Abel’s right hand caught on fire.
As Hades remembered, Abel’s right hand was where his source of mana, where the nexus was embedded.
He vaguely recalled the time when he was young and had hard time controlling his mana.
He had yet to become proficient in wielding mana systematically, but his powers were too great, which often made him injured.
The pain of burning his own skin due to being unable to freely wield his own fire was horrid enough that he did not want to remember again.
Clash-!
The giant window shattered. Shards of glass, along with ice that had yet to melt, rained over them sharply.
Hades shouted as he covered Abel in his arms at once.
“Enough! Stop it!”
“F-F…! Fath-F… ach! Father, I…”
Abel looked to be in pain, his eyes bloodshot.
He was not merely in a state of being unable to control his powers. He kept ripping his hair with a grimace, seemingly not even able to feel the pain of his hand burning.
