Chapter 143 - Absolute Suppression

"Oh, right. Hold this for me, thanks."

As if remembering something, Gojo Satoru casually tossed a shopping bag to Fushiguro.

Fushiguro Megumi was dumbfounded. He had assumed it was something important, but instead it was filled with some delicious-looking pastries.

He was speechless.

Wait.

A sudden thought struck him, and the corner of his eye twitched violently.

Now he understood why Gojo-sensei hadn't shown up earlier.

He had gone to buy pastries.

Thinking about everything he himself had been through that night—bleeding, crying, nearly dying—while his utterly unreliable teacher had been out buying desserts at a moment when lives were on the line, Fushiguro only grew angrier the more he thought about it. Even his breathing started to feel hot.

"And this isn't just any pastry," Gojo continued. "It's edamame cream flavor. Super hard to get."

"Oh, come on, don't overthink it. You turned out fine, didn't you?"

Suddenly, every hair on Fushiguro's body stood on end. A terrifying aura surged around him.

He hurriedly looked up, only to see Yuji Itadori—covered in those eerie markings—already above Gojo Satoru's head.

Instantly, his pupils shrank.

"Gojo-sensei, watch out!"

Faced with Fushiguro's alarm, Gojo remained absurdly relaxed, still rambling on about pastries as if he hadn't noticed the threat behind him at all.

Boom!

Sukuna-possessed Yuji's attack slammed down with force comparable to a bomb. A single kick kicked up thick smoke, leaving Fushiguro unable to see what was happening inside. His heart leapt into his throat.

"Oh, and let me tell you, that cream filling is amazing. I've wanted to try it for ages."

After what felt like forever, the smoke finally began to clear. Hearing Gojo's voice, Fushiguro's tense nerves gradually relaxed.

When the dust settled, Yuji was kneeling on the ground, while Gojo Satoru was sitting on top of him as if using him for a bench.

Not only was Gojo completely unharmed, he was still going on and on about how delicious those pastries were.

At this moment, the cursed object inhabiting Yuji's body was furious.

As one of the strongest cursed objects in the world, it was supposed to inspire fear in countless people.

And yet this blindfolded man not only showed no fear whatsoever, but kept chatting lazily and even used him as a chair.

How could he tolerate that?

With a sudden burst of muscle, Yuji twisted around violently, relying on brute strength to try and throw Gojo off.

Only after turning around did he realize that Gojo had somehow already vanished from where he had been.

In the next instant, Yuji stomped hard and lunged forward again, driving a powerful punch at Gojo's head.

The punch carried incredible force, strong enough to make Fushiguro's heart skip a beat just from watching.

Yet Gojo showed no sign of panic. He kept talking casually about how sweet and delicious the pastries were.

Whether it was absolute confidence or simply because he couldn't see through the blindfold, he looked utterly unconcerned.

A fierce gust of wind swept past.

Yuji's punch missed.

And just like before, Gojo had vanished again, reappearing behind Yuji.

At this point, both the viewers and Fushiguro fully understood.

Gojo Satoru was toying with Yuji by relying on speed so incredible that it was practically teleportation.

The dimensional platform erupted once again.

Professor Oak: "My goodness, can a human really reach that kind of speed? He's faster than even my Dragonite by an unbelievable margin."

Ichigo Kurosaki: "That speed… it feels even faster than Flash Step."

Rukia: "Not just faster. From what I can tell, even captain-level fighters wouldn't be able to keep up."

Shisui Uchiha: "He's unbelievably fast. Much faster than my Body Flicker."

Son Goku: "Interesting. Reaching this level through physical ability alone… he should come train with King Kai."

Itachi Uchiha: "No way, Shisui. Your Body Flicker is famous throughout the ninja world."

Frieza: "Heh. Now this is more like it. Someone interesting at last."

As everyone marveled at Gojo's speed, none of them knew that something even more shocking was coming.

In the video, Yuji seemed to have grown furious from being played with.

He gritted his teeth and pushed his speed even further.

For a moment, the two of them looked like intertwined streaks of light, leaving Fushiguro completely stunned.

"Alright, enough playing. At least let me keep some dignity in front of my student."

Just as Yuji threw another punch, Gojo appeared behind him and spoke lightly.

In the next second, Gojo's speed increased even more.

He spun midair and delivered a vicious kick straight into Yuji's stomach, sending him flying several meters away and bending the railing behind him from the impact.

"That bastard… I'm not that easy to deal with!"

That kick not only displayed Gojo's incredible offensive power, but also left Yuji seething with anger.

Yuji's fists began to glow as a large amount of cursed energy gathered within them. Then he launched himself forward and slammed down with a thunderous blow directly in front of Gojo.

Dust exploded everywhere.

Yuji smiled. He was sure that punch had landed.

But was that really the case?

"Seven… eight… nine…"

Gojo's voice rose from within the dust.

Judging by the sound of it, he wasn't hurt at all. In fact, he sounded completely calm, as if he were merely counting numbers.

And sure enough, when Gojo reached ten, Yuji's heart suddenly throbbed violently.

The strange markings all over his body instantly vanished, and the strength drained out of him like water.

He collapsed to the ground.

The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was Gojo Satoru, completely unscathed—not even a speck of dust on his clothes.

That night, as a witness from beginning to end, Fushiguro Megumi finally understood what true absolute suppression looked like.

But the video about Gojo Satoru was not over yet.

On an empty road, a black sedan sped through the night.

The scene changed.

It was still nighttime.

The driver kept his eyes on the road, one hand on the wheel, talking nonstop about something.

In the backseat, Gojo Satoru leaned against the window, deep in thought.

It was obvious that his mind had long drifted elsewhere. He hadn't heard a single word.

"Stop the car."

Suddenly, as if sensing something, Gojo abruptly told them to stop.

He stepped out, closed the door, and watched the vehicle drive away.

He was left alone in the wilderness, accompanied only by a dim streetlamp.

"Alright, all the bystanders are gone. You can come out now, can't you?"

Gojo watched the car disappear, then turned his gaze toward a certain spot and asked with mild confusion, "Do we know each other? Is there something you wanted from me?"

There was no reply.

But in the next moment, a figure dropped from the sky and smashed straight toward where Gojo was standing.

Clearly, another challenger had come to test Gojo Satoru's strength.
