Chapter 11
"THE BOW OF ETHEREAL MADNESS?". They question as they move closer to Viola where she was in sitting on the bed. She then informs them that she felt that she wasn't in this world to which Lucius replies to her that she was in her sea of consciousness. Lucius then urges her to narrate what happened.
She then began to narrate how she saw some figure but was unable to communicate with them and how she was taken to her past memory with Anthony and how after that she saw the bow with a Voice telling her to pick it up to which she followed the instructions of the voice.
As she says this Lucius looks on thoughtfully and looks at Sir Bradford "This sounds like the 13 locks curse". "What's that?" Viola asks as she looks at Lucius.
Lucius then goes on to explain that the 13 lock curse is a curse that can only apply to the direct lineage of the Seraph Royal line as this curse locks up 13 most powerful things in the life of the Royal Seraph and these things can be weapons, elemental control and the likes and that only a particular memory can unlock the curse place upon her.
Viola then asked that what were the things that were locked in her, Lucius in response to her tells her that in order for him to know he has to examine her body through his spiritual power. He then instructs her to turn her back to him to which he places his hand on her back and channels his inner spiritual power into her, as he searches his eyes widen and he retracts his spiritual power.
"It seems that 10 of your element powers are still locked by the curse while your fire and wind power were free from the curse but I can't tell how" he says this with a confused look on his face. Viola then question what she is meant to do about her locked elements to which Lucius informs her that her parents must have put this curse upon her for a purpose and when the time has comes for her to break the curse it will be broken. Saying this he leaves her in the room with Jamie while he signals to Sir Bradford to follow him out of the office.
They both exit the office to which sir Bradford remarks "I will protect her Highness with my life as I have a debt to repay to her father" saying this he bows respectfully to Lucius and makes his way out of the office.
Viola and Jamie in the other room converse with each other as Viola apologies for the troubles and Jamie also apologies that because of his ignorance she was endangered. She then chides him that even she was unaware of he situation more less him that she just acquainted with today. They laugh and talk as Jamie narrates how he felt a chills run down his spine when Sir Bradford laughed. He says "Whenever I see that iceberg again I will never be able to look him in the face". Viola on hearing this laughs and mocks Jamie for always landing in unfortunate situations.
As they were laughing a figure burst into the room and crashes into Viola on the bed. Viola on seeing the face laughs and says "Janice stop crying like I am dead. I'm still alive and cute". Janice snickers and sits up on the bed. Her eyes catches the bow and she gladly admires it.
Lucius looks at them through a space in the door and smiles to himself as her mutters "They are going to make a change.... I can feel it". He closes the door and opens the door to another room where a old and shriveled Seraph laid on the bed he smiles lightly and says "It has been long my old friend...…"
