Having successfully secured the Killing Stone, Tsuna swiftly departed Belit Babili.
He made his way to the top of the city walls, standing quietly in the shadows as he waited for a specific individual.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Sawada Tsunayoshi."
A short time later, Fels arrived at the rendezvous point.
Tsuna had used his Oculus to contact Ouranos beforehand, explaining Ishtar's plot to annihilate the Freya Familia, the existence of Haruhime's [Level Boost], and the horrific details of the Killing Stone. Fully grasping the severity of the situation, Ouranos immediately dispatched Fels to retrieve the evidence.
If Tsuna had simply marched into the Guild with the Killing Stone in hand, it wouldn't just draw unwanted attention to himself—it risked exposing Haruhime's incredibly rare magic to the public. If that happened, it was practically guaranteed that violent, power-hungry factions would try to kidnap her by force.
Ever since the incident at the Grand Casino, Tsuna had made a habit of carrying the Oculus to immediately share critical information with his allies from his world. That habit had paid off perfectly.
"…Is that the Killing Stone?" Fels asked, eyeing the red jewel in Tsuna's right hand.
"Yeah."
Tsuna held it out, and Fels carefully took it.
"Still, I must admit I was completely stunned when Ouranos told me… I never imagined you would launch a solo assault on the Ishtar Familia's headquarters…"
"Sorry… I just couldn't stomach what they were doing."
"There is no need to apologize. The fault lies entirely with the Goddess Ishtar for ordering an unprovoked ambush in the Dungeon."
Under normal circumstances, violent conflicts between Familias were strictly prohibited. However, given the horrific nature of the conspiracy, Fels had no intention of reprimanding him.
"In fact, the Guild has been struggling to properly deal with the Ishtar Familia for some time now… Thanks to you, we finally have the leverage we need."
"What do you mean?"
"A while ago, another faction officially accused the Ishtar Familia of falsifying their dependents' Levels. The Guild launched a full investigation, but we found absolutely nothing. Shortly after, the Goddess Ishtar utterly destroyed the Familia that accused her and demanded massive reparations from the Guild for the insult. Ever since that incident, the Guild has been unable to take a hard stance against them."
"If they used Haruhime's magic to temporarily [Rank Up] during the investigation, then yeah, unless you knew about the magic beforehand, you'd never find any evidence," Tsuna reasoned.
"Exactly. But with this, we can finally indict the Ishtar Familia. I will make immediate arrangements for the Ganesha Familia to move in."
"No, don't use the Ganesha Familia," Tsuna warned. "Ask the Loki Familia to handle it."
"Why the Loki Familia? The Ganesha Familia's forces are more than sufficient to handle them."
"Ishtar had an allied Familia working with her. I ended up fighting them too. Two of their Amazons were at least Level 6."
"Two Amazons… Don't tell me, the Kali Familia!?"
"The Kali Familia?"
"They are a state-sponsored Familia operating out of a nation called Telskyura. They force their own dependents to engage in brutal deathmatches against each other."
"—!?"
Tsuna was left completely speechless, horrified to learn just how sickeningly twisted the faction he just fought truly was.
"Through those murderous rituals, they produced two Level 6 adventurers without ever stepping foot in the Dungeon. Their sheer strength is why they are considered one of the major powers in the world."
"…Are they part of the Evilus?"
"Their practices are certainly abhorrent, but no, they are not affiliated with the Evilus."
"I see…"
And yet, he fought two Level 6 combatants simultaneously and returned completely unscathed…
Fels was deeply shaken, once again reminded of just how utterly anomalous Tsuna's strength was.
"But if the Kali Familia is indeed involved, then requesting the Loki Familia's assistance is the correct move…"
Knowing that two Level 6 anomalies were present, Fels agreed that only the Loki Familia possessed the overwhelming firepower necessary to guarantee their capture.
It was then.
"What is that…!?"
"It's burning…!?"
A massive inferno suddenly erupted, painting the night sky in brilliant shades of orange and red.
"That's coming from the Pleasure Quarter… Who in the world could be…!?"
"The only faction capable of something on this scale is the Freya Familia…!"
The Loki and Ganesha Familias certainly had the military might to crush the Ishtar Familia, but neither would ever employ such indiscriminately destructive tactics. The only logical conclusion was that the Freya Familia had launched a full-scale invasion.
"Don't tell me they found out about the Ishtar and Kali Familias' alliance and decided to strike first…!?" Fels muttered in disbelief.
It was common knowledge that every single dependent of the Freya Familia harbored a terrifying, fanatical devotion to their Goddess. Fels concluded that they must have caught wind of Ishtar's plot to harm Freya and mobilized their entire military force to eradicate the threat at its roots.
Suddenly, a colossal pillar of pure, blinding light pierced the heavens, erupting from the center of Ishtar's territory.
"A pillar of light…?" Tsuna asked, staring at the sky.
"The Deportation of a God!? Has Ishtar truly been sent back to Heaven!?" Fels gasped.
"So that's what that is…"
It was Tsuna's first time witnessing a God being forcefully sent back to Heaven, and he found himself briefly captivated by the majestic, tragic beauty of the ascending light.
"But the forced deportation of a God is a severe crime…" Fels muttered, his voice trembling slightly beneath his robe.
"Yeah… It seems the situation escalated far beyond anything we anticipated…"
"…Looks like my efforts were pointless in the end," Tsuna sighed.
With Ishtar deported from the lower world, her Falna was completely sealed. Her dependents had instantly lost all of their superhuman abilities, reverting to the strength of ordinary humans. They had completely lost the means to fight the Freya Familia. Inadvertently, this guaranteed that Bell and the others would no longer be targeted, and Haruhime was entirely safe from being sacrificed.
"Not at all," Fels countered. "If the Guild utilizes this Killing Stone, it becomes the ultimate bargaining chip against the surviving members of the Ishtar Familia. We can offer them a deal: if they wish to avoid being banished from Orario, they will swear absolute silence regarding everything that transpired here. This ensures the Killing Stone ritual is never spoken of, and your true capabilities remain completely hidden from the public."
"I'm sorry… but that's a huge help," Tsuna smiled tiredly.
"There is one more thing. A message from Ouranos."
"What is it?"
"King Martinus of Rakia, along with their patron God Ares, have issued an immediate recall order to all of their troops scattered across the continent."
"—!?"
Rakia was a warmongering nation currently engaged in multiple conflicts globally. For them to suddenly recall their entire military could only mean one thing: they were preparing to launch a massive invasion on Orario. And that meant the enemies from Tsuna's world, who had allied with them, were likely coming as well.
Tsuna immediately realized that a massive crisis was bearing down on the city.
"So they're finally making their move…"
"Has Reborn discovered anything regarding the individual who created those rings?"
"No. Honestly, I don't think even Reborn knows who it is yet."
"I see…"
"Also, regarding those negotiations you mentioned…" Tsuna added, shifting the topic back. "Speak with the Amazoness named Aisha. She has the respect of her Familia and keeps a level head. Honestly, negotiating with their Captain is a complete waste of time."
"[Antianeira], is it…? Understood. I will ensure the aftermath is handled smoothly."
With their business concluded, Fels turned and disappeared into the shadows, heading toward the underground altar to deliver the Killing Stone to Ouranos.
