Light stood perfectly relaxed, his hands resting casually in his pockets. He looked at the giant, venom-drenched monster, entirely unfazed by the toxic fumes filling the corridor.
"You're a loyal dog to a rotting government, Warden," Light spoke calmly.
"Your soul is clean enough."
"Bnd you are standing in my way."
"My duty is absolute!" Magellan roared. The purple sludge on his shoulders violently expanded into the three massive heads of the Poison Hydra.
"You will not leave this prison alive!"
Magellan thrust his arms forward. The three colossal heads of the Hydra lunged, filling the width of the corridor with a tidal wave of lethal acid.
Light Yagami was a different person than he was yesterday.
He perceived the world differently now.
He casually raised his right hand and violently channeled his Armament Haki—directly into the air in front of him.
Emission.
An invisible, impossibly dense wall of pressure erupted from Light's palm. The three heads of the Hydra slammed into it with a deafening CRASH.
The purple sludge violently splattered outward, hissing and bubbling, but it couldn't advance a single millimeter past Light's weaponized willpower.
Magellan's eyes widened in profound shock. "Haki of that level..."
Light clenched his raised hand into a fist. The invisible wall violently expanded forward like a shockwave, shattering the Hydra completely and blasting the purple venom back toward the Warden.
KRRRSSSH.
Magellan slammed his feet against the floor and braced himself, slid backward across the wet stone.
"If standard venom cannot breach your armor," Magellan hissed, the purple sludge rapidly turning a sickening, luminous crimson red.
"Then... you can only die!"
"Kinjite: Venom Demon!"
The colossal, skeletal red demon rose from Magellan's back, radiating an apocalyptic heat. Magellan swung a massive, red-coated arm directly at Light.
Light's Future Sight flared.
He saw the arc of the red poison, saw the splash radius. He sidestepped with precision, the red venom missing his shoulder by inches and entirely melting the stone wall behind him.
Then.
'No more testing.'
Light drew his saber. The steel hissed, a terrifying aura of black Haki igniting along the edge.
The true battle for Level 6 had begun.

[ LEVEL 5 — THE FREEZING HELL ]
While the foundations of the Eternal Hell trembled under the clash of titans, a desperate vanguard tore through the howling blizzards of Level 5.
Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji sprinted ahead, completely ignoring the biting cold. Behind them followed a battered but unyielding army: Bon Clay, Buggy, Mr. 3, Bonney, and dozens of heavily armed Okamas led by Ivankov and Inazuma.
The Emporio Healing Hormones coursed through their veins, giving them immediate stamina needed to reach his Ace.
"You should've taken more rest!" Ivankov shouted over the roaring wind.
"If we can stand, we can run." Sanji quipped from ahead.
"If we can run, we can fight!" Zoro finished.
But as they approached the final, massive archway leading to the descent stairs, the blizzard suddenly seemed to darken.
The ambient light of the corridor was swallowed up, and a suffocating, oppressive feeling settled over the area.
"ZEHAHAHAHA!"

Standing in the center of the archway, completely blocking their path, was a massive, hulking figure.
He wore an unbuttoned shirt exposing a hairy chest, a dark captain's coat, and a tricorne hat. A cruel, missing-toothed grin was plastered across his face.
Behind him stood a crew of four equally terrifying, bizarre individuals.
The deep, rumbling laugh echoed through the Freezing Hell, completely drowning out the blizzard.
"Well, well, well!"
"If it isn't Straw Hat Luffy!"
Marshall D. Teach—Blackbeard—cheered, spreading his arms wide. A thick, inky blackness radiated from his hands, seemingly devouring the light around him.
"It's been a while since Jaya! ZEHAHAHAHA!"
"I see you are making a mess of this place!"
Luffy skidded to a halt, his sandals carving deep grooves into the ice.
He stared at the massive man. The pieces clicked together in his exhausted mind as he remembered the newspaper articles.
"You..." Luffy whispered, his voice trembling with a sudden silence.
"You're Blackbeard..."
"...the one who..."
"ZEHAHAHA!"
"THAT"S RIGHT!"Teach laughed, slapping his large belly.
"Say, I was originally planning on taking your head to become a Warlord!"
"But look at your luck! ZEHAHA!"
"Your brother tracked me down first! Ace put up a hell of a fight, I'll give him that! But in the end, my darkness swallowed his fire!"
Luffy's eyes completely vanished beneath the shadow of his straw hat.
And then.
ZOOM.
"Armor!"
A shadow appeared directly in front of Blackbeard, its fist pulled back and coated in a desperate, furious layer of Armament Haki.
"Gomu Gomu no... "
It was Luffy.
"JET... "
"PISTOL!"
BAAAM!
The strike slammed directly into Blackbeard's massive gut.
Teach's eyes bulged in absolute shock. The sheer force lifted the colossal pirate entirely off his feet.
ZZZZZ.
CRASH!!
Blackbeard coughed up blood, crashing backward into the ice.
"Captain!" Jesus Burgess yelled.
"ZEHAHAHA! Stay back!" Teach groaned, pulling himself out of the rubble. Because of his Yami Yami no Mi, he absorbed twice the normal pain, but his cruel grin quickly returned.
"Stronger than I expected, Straw Hat!"
"But..."
Teach thrust his hand forward.
A massive vortex of absolute, crushing darkness erupted from his palm.
"Kurouzu! (Black Vortex!)"
An irresistible gravitational pull suddenly seized Luffy's body.
VOOOOM!
The rubber boy thrashed but was violently dragged through the air.
""LUFFY!""
Teach grabbed Luffy by the throat, but before he could slam him down, Zoro and Sanji launched themselves forward, coating their legs and swords with black armament Haki respectively.
Watching this, a glint flashed in Teach's eyes.
'These two too... '
He had more important matters to handle right now.
Teach quickly tossed Luffy aside and step back.
"Hold on! ZEHAHAHA!" Teach suddenly yelled, holding his hands up defensively.
"Settle down, ok?! I don't have time to fight with you right now."
"I have an appointment on Level 6! I'm here to recruit some new crewmates!"
"ZEHAHAHAHA! Why don't you join my crew, Straw Hat?"
Flanked by Zoro and Sanji still in a defensive position, Luffy pushed himself up from the ice.
"I don't care what you want."
"I'm going down there to save Ace."
"Out of my way."
Teach chuckled, though the sound was slightly hollow.
"ZEHAHAHAHA!"
"Sure!"
"We both have our own business at the bottom of the abyss. Let's see who gets what they want first!"
Luffy didn't wait. He didn't care about revenge right now. He only cared about the ticking clock.
He sprinted past the Blackbeard Pirates, throwing himself down the dark, spiraling stairs leading to the Eternal Hell, his crew closely watching Blackbeard pirates followed behind.
Teach watched them go and immediately followed up.
"Boys! Let's join the party!"
"ZEHAHAHA!"
"ZEHEHAHAHAHA!"

[ LEVEL 6 — THE ETERNAL HELL ]
For the last quarter of an hour, Level 6 had been a battleground.
Light Yagami danced around the catastrophic splashes of red Kinjite venom. His newly awakened Future Sight had rendered him completely untouchable.
Every time Magellan swung the skeletal arms of the Venom Demon, Light was already two steps away, returning fire with massive, hyper-compressed crescents of black Armament Haki.
Magellan was bleeding heavily, forced to pour more of his stamina into the Kinjite just to hold his ground against the sheer weight of Light's strikes.
Light was gaining the undeniable advantage, easily dismantling the Warden's defenses while familiarizing himself with the dizzying sensory overload of Level 4 Observation.
It was this time.
When the guests arrived.
