Chapter 90
GEORGIA'S POV
Katsha looked like she had just been hit by a stray ball out of nowhere. She stared at Michaela, completely speechless, her mouth slightly agape. It was clear she hadn't seen this coming in a million years.
"I know this is bizarre, and it's the last thing you expected to hear, but I'm sorry. This is who I am, and you're the one I've fallen for," Michaela said, her eyes searching Katsha's face for any hint of a response. "I don't want to make things awkward because I know you don't feel the same, but I just had to get it out. To be at peace with myself, I needed you to know I've always had a soft spot for you."
"You? Not... not Michael?"
"I'm gay, Katsha. Remember the big dinner reveal?"
"Right. Oh."
"I know you're flustered," Michaela continued, her hands moving behind her back to pick at her cuticles—a nervous habit I knew well. "I just needed this off my chest. It's been eating at me for a while."
