Damian gathered everything he can from the kitchen. Damian picked up the mace and started his hunt again. He felt more more energy in himself. Damian held the mace and started making his way out of the building. After reaching the exit while killing any monsters he encountered, he slowly took a peek outside from a window and froze, the campus is crawling with monsters. Damian took a deep breath, he grabbed the monster corpses from nearby and tried making makeshift bows or crossbows using alchemy, after spending almost all his mana, he made a makeshift crossbow using bone cubes gathered from alchemy, veins from the corpses, and the blood of the monsters along with the iron essence and steel gathered there. The crossbow itself is shining in red colour and had a bony white finish in some parts, there is no metal shine anywhere on the crossbow.

The arrow ripped through the head of the wolf piercing it all the way to other side, Damian smirked. He loaded another arrow and changed his location but his expression turned serious when he saw the monster in the binocular made scope. It's different from others, this wolf has good senses, it started looking around the moment one of it's pack died and even howled gathering all wolves around before barking a few times. Then the wolves spread out. Seems like a boss or elite monster.
Damian stayed silent for a few minutes trying to use alchemy to concot a poison for this elite monster, he mixed several monster bloods together and poured some pesticide and bug spray he found into the mixture. He don't know if this will be enough. He mixed them all together and concentrated the mixture, pouring some the tip of the arrows, he made a layer of this on them, Their grade immediately upgraded to E+ with increased poison effect though the damage decreased by half. He further modified the arrows until they gained piercing and poison effects, but the damage decreased to +5 only.
Damian prepared the crossbow and aimed it at the elite monster, unlike other wolves with ashy fur, this wolf has black fur with red glow in it's eyes. Damian aimed the crossbow at it's eyes, the range isn't much for the crossbow, maybe a 100 meters but that's all, After that it'll become inaccurate, fortunate for him, the elite wolf lay near the building, unfortunately this also means he needs to move immediately away from there if he doesn't want to be chased by a pack, this is regardless whether he can hit the target or not.
Damian released the arrow, the ears of the wolf twitched and before it can react, an arrow pierced into it's left eye going into it's head, it howled in pain and anger. It looked at the building and howled again, all wolves in the area gathered and rushed into the building, Damian smiled. He pulled a rope, immediately, the stairway collapsed, sharp objects are placed under the collapsed wooden staircase, along with the sides.
They're made from the demolished furniture, Damian strategy is simple, he will use these passages to create traps for the monsters which will roam into this building, he made traps before making a move. As a expected the stairs collapsed and the monsters fell on the sharp iron parts of the broken furniture. Some died while some barley survived.

Some level 2 and level 3 wolves died because of the trap. And Damian levelled up once again. Another howl sounded, the wolves stopped for a second and started avoiding the staircases, they started looking for other ways like trying to get into the building through the other ways, climbing walls by jumping from the nearby supports like beams, statues, small concert builds etc.,
Damian took his chance to aim at the elite monster once again, it's already looking pale, a side of it's face where the arrow lodged started swelling and turning red. Seems like the poison started working, Damian fired another arrow from a different floor.
This time the arrow didn't head it's head but pierced into it's back and directly half lodged into it's chest. It roared in pain, but Damian isn't done. Before other wolves can get near it to provide protection, he skillfully launched some arrows. The wolf got pierced in it's other eye writhing in pain thrashing around. It died after a few minutes due to the poison.
