The bell rings.
"The door rang!"
"I'll get it! God, it's 10 PM, who could it be?
"Oh, it's just mail… whatever, but seriously, this late?"
She opens the small red box, which has a note on top.
She looks around for any trace of a person who could've left the box there, but it's dark and you can't see a thing.
"Who was it?" Preya asks.
"Oh, it's just mail."
"At this time?"
"Yup."
She opens the letter and reads it out loud, looking for a name, but it's anonymous:
"There's a letter though… it reads:
'For you, my little bunny, I'd do anything for you and this is just the beginning"
"Well, that's definitely something… what's inside the box?"
"I have no idea."
She opens the box, and something starts dripping from inside.
"OH MY GOD, WHAT ACTUALLY IS THAT?!"
"IT'S A FREAKING FINGER!"
"WHAT DO WE DO WITH IT??"
"I DON'T KNOW!"
"Okay, let's calm down first… maybe it could be a prank?"
"DOES IT LOOK LIKE ONE, FOR GOD'S SAKE?!"
"Okay, let's not panic, maybe? Try to keep calm. So… maybe you have an obsessed stalker that murders people?"
"Shut up, you have a wild imagination."
"Is it real?"
"Yes. Most definitely."
"I think we shouldn't get the police involved."
"I don't know… maybe we should?"
"Nah, we should just bury it in our backyard."
"It's not the best idea, but it's not a good one either. Screw it, whatever ,let's do it."
Later that night, she was lost in her thoughts and went out onto the balcony for fresh air.
From the corner of her eye, she caught a silhouette of a dark figure walking in front of her house.
The dark silhouette stopped and looked at her, but you couldn't really see him. He had a hoodie that covered his face, but she could definitely see the slight grin on his lips as he waved at her slowly.
"Who are you?" Adriana yelled, but she didn't get a response. Instead, the man hiding in the shadows pulled out a tiny letter from his pocket, walked to the front door, and left it there.
In the meantime, Adriana caught a glimpse of his face ,just for a second, but it was enough to send shivers down her spine.
His sharp jawline, those honey eyes, and that beautiful smirk made Adriana want to fall into his arms.
But she snapped back into reality: "Who is he?"
As he was walking away, he met Adriana's gaze one last time, and it felt like the world around them stopped for a second. Everything went so quiet that Adriana heard him say:
"Soon, little bunny… soon."
And with that, the man disappeared into the shadows where he came from.
Considering the fact that the house was on top of a hill and surrounded by trees, with only one driveway leading to it ,where could he have come from?
Maybe Preya was right,i mean-who knows? maybe I do have a stalker..
