After Ams dropped, Lebo knew he was alone against Jane, one of the strongest Echo D. He stepped back, using gravity to keep distance.
Jane walked forward, calm.
Adam leaned toward Zeliex. "He's playing it safe."
Zeliex nodded. "He has to."
Lebo sent another gravity surge, but Jane dodged instantly and appeared in front of him, punching his chest. Lebo reacted fast, using gravity to soften the hit, making it feel like a pillow.
Adam blinked. "He reduced the impact?"
Zeliex smirked. "Good instinct."
Jane then jumped, floated slightly, and twisted mid-air, kicking toward Lebo's right side. He blocked, but still got pushed back.
Adam clenched his fists. "He's getting pushed…"
Zeliex replied, "Defense isn't enough against her."
Jane smiled. "Show me your power, Lebo. I want to have fun."
Lebo exhaled. "I have no chance… but I'll try."
He moved fast, jumping, placing his foot on the wall, and pushing off. He reduced gravity to zero. His body floated, then shot forward.
Adam leaned forward. "That's fast!"
Zeliex nodded. "Better."
Lebo grabbed Jane and slammed her to the ground.
Adam shouted, "Yes! He got her!"
Zeliex calmly said, "Watch."
Lebo landed, ready to follow up—but then he noticed dust.
"…A potion?"
His eyes widened.
"Didn't she throw the belt…?"
Then he realized.
"…A pocket."
Zeliex said quietly, "She never goes unprepared."
Adam frowned. "So it was a trap?"
"Always," Zeliex replied.
The air suddenly felt heavy. Lebo slowed. Jane stood up and rushed him, touching his arm.
"1… 2… 3… 4."
Lebo froze. His vision blurred. His thoughts slowed.
Adam stepped forward. "What is she doing?!"
Zeliex answered, "Counting. Humans are about 70% water… she turned part of it into a potion."
Lebo stumbled back, dizzy. "What did you do—"
Jane was already in front of him.
"Dizzy is the worst thing you can feel in a fight."
She grabbed him and dropped him.
First fall.
Lebo hit the ground hard, but forced himself up, breathing rough.
"…Think…"
Jane watched calmly.
Lebo changed stance, going close.
Adam whispered, "Why is he getting closer?!"
Zeliex replied instantly, "Because distance isn't working."
Jane stepped in and kicked. Lebo blocked—but the hit felt stronger.
His eyes widened.
"…What is this?"
Then he saw it.
A faint maroon aura around her leg.
Adam froze. "Did you see that?!"
Zeliex narrowed his eyes. "…Yeah."
Lebo didn't have time to react.
💥
He got launched into the wall and fell.
Second fall.
Silence filled the dojo.
Adam exhaled. "…That kick…"
Zeliex said, "Different."
Lebo stood up again, shaking.
One fall left.
Jane stepped forward, calm.
Lebo rushed in, trying to fight hand to hand.
Adam said, "He's forcing it—"
Zeliex replied, "Last chance."
Jane slipped inside his guard and touched him again.
"1… 2… 3… 4."
Lebo slowed completely.
Dizzy.
His vision blurred.
Sound faded.
Through the blur—
He saw her.
Jane.
She lifted a small bottle—
Drank.
💬 …a potion…?
Her leg flickered again—
That same faint maroon aura.
💬 So that's it…
Too late.
She grabbed him—
💥 DROP
Third fall.
"Winner… Jane," Ronan said.
Adam exhaled. "That was brutal…"
Zeliex said, "She held back."
Adam snapped, "That's holding back?!"
Zeliex smirked. "You'd be down faster."
Lebo stood up slowly and walked toward Jane.
"…That kick… I saw something… a little maroon aura."
Adam looked confused. "Aura?"
Zeliex said quietly, "Now it begins."
Jane smiled. "So you saw it."
Lebo frowned.
"…Wait… didn't Ronan say you still didn't learn Uniqe Orp yet?"
Jane nodded.
"I didn't."
She raised the empty bottle slightly.
"I used potions."
Adam blinked. "Potions… for that?"
Jane replied,
"Potions that let me see Uniqe aura all the time…"
She paused.
"…and use Uniqe Orp for a short time."
Zeliex crossed his arms. "For how long?"
Jane smirked.
"…Five minutes."
Adam's eyes widened. "Only five?!"
Zeliex nodded. "That's the limit."
Jane added, "After that… it's gone. So I finish fights fast."
She looked at Lebo.
"You should try keeping up."
Ronan stepped forward, a small smile on his face.
"…Yeah."
"That's my student."
He glanced at Adam.
"…And you."
Adam blinked. "Me?"
Ronan nodded.
"You saw it too."
Adam froze slightly.
"…I did…?"
Zeliex smirked.
"Guess you're not as blind as I thought."
Adam looked back at the fight area, quieter now.
"…Uniqe Orp…"
Ronan placed a hand on Lebo's shoulder.
"…Good."
He paused.
"…Now eat the lemon."
