Professor McGonagall needed to find Headmaster Dumbledore immediately to inform him of what she had experienced today.
As soon as Professor McGonagall vanished with a crack, the Grangers immediately began a strict interrogation of Harvey and Hermione.
They absolutely did not believe the two children had simply sneaked out to play.
The gaping hole in the ceiling of Harvey's room was terrifying to look at.
Faced with such a scene of massive destruction, how could the Grangers not worry about the children's safety?
But Harvey remained stubborn to the bitter end, insisting that they had merely snuck out to play.
With no other option, the Grangers sternly threatened the two children: if they made a mess of the house again, they would not be allowed to attend Hogwarts.
He barely managed to bluff his way past the Grangers.
After dinner, Harvey lay in bed, staring blankly at the ceiling that Professor McGonagall had restored with magic.
"Today's experience was certainly full of twists and turns!"
Fortunately, Harvey hadn't walked away empty-handed.
At the very least, he had learned most of the spells in The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1.
Moreover, he could proficiently cast the dimensional portal.
In fact, Harvey discovered that his magical talent was frighteningly high.
He could learn any spell just by looking at it once.
Even the advanced magic of Kamar-Taj was easy for him to pick up.
"But talent does not equal strength. Forget the Purple Titan; I can't even compare to Headmaster Dumbledore, who stands at the pinnacle of the wizarding world."
"The road is long and difficult. I still need to work hard... yawn..."
With a mind full of complex thoughts, it wasn't until after midnight that Harvey's excitement finally faded, and he unconsciously drifted off to sleep.
...
Over the next two months before school started.
Almost every day, Harvey and Hermione would sneak off to the Marvel world to practice spells.
Harvey's progress in learning magic was terrifyingly fast.
In just two short months, he had mastered and could proficiently use all the spells from the three Hogwarts textbooks: The Standard Book of Spells, Grades 1, 2, and 3.
Nowadays, Harvey had even begun self-studying the Mirror Dimension magic of Kamar-Taj.
Hermione's learning progress, however, was far behind Harvey's.
It was only now that she had barely mastered the spells in The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1.
There were still many spells that Hermione had only memorized by rote and couldn't yet use proficiently.
But when it came to the dimensional portal magic, Hermione's mastery was quite gratifying.
Perhaps crossing between two worlds had unconsciously given her a very deep understanding of dimensional space.
Harvey also couldn't understand Hermione's magical talent—why had she only maxed out the dimensional space magic skill tree?
Unfortunately, he didn't have time to study it slowly.
Because it was already September 1st.
The time for new students to enroll at Hogwarts had arrived.
At 9 a.m. that morning, the bright blue sky was cloudless, and the temperature was pleasant.
It seemed as if the hot summer had deliberately lowered its temperature to welcome the new students, bringing a rare coolness to everyone starting at Hogwarts.
Wearing their brand-new wizard robes, Harvey and Hermione were driven by the Grangers in their Ford sedan to King's Cross Station early in the morning.
At 9:40 a.m.
The Ford sedan slowly pulled up to the drop-off plaza of King's Cross Station.
"Goodbye, Mom and Dad!"
Hermione, whose identity had officially transitioned to a young witch, couldn't wait to open the door and hop out of the car after saying goodbye to her parents.
"Thank you, Mrs. Granger and Mr. Granger, for seeing us off. I'll take good care of Hermione."
After stepping out of the car, Harvey politely offered his thanks.
Hearing Harvey say he would take good care of Hermione actually made Mr. Granger worry even more.
But at this point, he could only silently pray that his youngest daughter would maintain her modesty...
Today was not only the start of term for Hogwarts but also for most Muggle students.
Therefore, the entrance to the classic Victorian-style King's Cross Station was incredibly crowded.
In the plaza outside the station, adults holding their children's hands bustled about, pushing their way toward the various train platforms.
Harvey and Hermione, each pulling a yellow trunk with wheels, stood isolated in a corner of the station plaza.
Hermione couldn't help but mutter softly, "Is there really such a strange platform as Nine and Three-Quarters?" while scanning the crowded platforms with a bewildered look.
Harvey, holding his trunk with one hand and firmly grasping Hermione's hand with the other, like a big brother worried about losing his little sister, explained gently:
"Between platforms 9 and 10 at King's Cross Station, there is a seemingly ordinary dividing brick wall. That is the starting point where the dream begins."
Feeling her soft, boneless hand held by Harvey, Hermione's body stiffened for a moment before she quickly pulled away, blushing as she maintained her distance and said:
"Don't get too close to me. Mom says girls should keep their distance from boys."
Harvey: "..."
Great, what if the Grangers have completely corrupted Hermione?
Just then, a red-haired boy with a mysterious grey smudge on his nose walked by, his head drooping as he followed behind an older, scholarly-looking boy with glasses.
At the same time, Mrs. Weasley, whom Harvey had met before, walked at the very front, tightly holding the hands of a pair of round-faced twins, leading her large family toward Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.
Seeing a familiar face, Hermione's enrollment jitters inexplicably vanished, and she called out toward them, "Ron?"
Ron, walking at the very back with his head down like a pitiful unloved child, looked up in astonishment.
"Hermione? Harvey?"
Mrs. Weasley also spotted Harvey and Hermione.
"Hello, children, we meet again! On such an important day as the start of term, did your parents not come with you?"
Harvey shook his head, too lazy to even bother explaining.
Hermione, however, politely explained to Mrs. Weasley: "It is very nice to see you again, Mrs. Weasley."
"My parents have work to attend to, and besides, starting school is such a simple thing, we can handle it ourselves."
Mrs. Weasley put on a look of sheer admiration, grabbing her sixth child Ron by the ear and starting to scold him: "Look at them! Learning to be independent at such a young age..."
Ron, with a bitter expression on his face, nodded continuously in agreement.
Then, Mrs. Weasley introduced the family members behind her.
"You already know Ron. These two are Fred and George. They're just starting their third year and love to cause trouble, so don't let them be a bad influence on you."
Next, Mrs. Weasley proudly emphasized the oldest child she had brought today.
"This is Percy Weasley, Ron's fifth oldest brother. He's a Gryffindor prefect in his fifth year, and all the professors praise his serious attitude toward studying..."
Hearing this, Harvey worried that Mrs. Weasley wouldn't be able to stop once she started showing off her children.
He quickly interjected, "Excuse me, Mrs. Weasley... the Hogwarts Express should be arriving soon. Why don't we get on the train, find our seats, and then get to know each other better?"
"Yes, yes, yes, I almost lost track of time." Mrs. Weasley slapped her forehead, grabbed the twins by the hands, and rushed toward the brick wall between platforms 9 and 10.
