Silence surrounded her...
Sera blinked.
Looked around.
Looked at the enormous bed.
Looked at Kael.
Looked back at the bed.
Then back at Kael---
Who looked entirely too pleased with himself!
For one long second, her mind simply stopped working.
Then it restarted---
And her first reaction was to feel for her sword!
This mother---!!!
"What have you done?!"
Her shriek echoed through the room as she started pounding on his chest. Not that it did much damage. Kael didn't even flinch, just watched her with mild annoyance.
And---
Disappointment?
As if this wasn't the outcome he wanted…
But Sera was too pissed to notice. Angerly, she pointed at the bed as if it had personally offended her, struggling to find words out of sheer rage.
"The bed!!!"
Kael glanced at it---
Then back at her…
"The bed?"
"YES!"
She exclaimed, stomping her feet since hitting his chest – which she was now convinced was made from solid rock! – only hurt her hands…
"The BED!!!"
