Chapter 92: "If you dare not cause trouble, you are a mediocrity"?

The morning sunlight spilled over the white buildings of Shrek Academy, and the area in front of the Freshman Teaching Building gradually became lively.

Young Spirit Masters wearing uniform white school uniforms filed in, each wearing the green Little Monster Badge symbolizing the academy on their left chest.

The school uniform colors for students of different grades were all different, just like the colors of the teaching buildings they belonged to, forming a unique landscape.

Furina and Xiao Xiao walked through the crowd arm in arm, their appearance attracting many gazes.

Furina's unique long white hair shone with a soft luster in the morning light, forming a stark contrast with Xiao Xiao's jet-black long hair.

Just as they were about to enter the teaching building, they happened to meet Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong, who had arrived together.

"Sister Furina, Xiao Xiao, good morning!" Huo Yuhao waved enthusiastically, his face beaming with a sincere smile.

Furina's gaze inadvertently swept over Wang Dong, and she understood.

This "young man," just as she had expected, was still maintaining the appearance of being disguised as a boy.

Furina and Xiao Xiao also smiled and returned the greeting.

"Good morning, Huo Yuhao."

"Good morning, Yuhao." Furina turned her gaze to Wang Dong, "It seems this is your roommate?"

Huo Yuhao nodded, his tone light: "Yes, this is Wang Dong."

Xiao Xiao, who was standing to the side, couldn't help but exclaim: "Classmate Wang Dong, you look so good, you're as delicate as a girl."

Upon hearing this, a trace of unnaturalness flashed across Wang Dong's face, but he quickly returned to his proud demeanor: "This Lord is naturally gifted, there is nothing that can be done about it."

Xiao Xiao blinked playfully: "But being narcissistic isn't very good, oh."

Wang Dong was speechless for a moment and could only curl his lips helplessly.

Furina interrupted the conversation at the right moment: "Alright, it's getting late, we should go into the classroom. If we go late, the good seats will all be taken by others."

At her reminder, the four ended their idle chatter and walked quickly into the teaching building.

The inside of the classroom was spacious and bright, and many students were already seated at the neatly arranged desks.

Furina and Xiao Xiao chose a seat by the window and sat side by side, while Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong sat directly behind them.

Huo Yuhao looked at Furina's back in the front row, a trace of subtle disappointment welling up in his heart.

He had originally hoped to sit with Furina, but on second thought, as Furina's roommate, such an arrangement was indeed more appropriate for Xiao Xiao.

Moreover, he should be more magnanimous.

Thinking of this, he shook his head lightly and cast this bit of unhappiness to the back of his mind.

Just as the students were taking their seats and chatting in low voices, the classroom door was pushed open violently.

An old woman wearing a white teacher's robe walked in with a steady stride.

In Shrek Academy, colors represented a strict hierarchy—everything for freshmen was white, including this teacher's robes.

Although the old woman was elderly, her back was straight, and her gaze was like lightning.

She walked slowly to the podium, her cold gaze sweeping slowly across the entire classroom.

Under her sharp gaze, the classroom, which had been somewhat noisy, fell silent instantly, to the point where even breathing sounds became clearly audible.

After a while, the old woman finally spoke, her hoarse voice as harsh as a broken gong: "I am the head teacher of your Freshman Class One, Zhou Yi. You can address me as Teacher Zhou, or you can just call me Teacher."

She paused, her gaze becoming even more piercing: "Perhaps you think that having passed the enrollment assessment, you are the pride of heaven. But I want to tell you, you are nothing!"

These words were like a boulder thrown into a calm lake, causing quite a stir among the students.

Those who could enter Shrek Academy were all elites from various places, either from noble backgrounds or possessing extraordinary talent.

Being belittled like this by a freshman teacher, many students showed expressions of indignation on their faces.

Xiao Xiao, sitting beside Furina, also felt a wave of pressure, but she quickly adjusted her mindset.

Recalling the Cultivation Technique and guidance Furina had given her, she was no longer troubled by these words.

When she quietly looked at Furina beside her, she found that she was staring out the window in a daze, leisurely twirling a pen between her fingers, completely unconcerned by Zhou Yi's words.

Zhou Yi looked around at the different expressions on the students' faces and nodded with satisfaction: "What, do you think you can do anything now? Then I will tell you now, in my class, only monsters can stay. Any trash or idiots cannot exist."

These words almost tore off the mask of civility, and the atmosphere in the classroom suddenly became even heavier.

Many students' faces had turned pale, obviously enraged by this blunt reprimand.

Huo Yuhao recalled Bei Bei and Tang Ya's evaluation of Zhou Yi, and had a more intuitive understanding of this strict teacher.

However, his attention was more focused on Furina, looking forward to how she would fulfill her promise to "teach Zhou Yi how to be a qualified teacher."

On the podium, Zhou Yi's lecture continued.

She looked around the room again, her gaze suddenly fixing sharply in Furina's direction: "From the beginning of enrollment until now, anyone who has fought in the academy, stand up."

The students looked at each other, and the classroom fell into silence.

After all, they had just enrolled, who would fight for no reason?

In the silence, Huo Yuhao was the first to stand up.

He didn't want to show off; he just simply wanted to see what this teacher was intending to do.

Immediately after, Wang Dong also stood up.

Among the one hundred students in the class, only the two of them stood up, immediately becoming the focus of the entire room.

"Just two?" Zhou Yi's eyebrows raised high, "What a bunch of trash!"

At this moment, a student in the back row couldn't help but question: "Teacher Zhou, is fighting upon enrollment a good thing?"

"Don't you know what 'If you dare not cause trouble, you are a mediocrity' means?" Zhou Yi retorted coldly, "Except for those two, everyone else get out, run one hundred laps around Shrek Plaza. Whoever doesn't finish will be expelled immediately."

This order was like a thunderclap, causing an uproar in the classroom.

The students looked at each other, looking at the expressionless old woman on the podium in disbelief.

Just at this tense moment, a crisp voice suddenly rang out: "Teacher Zhou, please wait a moment."

Everyone's gaze instantly focused on the source of the voice—it was Furina, who had been staring out the window in a daze just moments ago.

She slowly put down the pen in her hand, stood up gracefully, and a wise light flickered in her blue eyes.

"I believe that the phrase 'If you dare not cause trouble, you are a mediocrity' perhaps needs to be re-understood." Furina's voice was calm and clear, "I believe that Shrek Academy should cultivate Spirit Masters who can distinguish right from wrong and possess justice, not reckless brutes who only know how to cause trouble."

The classroom fell silent instantly, everyone holding their breath, waiting for the subsequent development of this confrontation between teacher and student.

Zhou Yi's eyes narrowed slightly, clearly not having expected that any student would dare to question her teaching method to her face.

Sunlight filtered through the window, casting a bright halo on Furina.
