Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: My Friend's Mom

"Boss, my house is just up ahead!"

Genhai walked in front, leading the way with a bright smile, while Saiki and Shizune followed close behind.

Saiki was carrying some fruit and drinks; it was always poor form to visit someone's home empty-handed.

Despite being desk-mates, this was Saiki's first time visiting Genhai's house. It was a small two-story building, and surprisingly, the family ran a flower shop out of the front.

"Mom, I'm home!"

Even though he had spiky hair, Genhai lacked any sort of "protagonist aura" to attract girls. He was just a sunny, cheerful boy who shouted out his return the moment they reached the shop entrance.

"Welcome back!"

A gentle voice drifted from the back room. Soon, a beautiful woman with pale skin and her hair pinned up in a classic, elegant style walked out to greet them.

She wore a modest, long house dress, but the conservative cut did little to hide the graceful curves of her figure.

Seeing Genhai's mother—dressed so simply yet radiating a mature, alluring charm—Saiki's mind immediately drifted to those trashy tropes: the friend's mom, the lonely widow...

Saiki shook his head, feeling like he was losing his mind to even entertain such messy, wicked thoughts.

Tsunade was known as the most beautiful and powerful woman in Konoha, and Saiki was "baptized" by her presence every single day. The fact that this woman could still trigger such wild thoughts in his head was a testament to her outstanding beauty and temperament.

As Saiki was busy banishing these sinful ideas from his mind, Genhai happily introduced them.

"Mom, this is my boss, Saiki. And this is Boss Shizune."

Being introduced like that in front of a parent was incredibly awkward. It was one thing at school, but in front of an elder, both Saiki and Shizune bowed deeply in embarrassment. "Hello, Ma'am! We're sorry to intrude on you today."

Seeing their flustered state, the woman quickly waved her hands. "Oh my, it's no intrusion at all! Please, don't be so formal. Just call me Aunt Remi. Genhai talks about you two all the time! His father passed away early, and thanks to you looking out for him at school, he hasn't been bullied by the other kids."

"I've been telling Genhai to invite you over for dinner for ages, but you never came, so I haven't been able to properly thank you. I'm so glad you're finally here! Please, make yourselves at home."

She then turned to her son. "Genhai, take your friends upstairs to sit. Mom will have dinner ready shortly."

Genhai nodded and said to the two of them, "Alright! Let's head up to the second floor and relax, Boss. Food will be ready soon."

"Aunt Remi, this is for you!"

Seeing the fruit in Saiki's hands, Aunt Remi gave her son a mildly reproachful look. "You're already here as guests. Genhai, why did you let your friend spend his money?"

Genhai scratched his head helplessly. "I told him not to, but the Boss wouldn't listen."

Saiki smoothly intervened. "Aunt Remi, it's just some fruit! It wasn't expensive. We start our official duties tomorrow anyway, so please don't scold Genhai."

"Oh my, what a sensible boy you are. Your name is Saiki, right?"

Her voice was incredibly tender. As she looked at him with those gentle eyes—eyes that carried a subtle, captivating charm—Saiki felt a sudden jolt and quickly nodded.

"Yes, Aunt Remi. I'm Saiki!"

Looking at Saiki's handsome face and noting that he was half a head taller than Genhai, Aunt Remi's eyes lit up slightly. Seeing that he was still a bit stiff, she offered a warm smile. "Thank you for taking care of Genhai at school. You truly are a gentle and handsome young man, Saiki-kun."

Saiki felt like he hadn't checked his horoscope before leaving the house today; the sheer warmth of this woman was almost too much to handle.

Forcing a smile, Saiki replied somewhat awkwardly, "We're classmates, it's only right that we help each other out. I just never expected Genhai to have such a gentle and beautiful mother!"

He had intended to say, "Aunt Remi is very gentle and beautiful," but it had slipped out like that instead.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Saiki wanted to slap himself. Is that how you talk to a married woman?!

It sounded like he was openly flirting with her!

It's normal for a mother to praise you for helping her son, and it's fine to compliment her looks, but what did classmates helping each other have to do with whether her mother was beautiful or not?!

Sure enough, Aunt Remi froze for a second. Thinking about the context, there wasn't technically anything wrong with the sentence, but seeing Saiki's embarrassed expression as he realized his slip-up, she brought a slender hand to her cheek and chuckled softly. "Oh! Thank you for the compliment. You certainly have a sweet mouth, Saiki-kun."

Both of them felt the awkward tension, though the innocent Genhai and Shizune remained completely oblivious.

Desperate to break the awkwardness, Saiki handed over the bags. "Here you go, Aunt Remi!"

Whether by accident or design, as she reached for the bags, their hands brushed against each other. Feeling the cool, smooth touch of her skin, Saiki only withdrew his hand nervously once she had a firm grip on the items.

After she went into the kitchen, Saiki and the others headed up to the second floor of Genhai's house.

Noticing Saiki seemed tense, Genhai asked in confusion, "Boss, is something wrong?"

"It's nothing," Saiki said, shaking his head with a smile.

He could handle the overwhelming presence of the busty Tsunade with perfect calm, but the moment he encountered a beautiful widow—his friend's mom, no less—he lost his composure.

If he hadn't failed to sense any chakra from Aunt Remi, Saiki might have suspected he was caught in a Genjutsu.

After a moment of self-reflection, Saiki arrived at the truth: he simply had a bit of a "Cao Cao" complex. He had almost zero resistance against beautiful, gentle, kind-hearted older women and widows.

The only reason he could resist Tsunade's charm was that, despite her beauty, she was usually far too crass and violent.

Genhai's house wasn't large, but it was spotlessly clean, showing just how diligent his mother was. Even Genhai's usually messy room was tidy, giving him a chance to show it off to Saiki and Shizune.

Soon, the sky grew dark.

The diet in the Shinobi world was as bland as traditional Japanese cuisine, but thankfully, Aunt Remi was an excellent cook. The table was covered in various small dishes.

True to the style, each dish only contained a few bites, so calling them "snacks" wasn't entirely wrong.

Fortunately, Genhai must have warned his mother beforehand. Otherwise, Saiki would have been lucky to feel even a third full from tonight's meal.

"Sorry to keep everyone waiting. Let's eat."

Bringing out the final dish—a mushroom and chicken stew—Aunt Remi took a seat next to Saiki and offered an apologetic smile.

"Ah, it's no problem at all! Thank you for your hard work, Aunt Remi!"

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, they finally dug in.

Once they started, Saiki—who had been starving all afternoon—revealed his terrifying appetite. His stomach turned into a bottomless pit for the food.

He was highly focused when eating. While Aunt Remi managed to exchange a few words with Shizune, Saiki transformed into a silent eating machine.

Getting to enjoy such a lavish meal was rare for Genhai, so he joined Saiki in silent gorging, only speaking occasionally.

"Don't just eat one thing! Try these stir-fried oysters."

Watching her son and Saiki wolfing down the food, Aunt Remi considerately placed more food into their bowls, offering a happy compliment. "Saiki-kun, you really are amazing! Even Genhai's father was never this amazing."

Hearing that praise, Saiki nearly choked on his food. He screamed internally, Ma'am, could you phrase that a little better?! People are going to get the wrong idea! What do you mean 'Saiki is amazing, even Genhai's father wasn't this amazing'?!

Despite his internal panic, Saiki managed to force a smile and reply, "Thank you for the compliment, Aunt Remi. I just have a really big appetite!"

Clatter!

Without realizing it, Saiki's elbow bumped a soup spoon resting on the edge of the table, knocking it to the floor.

"Sorry!" Saiki apologized, bending down to pick it up.

"It's fine, I'll get it!" Aunt Remi said, also leaning down.

Thud!

Saiki heard a dull smack as their foreheads collided heavily under the table.

"Ah!"

Saiki had a tough skull, so he felt nothing, but Aunt Remi was a normal woman. The impact instantly made her dizzy and see stars.

Reaching down with one hand had already put her at an awkward angle; the sudden blow caused her to lose her balance completely, and she began to tip sideways.

"Aunt Remi!"

To Saiki, the bump was nothing.

He reacted instantly, shooting his arm out to catch her. However, he severely underestimated the physics of the situation. His own body was leaning out of its center of gravity.

When Saiki's arm wrapped around her shoulders to stabilize her, her falling weight dragged him sideways as well.

Screeech!

Their bodies tipped over, the chairs scraping harshly against the floor as they tilted.

Crash!

They hit the ground hard. Fortunately, Saiki managed to twist himself so he took the brunt of the fall, acting as a cushion.

However, an even more awkward situation followed. While Saiki had protected her from hitting the floor, he now found his face buried in something incredibly soft and heavy, and his hand was resting firmly on a pair of perfectly round, plump buttocks.

"Mom!"

"Saiki!"

The sudden, unexpected fall left Shizune and Genhai stunned at the dinner table, unable to process what had just happened.

Logically, such a ridiculous mishap shouldn't have occurred. However, mealtime was when Saiki let his guard down completely; he hadn't anticipated this at all, leaving his body without a reflexive response.

The fact that Saiki managed to react quickly enough to act as a human cushion for her was already impressive.

While shinobi possess great strength, one still has to factor in chakra. Even that knucklehead Naruto from the original story would constantly trip and fall due to careless mistakes.

Once Saiki lost his balance, his raw strength meant nothing without a solid foothold to leverage it.

Moreover, he wasn't particularly heavy. The shinobi world still abides by the laws of physics, so momentum instantly dragged him down to the floor.

Setting their bowls and chopsticks aside, Shizune and Genhai quickly scrambled to their feet.

"Mom, are you okay?"

Hurrying over, Genhai asked nervously as he saw his mother clutching her forehead with Saiki pinned right beneath her.

"Saiki? Saiki?!"

Saiki's entire head and upper body were completely smothered by the lady's expansive bosom; Shizune, unable to see his face, called out in a worried tone.

"I'm fine, please help me up," Remi-san said, clutching her forehead; if anyone had been paying attention, they would have noticed her neck and face flushing a deep crimson.

Pinned beneath her, Saiki was overwhelmed by a heavy sense of pressure, finding it difficult to even speak, let alone breathe.

With the help of Shizune and Genhai, the lady was hoisted back into a sitting position, and Saiki finally saw the light again. He had nearly been suffocated by those majestic peaks; he hadn't expected such a surging, hidden side beneath her modest, loose-fitting house dress—it was far more magnificent than he had imagined.

Having been frequently buried in Tsunade's deep cleavage, Saiki had mastered a unique skill: even without using his hands to measure, he could perceive and judge the sheer scale of such grandeur using only his face.

Looking at Saiki's somewhat dazed expression, Shizune asked with concern, "Saiki, are you alright?"

Shaking his head, Saiki replied, "I'm okay."

Glancing at Aunt Remi, who was sitting on the floor in a "duck sit" pose while still rubbing her forehead, Saiki asked somewhat awkwardly, "Auntie, are you hurt?"

Lowering her slender hand to reveal a faint red mark on her brow, Aunt Remi shook her head with a flushed face and replied, "I'm fine. Saiki-kun, are you sure you're not injured?"

"I'm fine, my body is in great shape!" Saiki responded with a grin.

The moment the words left his mouth, Saiki felt there was something slightly off about the phrasing, but fortunately, no one else seemed to notice.

After tidying up, they continued with dinner; however, what made Saiki a bit embarrassed were the slightly red face and shy glances Aunt Remi gave him as she served him more food. Saiki thought to himself, "I only squeezed a few times out of curiosity, surely she didn't notice!"

They finished their meal smoothly, and since missions were starting tomorrow, Saiki and Shizune didn't linger long. After saying their goodbyes, they headed home early. Normally, they should have celebrated their graduation with Tsunade tonight, but she had headed out again this morning on business.

For many, this was destined to be a long and difficult night. For the graduates who had successfully become ninja, the mixture of anticipation and dread for their new lives made it almost impossible to fall asleep.

That same night, Aunt Remi lay in bed all by herself.

Her husband had been gone for nearly eight years now.

Even the warmest blankets could not thaw her cold, lonely heart.

But tonight, Aunt Remi felt a burning heat within her.The thought of Saiki's hot breath on his chest, and the small hands that had already grasped his pert buttocks a few times, made Aunt Remi feel a surge of heat within him. The two places Saiki touched felt like they were on fire. Although he knew Saiki was just a child the same age as his son, and his heart was filled with guilt and remorse, his wife's hands still uncontrollably climbed up his breasts and explored his inner valley.

At night, the empty room echoed with suppressed moans, accompanied by heavy breathing.
