A uniquely styled restaurant with a sign featuring a giant axe crossed with a chain blade. At first glance, the style felt very rugged. On the crossed axe and chain blade were four large words: Kratos's Restaurant.
Fujino, who had originally planned to head back, was attracted by this shop and suggested they try it out.
Alice had no objections, and the restaurant looked quite good, so she was also somewhat interested. Arcueid, who now considered herself Fujino's wife, agreed without hesitation. Needless to say for Illya, Little Cang Yue, and Cthulhu. Even Kazahana agreed after a brief hesitation, though her gaze remained fixed on Fujino. On the way, Alice had told Arcueid many things, and Kazahana had been listening on the side. When she heard that her teacher was just one of Fujino's lovers, her gaze toward Fujino became very strange.
Being stared at by Kazahana with a strange '220' look all the way, Fujino didn't feel much of anything. After all, she was Touko's disciple, so she was practically one of her own~
Maybe before long, she would be completely hers~
Thinking of this, Fujino couldn't wait to see what kind of expression Kazahana would have then. It would surely be very interesting, wouldn't it? But before that, she couldn't rush—she had to take it slow~
The group walked into the restaurant. The interior was very spacious, but at this time near nightfall, there were few people. In fact, there was no one at all. But that was normal; the glass of the restaurant's kitchen was transparent, allowing one to see the chef inside at a glance. He was a two-meter-tall giant, half-naked, with somewhat pale skin and red tattoos. His muscles were terrifyingly powerful and easily recognizable to the naked eye. Just one look gave off a powerful sense of oppression, especially his bald head, which took that aura up a notch. When seeing the chef's face, someone without a certain level of strength and a strong mind might not even be able to stand steadily, let alone eat. It wasn't that he was ugly; on the contrary, combined with those powerful muscles, there was a special kind of beauty—an explosive beauty, perhaps? But for dining purposes, anyone without sufficient strength would feel like they were being crushed by a great mountain just by looking at that face, making it hard to breathe. No wonder there was no one during what should have been a busy period.
"Welcome." A little girl walked over. She was about ten years old but already quite beautiful, wearing a white dress and having long black hair. It wasn't hard to see that she would be a beautiful young woman in the future. However, as this little girl looked at the group, a surprised expression appeared on her face. Clearly, she was very surprised to see anyone coming in now.
After all, the little girl knew the situation in the shop very well. Everyone who walked in would be'scared' by her father, the chef, to the point of being unable to eat and fleeing in a panic. Of course, it wasn't that there was no one at all; there were about a dozen or so regulars. The little girl remembered them clearly: a few beautiful sisters and some very handsome brothers. Among them, the one the little girl remembered most vividly was a red-haired giant named Iskandar. Every time he came to the shop, he would invite her father to join him and conquer the world together. Although her father rejected him every time, that red-haired giant never tired of it and would invite him every single time he visited.
Looking at Fujino and the others, the little girl knew for sure she had never seen these beautiful sisters before. She thought these sisters must be powerful like the others, seeing as they didn't walk out of the restaurant upon seeing her father's appearance, but instead kept smiles on their faces. Even the little girls behind them were the same. At this moment, the little girl's curiosity was through the roof.
"Aren't you going to lead us to a seat?" Fujino's voice interrupted the little girl's thoughts.
"Ah! Sorry!" The little girl finally realized she had guests to attend to and hurriedly led Fujino and the others to a table. The table was very beautiful, with small Runes carved along its edges—those were cleaning Runes to keep it tidy. Furthermore, the material of the table was unusual, emitting a faint fragrance. This fragrance didn't have a strong scent, but when inhaled, it made the body relax involuntarily, making one feel pleasant.
"This is truly a wonderful place," Fujino praised softly. Alice and the others nodded in agreement; with their keen perception, they could easily see what made this restaurant unique.
"Thank you!" Hearing Fujino's praise, the little girl revealed a beautiful smile.
"By the way, I don't know your name yet?" Illya walked up to the little girl with a sweet smile. "My name is Illya."
"Hello, Illya. I'm Calliope," Calliope said with a smile. A flash of white light passed through her hand as she produced a menu made of an unknown beast's hide and handed it to Fujino. Then, she took out a smaller menu, handed it to Illya, and smiled. "This is the dessert menu. Illya, you can have whatever you want; it's my treat today."
"Really?!" Illya appeared very happy, her beautiful red eyes sparkling with a dazzling light.
"Of course," Calliope nodded vigorously. "The desserts my two mothers make are super delicious!"
"Two mothers?" Illya's red eyes filled with confusion as she looked toward the burly giant behind the glass.
The burly giant had noticed Fujino and the others before they even entered. They were strong. His intuition told him that several of these beautiful girls were no weaker than the gods of destiny. He felt a deep sense of threat, especially from those cute little girls. If they hadn't shown any hostility, he would have stopped them the moment they approached his daughter.
But now, seeing that very cute little girl—who seemed to have become his daughter's good friend—looking at him with such a strange gaze, even he, a man who wouldn't flinch before the gods, felt an impulse to hide.
"Alright, it's impolite to stare at others like that," Fujino spoke up to instruct Illya.
"I understand," Illya nodded obediently, then gave a slight bow toward the giant behind the glass. "I'm sorry, Uncle."
As Illya's gaze shifted away, the sensation in the giant's heart dissipated. Looking at Illya apologizing to him, he quickly waved his rough, large hand and forced a slight smile.
"Father, you'd better not smile; it's quite scary," Calliope said crossly to the giant. Having finally made such a cute friend, Calliope didn't want her best friend to be scared off by her father.
The giant's body stiffened instantly. He pressed one hand tightly against his chest, his prominent bald head hanging dejectedly. Being told by the daughter he considered his precious little angel that his smile was scary, the giant felt a chill in his heart, as if it were about to shatter into pieces.
Ignoring her father's strange behavior, Calliope smiled and said to Illya, "My father is just like that. Don't mind him, Illya."
"What is Uncle's name?" Illya asked curiously, blinking her red eyes.
"My father's name is Kratos," Calliope replied with a smile.
