When Jaime kissed me, it felt really strange. Even though I'd long forgotten what it felt like to be kissed by him, my lips remembered the shape of his. The tenderness, the gentleness.
I couldn't help having flashes of the many times we kissed. People seemed quite interested in watching, and just when I began to get frustrated by the kiss and the unexpected feelings rising up, Nikolaj floated into my mind.
We had kissed that night when we first met, and it was full of sparks. Again, we had kissed by the water on Rheia's school trip. Both times were beautiful.
Kissing Nikolaj gave me butterflies, and it was funny that I was thinking of him while being kissed by Jaime. Jaime let me go, and I realized I was smiling.
He sat back and chuckled, pleased with himself. I looked at him, then at the people, who were smiling as they went back to what they were doing.
