[September 1, 1992]
The first day of the second school year.
During the two months of summer vacation, Hermione and I continued to study magic at Kamar-Taj in the Marvel world.
This time, I focused my studies on books related to alchemy.
However, there weren't many books on alchemy in the Kamar-Taj library, and I eventually discovered that the principles of Marvel's alchemy are not compatible with the Harry Potter world.
So—
I wasted two months of my life...
But you win some, you lose some.
In my second year, I met the newly enrolled Luna Lovegood.
Luna has pale blonde hair and eyes that seem misty and ethereal, but other young wizards call her "Loony" because she often says things that make no sense.
Luna's tragic childhood experiences moved me.
Therefore, I must save her from her misery.
During this school year, I often discussed The Quibbler magazine, edited by her father, with Luna.
I also made a detailed statistical report on how many Wrackspurts were buzzing around all the young wizards at Hogwarts.
I have to admit, after spending so much time with this "Loony" girl, my own mental state seems a bit off...
[October 1992]
This point in time is also a major turning point in the Marvel world; the news of Tony Stark's disappearance in the Middle East is causing a massive stir.
I took the opportunity to buy up shares in Stark Industries.
Coincidentally, the previous 800 million US dollars had been mostly spent on real estate and buying Vibranium for my research on the Philosopher's Stone.
So, it's time to make another massive fortune off him!
[Late December 1992]
On the eve of Christmas, the Basilisk from the legendary Chamber of Secrets emerged and petrified two unlucky souls.
Knowing the specific cause, I was absolutely furious!
It definitely wasn't because one of the petrified victims was Luna, whose affection meter was nearly maxed out.
Therefore, I slipped into the Chamber of Secrets through a portal and easily resolved the Basilisk with a single Killing Curse.
I have to say, Avada Kedavra is truly efficient!
Afterward, the Basilisk incident gradually subsided, though another unsolved mystery was added to the campus legends of Hogwarts.
Hiding my merits and fame, I can finally continue to cultivate Luna's affection.
But why does old Dumbledore keep looking at me so strangely?
[Early January 1993]
The second half of the second school year at Hogwarts.
Nothing is going right!!
Harry Potter discovered that Voldemort was controlling Ron's sister, Ginny, through a diary.
Considering Ginny is Ron's sister after all, and she's quite a pretty little thing...
Wait, I mean, as a friend, I naturally felt obligated to step in and help.
The result was quite unexpected.
Voldemort actually played a double game!
On the surface, he was only controlling Ginny through the Imperius Curse, but Voldemort had also secretly taken control of the new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, Gilderoy Lockhart.
Because I already knew that Professor Lockhart, the "great author," was a fraud, I underestimated his presence.
One night, Professor Lockhart and Ginny found Harry Potter in the Room of Requirement.
The battle was about to erupt.
Fortunately, Harry Potter called me for help in time, and I destroyed the diary with a Basilisk fang.
The Imperius Curse was broken, and both Lockhart and Ginny regained their senses, but Voldemort escaped once again.
And Professor Lockhart, whose life I had just saved, actually had the nerve to dock 50 points from me.
In hindsight, I've always regretted it—regretted killing the Basilisk so early, causing the subsequent events to suffer a butterfly effect.
Moreover, I've acted with too little presence in my daily life.
To the point where even a fraud dared to dock my House points.
Whatever, I can't be bothered to argue with a dead man walking; Lockhart's identity will be exposed soon anyway.
I'd better go quickly and comfort my junior, the frightened Ginny...
[September 1993]
Another first day of term.
This is my third year studying at Hogwarts.
Yet, I have become the most hated "scumbag" playboy at Hogwarts; many young witches go out of their way to avoid me.
The root of it all.
Was because one night, while I was watching the stars with Ginny on the roof of the castle tower, I was caught by the clingiest one, Cho Chang!
As a result, during the two months of summer vacation, I had to constantly scramble back and forth between the homes of the three young witches: Hermione, Cho Chang, and Ginny.
Working hard to earn their forgiveness.
As for Luna, this girl doesn't fight or grab; her open-minded personality is very worry-free.
After learning that Harvey was juggling four relationships at once.
She didn't make a scene or scream about wanting to kill me like Hermione and Cho Chang did.
Instead, she continued to discuss the wondrous nature of Thestrals with me as usual.
I have to say, this is the only thing that gives me any comfort.
In short, my bad luck seems to have followed me from the previous school year into the present.
Sometimes, I even get the idea to try a "Luck-Changing Ritual," which other young wizards describe as being very mystical, to change my fortunes.
However, I know that being superstitious is very stupid!
[December 25, 1993]
Even though it's the festive Christmas holiday and other young wizards are running off on dates in pairs.
I am alone in my Hogwarts dormitory, messing around with the offerings needed for the "Luck-Changing Ritual."
This is because I discovered one day.
That Luna had quietly poured a bottle of dark green, lethal poison into my water cup.
It turns out the true reason this "open-minded and cheerful" young witch was discussing Thestrals with me was that she wanted to witness death with her own eyes.
To witness—my death!!!
Now I don't even have time to care about the breaking news of Sirius Black escaping from Azkaban.
Hermione, Cho Chang, Ginny, and Luna—four "cold-blooded" young witches—gather together every day to research how to kill me without drawing attention.
It's reached the point where I'm terrified even to take a sip of water; if my luck continues to be this bad, I'm worried I won't live to see the sun of my fourth year.
Finally.
I hope the Luck-Changing Ritual works to some extent...
[September 1, 1994]
The first day of the fourth school year; the Sirius Black matter was resolved by Harry Potter, the man of destiny.
I don't want to comment on it at all, because my heart is very weary...
Simply dealing with four "demon witches" who want me dead has exhausted all my energy every day.
How could I have the mood to evaluate the big news of Harry Potter clearing Sirius Black's name?
And—
"Luck-Changing Rituals" are all lies!!!
[December 1994]
This is also September 2010 in the Marvel world, and big news broke again today.
At the world-renowned Stark Expo, smart robots went out of control, resulting in hundreds of casualties; this explosive news hit the front page of the New York Times.
I merely watched with cold indifference, becoming increasingly cautious about my research project on crafting a "Flying Divine Sword."
If a Flying Divine Sword were to go out of control, the consequences would be severe.
As for the so-called research project, it's actually something used to bluff Harry Potter.
It's mainly a "key project" to research how to craft a sword that one can stand on to fly.
Harry asks me about the research progress every day.
Out of necessity, I could only throw together a random project, hoping to fool him.
But then again... flying on a sword is pretty cool.
This "Divine Sword Project" has great potential!
