Chapter 43: Heading to Spirit Hall

Douluo: Dugu Bo's Life Simulator

Dugu Bo did not take Meng Yiran to hunt a spirit beast.

That was because her third spirit ring had already been prepared.

It was the remaining Thousand-Year Green-Eyed White Python.

Due to its excellent bloodline, Dugu Bo hadn't killed it before. Instead, he captured it and kept it imprisoned inside his cave dwelling.

It had been confined in a secret chamber all this time. Now that Meng Yiran had broken through, it was the perfect moment to use it as her spirit ring.

The little girl successfully advanced to Level 31, obtaining her first thousand-year spirit ring.

At dawn the next day, when the sky had just begun to glow with pale light—

Dugu Bo was already on his way to Spirit Hall.

He wore a brand-new black robe, completely different from his usual attire.

Though the robe was made of black fabric, all its edges were trimmed with luxurious golden silk, making it look extraordinarily noble.

A massive golden python, embroidered entirely with gold thread, coiled across the robe, further enhancing his imposing presence.

Even Dugu Bo—who usually appeared rather unkempt—had tied up his long dark-green hair with a crown.

As the saying goes: Clothes make the man.

With this transformation, along with his now youthful face, he looked like an elegant, peerless nobleman.

Yet his tiger-like stride added a hint of unruly freedom to his demeanor.

A Titled Douluo coronation ceremony was no small matter.

It was a grand event, not just for an individual, but for the entire continent.

As the central figure of the ceremony, it was only natural for Dugu Bo to pay attention to his appearance.

As for the two girls—

He left them behind at the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.

Even though the simulation showed no danger during this trip, Dugu Bo knew that outcomes in the simulator were only one of many possibilities.

Reality might not follow the same path.

So, he chose not to take any risks.

Would the girls be in danger?

Not at all.

With the poison array he had set up, almost no spirit beast could enter the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well.

Moreover, he had already informed Meng Shu and Chao Tianxiang.

The two would soon arrive to protect them.

The Meng family resided in Heaven Dou City, and with their strength, it wouldn't take long for them to get there.

Having arranged everything—

Dugu Bo sped toward Spirit City at full speed.

Spirit City was located between the Heaven Dou Empire in the north and the Star Luo Empire in the south.

Flying through the air at the speed of a Titled Douluo, he left Heaven Dou City's borders in mere moments.

His black robe fluttered wildly in the powerful winds, everything around him rapidly falling behind.

By noon—

He had already arrived outside Spirit City.

Standing atop a small hill, Dugu Bo gazed at the magnificent city built upon the mountain.

Compared to Heaven Dou City, Spirit City was smaller—

But far more awe-inspiring.

Its towering walls, nearly 80 meters high and over 10 meters thick, were built entirely from solid granite.

This city hadn't existed originally—it was constructed entirely by Spirit Hall.

The effort required was unimaginable.

Even more unique—

The city wasn't square, but hexagonal, with six massive walls.

Each wall bore a giant relief, identical to the emblem of Spirit Hall, representing six powerful martial spirits.

Patrolling atop the walls were all spirit masters, dressed in Spirit Hall uniforms.

Dugu Bo descended and approached the city gate on foot.

Although flight was restricted in Spirit City, Titled Douluo were exempt.

Still—

He wasn't here to cause trouble.

Entering the city, the atmosphere felt vastly different from the bustling Heaven Dou City.

It was quieter. More solemn.

The streets had fewer people, and most shops catered specifically to spirit masters.

Even storage-type soul tools were available—though of lower quality.

At the center of the hexagonal city stood a mountain.

On it were two striking structures.

Halfway up the mountain stood a grand, golden building—

With pillars, a domed roof, and a radiant exterior that shimmered under sunlight.

This was the Pope Hall, where the coronation ceremony would be held.

Above it, though smaller, stood the most supreme place within Spirit Hall—

The Worship Hall.

Because of these two structures, Spirit City was known as the Holy Land of Spirit Masters.

Dugu Bo quickly moved through the streets and ascended the steps toward the Pope Hall.

Soon—

He reached its entrance.

"Stop."

Two silver-armored temple knights blocked his path.

At once, a hundred knights raised their swords in unison.

"This is a restricted area. Take one more step, and you will be executed."

Dugu Bo remained calm.

"I am here to receive my Titled Douluo coronation."

His voice wasn't loud—

Yet it clearly reached every knight present.

Their expressions immediately changed.

After a brief moment of shock, the leading knight stepped forward respectfully.

"Your Excellency, please proceed to the council hall and wait. We will inform Her Holiness the Pope and the honored elders."

No one would dare joke about such a matter.

The moment Dugu Bo declared his purpose, they addressed him as "Your Excellency."

As the knight led him toward the council hall, he asked respectfully,

"May I know your name, martial spirit, and title?"

Dugu Bo said nothing at first.

He merely glanced at the knight.

The knight's face turned pale as he quickly explained,

"Please don't misunderstand, Your Excellency. This is required for the coronation record. Your information will be sent to all branches across the continent."

Only then did Dugu Bo's expression ease.

He spoke calmly:

"Dugu Bo. Martial Spirit: Jade Phosphor Serpent Emperor. Title—Poison."
