And just like that, Arashi's journey through the West Blue officially began.
Ilusia Kingdom, Sig Town?
Arashi was certain he had never seen this name in the original story.
And that was exactly how it should be! Only this kind of journey was truly interesting, wasn't it?
Ross and the others became more and more uninhibited as they played around. In less than half an hour, they had turned the entire bar into complete chaos. Some customers, unable to tolerate the noise, paid and left, while others gradually shifted from dissatisfaction to outright anger.
"Bang!"
Suddenly, the bar doors were forcefully pushed open. Immediately after, a group of men wearing uniform black hats strode in arrogantly.
The customers in the bar turned their heads at the sudden noise, but the moment they saw who had entered, many quickly withdrew their gazes, not daring to look any longer.
"Haha, business is pretty good here!"
The man leading the group, wearing a peaked cap, scanned the bar before walking to the counter. Removing his hat, he revealed a bearded face. With a faint smile, he spoke to the bartender:
"Do you recognize me?"
"I—I do!!"
The bartender replied, trembling.
"Hahaha, that makes things easier!"
The man leaned casually against the counter, his tone still gentle:
"I'm in a good mood today, so I'd like you to clear out some space for my subordinates. I want to hold a welcome ceremony for my new member. Of course, if you can clear out two sections, that would be even better."
The moment his words fell, the previously noisy bar fell completely silent.
The bar was already full, so this request was clearly making things difficult for the bartender. But more than difficulty, what filled him was fear.
Because the man—who appeared polite, smiling warmly like a gentleman—was none other than Radell, the captain of the Black Hat Pirates, a name currently resounding across the West Blue.
"Damn, it's the Black Hat Pirates!"
"Let's go, brothers—we need to get out of here now. If we don't, it'll be too late!"
"Why are the Black Hat Pirates in Sig Town?"
"I heard they recently recruited a new officer-level member with an insanely high bounty."
"Shh, stop talking—Radell is looking this way!"
Black Hat Pirates?
Sitting in a booth, Arashi couldn't help but chuckle upon hearing the name. Sure enough, whether pirates or civilians, everyone in this West Blue seemed inseparable from their hats!
More importantly, this captain of the Black Hat Pirates didn't look fierce at all—he was more like a refined Western gentleman.
Well… that certainly matched Sig Town's local culture.
After overhearing the whispers, Radell stood up and walked toward the group.
Stopping in front of them, he tilted his head slightly, then suddenly burst into laughter.
"That's right—I am Radell, captain of the Black Hat Pirates. Welcome to Sig Town. This is my hometown and the place where I rose to power. Most importantly, I will be holding a welcome ceremony here for my new member. So, everyone present, do me a favor—clear out within three minutes. How about it?"
Before he even finished speaking, Radell's previously polite demeanor vanished. His expression turned cold, and his sharp gaze swept across the entire bar. Seeing that no one moved, he slowly forced out five words through gritted teeth:
"All of you—get out!"
"Hiss…"
The moment his words fell, and the chilling aura emanated from him spread, some of the more timid patrons didn't dare linger for even a second. They immediately got up and rushed toward the exit.
In the blink of an eye, more than half the bar was empty.
Ross and Ximei, sitting with Arashi, were also somewhat panicked. But seeing that Arashi remained completely unfazed, they forced themselves to stay seated.
Although the two brothers didn't run, their so-called "friends" had already disappeared without a trace—leaving without even calling them along, perfectly embodying the term "fair-weather friends."
Seeing that some people still remained seated, a cold glint flashed in Radell's eyes. He then walked toward the nearest booth.
"Radell!"
Before he could approach, two young men in black suits stood up from the booth and spoke in low voices:
"That's enough. Others may fear your Black Hat Pirates, but in Sig Town, our syndicate calls the shots!"
"Hm?"
Radell hadn't expected them to be members of the syndicate. The existence of this syndicate was something even he had to take seriously. In recent years, they had risen rapidly, expanding their influence across the entire West Blue underworld, becoming the undisputed overlords of it all.
And all of this was because of one man!
Before his appearance, the West Blue's underworld had been chaotic, with various factions ruling their own territories.
But after this man appeared, he unified the entire chaotic underworld by himself—and became the feared godfather of the West Blue's underworld!
Just as Radell fell into brief silence, a young woman standing among the orderly ranks behind him suddenly raised her head.
She wore a black coat and a peaked cap like the others.
The next second, she decisively raised both hands and declared word by word:
"Dos Fleur: Grab!"
Hearing the sudden voice from behind him, Radell's eyes widened instantly as he hurriedly shouted:
"No—!"
Clearly, he was too late.
The moment his voice rang out, two arms suddenly sprouted from the bodies of the two syndicate members. In a flash, they seized their heads.
Crack! Crack!
Two crisp sounds echoed.
Before the two men could even react, their necks were twisted violently—killed on the spot!
This shocking and bizarre scene instantly stunned everyone still inside the bar.
Even Arashi looked up in surprise at the elegant figure standing among Radell's crew, exuding an aristocratic aura.
"Devil Fruit user…"
At another table, several customers cried out in shock as they saw arms grow out of the victims' bodies and snap their necks. All of them turned toward the striking young woman behind Radell, their eyes nearly popping out.
"My God… the new member of the Black Hat Pirates is…"
"It's… the Devil of Ohara—Nico Robin!"
