He took me too lunch. Nowhere fancy, which I was grateful for. I wasn't exactly dressed for somewhere that status is more currency than actual currency. I still had bruising on my face. It was mostly gone, and my makeup did a good job covering the rest. But I knew it was still there and people with the kind of money that bought idol level make up would see right through my Shop O'Mart concealer.
He took me to an outdoor vendor cart with pop up seating and bulgogi plastered across the side of the cart.
I order Dak Bulgogi and Taeyung asked for the same thing.
We sat down after ordering at the counter and waited.
"What are you doing for the new monster release? Did you want to hang out and grind during the special event?" He opened the dialogue between us ending the silence that was stretched too thin.
