Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: Heaven-Defying Reward, Weather-Weather Fruit! Encountering Luffy!

Kaya secretly glanced at Reno.

So Nami and Sister Makino had already been...

What a naughty brother.

"Nami, what did you say?!" Reno looked at Nami with a mischievous smile.

With the Healing-Healing Fruit, he guaranteed he could make Nami soar.

Nami stuck out her tongue, hid behind Makino, and quickly begged for mercy.

Although she often bickered with Reno, she didn't dare genuinely provoke him.

Otherwise, she would be in big trouble.

It was better to let her 'receiver' rest for a couple of days.

Seeing Nami yield, Reno raised an eyebrow and took the women to dinner.

That night, in the room, Reno began to claim his reward.

After bringing Kaya into his fold, the system's prompt arrived as expected.

"Claim Reward."

[Congratulations, Host, you have obtained the Logia-type Weather-Weather Fruit.]

A flash of white light, and a Devil Fruit with multi-colored patterns appeared before Reno.

Reno stared intently at this Devil Fruit, his heart pounding.

Why was he so excited?!

Weather was not a single element.

As far as he knew, it encompassed wind, rain, thunder, lightning, clouds, snow, frost, and fog.

This meant that by eating this Devil Fruit, the user could develop multiple elements simultaneously.

Monet's Snow-Snow Fruit?!

Yes!

The Rumble-Rumble Fruit, known as the strongest destructive Logia-type?!

Yes!

The rumored Wind-Wind Fruit of Revolutionary Army Dragon?!

Also yes!

Everything imaginable!

Simply heaven-defying.

Reno calmed his excited emotions.

The Weather-Weather Fruit's rightful owner was, without a doubt, Nami.

Nami herself was a genius navigator, perfectly suited for this Devil Fruit.

Secondly.

Although the two often bickered, in Reno's view, it was merely their way of flirting.

Who said flirting had to involve hugging and kissing?!

Reno had a special fondness for Nami.

Moreover, no matter who ate the Weather-Weather Fruit, he could share the ability.

How delightful.

Satisfied, Reno carefully put away the Weather-Weather Fruit, planning to give Nami a surprise.

Several days later.

Inside the mansion, looking at Jango, Sham, and Buchi tied up, Kaya finally understood why Reno had lingered here for a few days.

Jango and the others twisted their bodies frantically, struggling with all their might.

Even now, he was still completely bewildered.

A few days ago, Kuro had contacted them, informing them that the plan was going smoothly and everything was under control.

He told them to get ready and act according to the plan.

But after waiting for several days, as the time for action approached, Kuro seemed to have vanished into thin air.

After discussing it, the three decided to come together to see what was going on.

As soon as they appeared, they were instantly defeated.

"Reno, who are these people?!"

Reno glanced at them and slowly said, "Kuro's subordinates, also core members of the Black Cat Pirates."

Kaya's heart skipped a beat.

Reno leisurely sipped his tea and continued, "Kuro originally planned for them to attack the village, take the opportunity to hypnotize you, make you write a will, and then seize your property."

"Oh, right." Reno paused, pointing at Jango, "I mentioned before there was a guy who could hypnotize, that's him."

"Bastard, where's Captain Kuro?! What did you do to him?!" His identity exposed, Jango roared.

An indignant Nami immediately stepped forward and gave him a hard kick, "You're tied up, and you still dare to shout."

"What else? Of course, I sent him on his way," Reno responded nonchalantly.

Then he shook his head again, disdainfully saying, "Speaking of which, Kuro was really too stupid. For a gentle, beautiful, and generous girl like Miss Kaya, I would definitely win her heart and then marry her."

Wouldn't that be getting both the person and the wealth?!

Isn't this living life in the sunshine?!

He took the narrow path.

Kaya was embarrassed by Reno's praise, her face flushed as she slightly lowered her head.

But in her heart, she thought.

Reno, praise me more, Kaya loves to hear it.

"Heh heh, you think you can defeat the Captain?!" Jango sized up Reno, shaking his head in disdain.

In the East Blue, he could name everyone who could defeat Kuro.

But clearly, the Reno in front of him was not among them.

Reno couldn't be bothered to waste words on such minor characters. He teleported multiple times, sending Jango and the others to a deserted island.

They wanted to see Kuro, didn't they?!

Let them see him then.

Hmm.

Not bad.

The beasts were quite considerate; they even left two bones.

After dealing with the few, Reno returned to the hall.

As for handing them over to the Marines?!

Heh heh.

These heinous, utterly wicked scoundrels, still thinking of joining the Marines later to get whitewashed?!

Reno directly sent them to their demise.

When Reno reappeared, the women knew the matter had been resolved.

As for the fate of those few, they didn't care.

Reno clapped his hands, his mood cheerful, "Alright, my beautiful crewmates, the villains have been punished. It's time for us to depart for our next destination."

Kaya jumped up happily, "Yay! Finally, we can set sail!"

A wish she'd held for over ten years could finally come true today.

"Thank you, Reno." Kaya pecked Reno's cheek lightly, like a dragonfly touching water.

"Let's go!" Nami also shouted joyfully.

During her time with Reno, she had felt a peace of mind she'd never experienced before.

They bickered every day, but why did it feel so comfortable?!

"It seems I've joined a very good Pirate Crew."

"And a very good Captain."

Makino smiled gently, following close behind.

As soon as everyone stepped out of the door, Usopp, who had been waiting for a long time, came forward and asked nervously, "Kaya, are you leaving Syrup Village?!"

Kaya looked at Reno and smiled, nodding, "Yes, Usopp, I'm going out to sea with Reno."

"To see the outside world. I probably won't be back for a while."

Usopp lowered his head, somewhat dejected.

After a moment, he suddenly looked up, staring at Reno with anticipation, and pleaded, "Can I join your Pirate Crew?!"

Reno:...Ugly, rejected!

Just as Reno was about to speak, he suddenly raised an eyebrow, his gaze fixed on the distance, a slight curve forming at the corner of his mouth.

"Usopp, my Pirate Crew probably isn't suitable for you."

"However, the Pirate Crew that is suitable for you has arrived."
