A gigantic meteor descended into the Pokémon world.

[And it was at that moment that a human named Damos, fleeing from war, arrived at the place where Arceus had fallen.]
[Damos discovered Arceus, and he saw that some of the Plates were shining and resonating with it.]
[He brought the Plates to Arceus, and when they touched it, they merged back into its body. Arceus awakened.]
[Arceus learned that Damos was searching for a paradise beyond the reach of war.]
[Looking around at the land that had become barren because of its own fall, it declared that this place would become that paradise.]
[It condensed five of its Origin Plates into the Jewel of Life.]
[Though its remaining power was little, even that fragment still contained terrifying force.]
[Arceus and Damos made an agreement: once Arceus had recovered some of its power, it would return to reclaim the Jewel of Life.]
[Arceus then dragged its heavily wounded body away from the Pokémon world to continue healing. It had been forcing itself to stay standing, and even its every movement was difficult.]
On the screen…
Arceus left the Pokémon world.
It no longer even had the strength to search for the rest of its Plates scattered across the world.
It returned to its own subspace and collapsed heavily onto the ground.
It had been forcing itself to endure until it reached its own space—
and there it fainted again.
A faint glow shimmered over its body as it absorbed power from the universe.
Only within its own subspace could it more effectively absorb cosmic power to repair itself.
[And Damos used the Jewel of Life to create a fertile land.]
[That land came to be known as——Michina.]
