First light soon starts to shine upon the Founders Seek and Captain Moed is the first among his crew to be awakened first getting ready he then waits for the rest of his crew to wake up.
Slowly one by one each crew member wakes up and heads towards the main deck of the Founders Seek. The twins were the first to quickly work on the ship as they needed to repair some damage on the ship, and Kalkeck with a handful of other crewmates were quick to work on the deck swabbing the wooden floor.
In the room Semya was sleeping in, he wakes up early feeling ready for the first time as he heads down from his hammock and tries to head to the upper deck but accidentally bumps towards Sally.
"You're up early Stowaway" she crosses her arms.
"Is that saying too much Sally?"
Sally chuckled "no normally Luughead would've beaten you by now waking up early"
"Well on the waves we sail, it's about time I don't feel homesick anymore" he smirked as Semya walks away from Sally.
Unknowingly to him it only made her feel more frustrated towards the Stowaway as she cracked her knuckles "I guess next time I would train you a bit more harder".
Then heading towards the main deck of the Founders Seek already sees most of the crew awake and ready to set sail then Captain Moed makes the announcement.
"Since most of our crew isn't fully awake, we will still set sail towards Semya's home island. Everyone hands on deck we'll set sail today and Semya I need you at my quarter"
Then Captain Moed heads into his quarters "what is a quarters?" Semya feeling confused he then looks to his right and sees Narrow. "Hey Narrow what's a quarter?"
"It's mostly where every captain own private room, none of us ever goes there, not even me. Unless you were called by the Captain, which would be you" Narrow points the direction where the captain's quarter. And Semya soon walks to the captain's quarters to have a talk with Captain Moed "you wanted to talk to me. um, Captain?"
Captain Moed looked at Semya as he was looking at his map on his table "you think I didn't notice your act yesterday" feeling uncomfortable by Captain Moed sudden mood changed he'd figured out why Captain Moed is acting like this in such a threatening way he never saw before joining the crew so early.
"Is this a test?" Semya thought to himself but with a dead looked on Captain Moed's face he realized it wasn't a test "you saw me last night didn't you"
Captain Moed sighed "of course I did as a captain it is my responsibility to make sure every member of my crew is safe, even a bit of my sacrifice had to be made on you." Captain Moed explains what he saw last night and witnesses Semya having an encounter with the Dragon Keeper "though I thought you as my weakest link. But I never saw any power quite like yours"
Sweat started to drip from his face as Semya tilted his head away from Captain Moed feeling a bit ashamed for keeping a secret away from the Captain "look if you want to throw off deck and I am fine with it"
"I didn't mean that. But I do have to admit your bravery and since you've been here for only two days and you're already accustomed to our ways, that's highly impressive don't say" he smiled.
Semya raised his head out of shock as he felt the calm presence of Captain Moed again, he felt relieved to hear Captain Moed was grateful for his hidden ability. Captain Moed then walked towards Semya as he showed him the map he was looking at from his table "your from Erpath right, the island your from is home to you"
Semya nodded "yes that is where my home village is at"
"We've passed through this island multiple times. No doubt you saw our ship more than twice"
Semya tries to remember from times that he could see from afar, but nothing couldn't come from his head though for long he doesn't remember his own island. He shook his head to the Captain "I don't remember where the island is, I was swept pretty far before being rescued by your crew"
"I see, then we should start scouting the west side here" Captain Moed points where they are heading in the map, then closes the map "that should be all for today I need to inform the crew where to set sail to" Captain Moed began to head towards the exit from his quarters as he looked back at Semya "we'll have another talk soon" then leaves his quarters.
Semya soon follows the same and leaves the quarters and sees everyone awake and doing their usual routine on the Founders Seek then set sailing off to Erpath. Though the ship has taken some damage thanks to the supplies Topp and Paze were able to finish today first light, as Semya was walking down the stairs from the captain's quarters.
"Hey Stowaway catch" Narrow tosses a mop to Semya "morning Semya, you better start cleaning or you'll get scolded by anyone"
"Okay? I'll take note of that" then proceeds to mop the floor.
Hours went by like leaves on wind, and every crew member is doing the usual routine but sometimes they do switch positions even if it rains the crew still manages to keep themselves healthy and in good shape but do get checked on regularly by Narrow after the rain has passed.
"How long till we get to the island Captain" Luughead asked politely.
"It only takes a few hours, Sally do you see the island yet"
"No Captain, it's still the wide blue ahead" while she continues to look through her spyglass.
Semya sees how cooperative the crew has been lately even after the attack from Captain Bulgoar, but then Semya looks towards Luughead "there is something I need to know"
Semya thinks to himself then walks towards Luughead "hey Luughead can I ask you something"
"Of course I am always an open book"
"Can you tell me how you interrupted a captain's duel?" Luughead gets surprise by Semya's question, nervousness in his face "is there a problem"
Luughead shook his head "no it's just you asked that so calmly I could do a proper reaction"
"but you were the one who stopped a captains duel before"
Since Luughead is too much of an honest person who gives up "alright I'll tell you."
During Luughead younger times as a pirate upon the Founders Seek during a captains duel with Captain Moed fighting Captain Smite and in a fierce duel with each other and Luughead being the newest members of the Founders Seek and intervene trying to stop the two but that only gives Captain Smite the perfect opportunity to create a counter attack by using Luughead as a meat shield that would cause Captain Moed to stop for a moment, but tho Captain Smite is using dirty tactics against Captain Moed he still manage to defeat Captain Smite but gave Luughead a scolding look of disappointment that is a burden Luughead kept reminding himself to this day.
Semya feels the awe of the consequences of intervening in a captain's duel "that invigorating" he thinks to himself.
"But I am always the one who respects the Captain. Me doing such action out of character right"
"to think I almost made the same mistake as you"
"But you were glad there was someone to warn before you acted" Luughead still gave a smile even from a bad memory.
Suddenly they both hear footsteps as someone swings down from the crow's nest "hey you two what are you doing slacking off, get back to work especially you stowaway" Sally ferociously scolding at them.
"Oh nothing Sally, Semya here was just more curious about the captain's duel"
"Is that so… well I guess you highly interested to become pirates like us, I still need to train you"
"I thought that was over" "it was not over, not only we were interrupted by Bulgoar's blasted crew, we didn't fully finish your training" then Sally passing Semya a sword, she is ready to put him through all sorts of torment, training Semya to become a true pirate.
