The endless strech of buildings, advertisement signs, pink,blue white colors flickering up. Down the balcony of the expensive penthouse in Tokyo, the traffic was endless.
The smoke slipped past her lips into the cold air.
"You was desperate to get Ethan and Rion out of assignment." Eric enters the balcony and takes a chair next to Astrid."You don't care about Ethan safety at all, the. Why are you protecting him?"
"I am not protecting Ethan. Not at all, he is not my priority."She inhaled smoke calmly and slowly "I am just keeping Francisco where he currently wants to be."
"You think they Will.....use him and Rion?"
"I know they will, You really think Elias needs two teenagers to keep his daughter safe?"
Eric gave a thought. He walks up and stands next to railing "why is Ethan choosen of the work? Why not me or anyone talented. Why a fraud?"
"I wish i could understand what Elias is planning. But he is surely upto something, i am about to find out" Astrid stood up "come on, let's eat dinner."
At balleni estate
"Where are you going? Balleni said you will teach us, white hair" Rion called out, fast walking to reach Giovanni Santoro before he leaves.
She was basically pulling Ethan without even looking at his hesitatating face
"We are going to train now? At the time to sleep? " Gioranni looked back
"So i will train you in morning at 4:00 am. During the, lily is asleep and we will have plenty of time to train before you will have to help her throughout the day" Said Georanni before he left in his car. Leaving both Ethan and Rion at the doorsteps of the estate.

Later:-
Ethan and Rion in thier shared room with two beds. Both was given a bed and thier personal belongings.
"Alright,so we have to train and babysit the girl. And what then? We will rescue that infamous Francisco balleni. The Mr cone guy?"
"I don't know , Rion. I don't understand, why we two were choosen. Instead of others. "Ethan changes into his nightsuit"A class assasins wouldn't even have a need to train. We are in C Rank class. First year also."
Rion also took of her shirt, not caring about what Ethan will see "we are getting money, plus free marks. Whatever "
Ethan looked away at the wall, suddenly the patterns seeming very beautiful. "Can't you change in bathroom?"
"What's wrong. You can take your shirt off in front of me, can't i?"
Meanwhile, somewhere at prison:-
Somewhere in a prison cell. A middle aged man eating ramen while watching sports news on TV. A guard nodded at the prisoner guarding the entrance and thus enters.
"you got a message ,Kane" Guard hands a paper to the middle aged Man
"A message? From whom" Kane calmly puts his chopsticks back at place very accordingly. He looks over at Guard and tilts his Head.
"Don't know. Warden gave up the letter to pass without question. I'll go back to my post"
After guard left, The cellmate of Kane walks in "what's the deal, boss?"
Kane reads the message and shakes his head with a hint of smile "well a inmate is being transferred here. Someone who owes us."
"And who's that?, panio?"
"I hoped seeing panio. But we got better. Francisco balleni is coming back. Tell the other three as well."
In morning :-
Ethan and Rion was running on treadmill with weight vests.
"Run faster kid's" Giovanni stood with arms crossed
Ethan got tired after a two minute marker. Meanwhile Rion was still pushing "come one Ethan , push your dumb ass if you wanna be my partner. "
Ethan legs gave up, his muscle was about to give up before he steps off the treadmill breathing heavily, While Rion ran about couple more seconds at her fullest before stopping.
"That's it? Kid. Just two minutes, hahahah. You are a weak ass bitch . Need a lot of training" Giovanni said.
Ethan takes a sip of water "sorry, I am trying "
"Oh, i can't. Atleast i tried, better then nothing." Ethan thought
"You are not, if you really wanna be strong, then it's not the best you are doing. " She picked him up , his legs trembling slightly.
"I won't save your ass just because I wanna spar with you at your best. I have better things to care off" Rion said before she moved in next training session. Without waiting for Ethan.
Following training session followed with Boxing and wrestling practice. And Ethan sucked at almost everything. He just wasn't fitting Right
After the training, both freshens up and starts with thier bodyguard duties.
Ethan and Rion stood outside kindergarten class of lily as they stayed silent awkwardly. Laughter of children came from inside, but the silence between them made more noise.
"Well the weather is good....."
"Don't 'weather talk' me, Ethan." Rion said firmly
"I am sorry, i was trying"
"I can see, I saw you trying. I didn't denied that. Problem is I don't see desperation." She lights up ciggerate in frustation but quickly crushes it after remembering she is in kindergarten
She turns towards him and stood next to him"I don't know what Francisco saw in you. I wonder if even choosing you as prey was worth it or not"
"I told you, I am not talented" Ethan says, trying to justify his performance. But Rion gave him rough push against wall
"It's not about talent, it's about desperation. You don't show it unless you don't have any escape. You ain't desperate enough to change"Rion now leaned even closer. Her face just inches away from his.
She continues "look in my eyes Ethan. I lack brain but i don't lack the heart. I want you at your best, when we spar. No excuses. Now lighten up, bitch. We have brat to take care off" she ruffled his head and stood back to her postion.
Meanwhile back in that same cell
Kane sat with a person with a scar running from his eye to all the way to his jaw
"So, Rex. They say Francisco is coming and I believe it's time we will see him again. Is everything ready?"
Rex cracks his neck and pulls out a knife out "everything is ready, Kane "
