Chapter 14 - Future Plans

After Senba returned home, he sat cross-legged on the sofa and thought of his next plans.

First was the immediate task: learning the remaining four Genjutsu.

The essence of genjutsu is to interfere with the opponent's chakra flow, influencing their five senses through precise chakra control, which was exactly his area of expertise.

With his current MAX-level Chakra control, his speed in learning would be ridiculously fast, and he could master them in a week at most.

Senba opened his eyes and felt the chakra within him.

A B-rank chakra capacity was already comparable to an ordinary Chunin, and he was only six years old this year. As he grew older, his reserve would continue to increase.

By the time he graduated from the Ninja Academy, his chakra capacity should reach B+ or even A-. Combined with the Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, and Medical Ninjutsu he would master... his overall strength evaluation should reach the Jonin level.

Senba's eyes flickered slightly. Having Jonin-level strength upon graduation was something unheard of.

But he knew very well that this was still far from enough. Jonin were also divided into different ranks.

Ordinary Jonin, Elite Jonin, Kage-level—the gap between each level was sometimes even larger than the gap between Genin and Jonin.

Limited by age and physical development, in three years he would be an ordinary jonin at most, and it would be impossible to reach the level of an elite jonin.

Chakra capacity could be increased through the system, but physical fitness, reaction speed, and combat experience all required time to accumulate; in short, it couldn't be rushed.

'After graduating from the Ninja Academy and becoming a Genin, the system would issue rewards again,' Senba thought.

At that time, his strength could be further improved, and then entering Konoha Hospital to work and holding a departmental position would be another reward.

Two rewards would be enough to patch up many of his shortcomings. Thinking of this, the corners of Senba's mouth curled up slightly.

With the system in hand, his future was promising!

But strength alone was not enough; he needed a solid foundation and a group of reliable people.

That was why he set his sights on Minato.

The future Fourth Hokage and the legend of the Yellow Flash had already been won over by him.

Tomorrow he would bring him Ninjutsu scrolls: the Shadow Clone Jutsu and a C-rank wind release. Once he learned them, he would find opportunities to teach them more.

Senba's fingers tapped lightly on his knee. Minato's future signature techniques were the Flying Thunder God Technique and the Rasengan.

He already knew the Rasengan; as for the Flying Thunder God...

This space-time Ninjutsu was developed by the second Hokage, Tobirama, and later popularized by Minato.

The way to obtain it was by accumulating merit through completing S-rank missions and then exchanging them for the ninjutsu recorded in the sealing techniques.

Jiraiya could help Minato in exchange for the flying thunder god because he was a Hokage student and had sufficient authority.

As for Senba... his elder uncle was Uchiha Kagami, a student under the Second Hokage.

Although Kagami was dead, the relationship still existed. If he went to ask the third hokage, for Kagami's sake, Hiruzen would most likely grant him a favor.

Besides, if he showed amazing talent in medical ninjutsu and became Tsunade's student, she would also speak up for him when the time came.

By then, even if Minato became Jiraiya's student, he would still be Senba's friend.

Senba narrowed his eyes slightly. He didn't need to demand repayment for his favors; favors lose value if used too much. What he wanted was true trust and heartfelt recognition.

Minato was an emotional guy who always gave his heart and soul to his friends. As long as he were his friend, he wouldn't worry about getting backstabbed.

As for the position of Hokage... Senba's gaze fell on the moonlight outside the window, his eyes gradually deepening.

The Second Ninja War was about to break out soon and would last for many years, causing countless ninjas to perish on the battlefield.

But in this war, it was impossible for Hiruzen to resign. He was in his prime, his prestige was at its peak, and Konoha had not lost to the point where he needed to step down.

The real opportunity lay in the Third Ninja War. By then, Hiruzen would be old, and the pressure of war and internal conflicts would force him to abdicate.

As long as Senba accumulated enough merit during the war to become the strongest candidate, Minato would inevitably support him.

As for the other candidates… the corners of Senba's lips curled up slightly; Konoha's darkness would help him eliminate them.

The controller of Konoha's dark side, Shimura Danzo, would stop at nothing to achieve his goals in becoming the Hokage. He would definitely make a move.

As long as Danzo acted, he would leave traces. When the time came, Senba wouldn't even need to take action; the other Hokage candidates would be eliminated by him.

Hatake Sakumo, Orochimaru... with Danzo Shimura around, it was impossible for them to become the Hokage.

"So, work well, Danzo. I'll let you live a little longer.'

Senba stood up to walk to the window.

The current priority was to increase his strength as much as possible within three years, learning more Ninjutsu and mastering it.

He had to learn medical ninjutsu and genjutsu, and he also had to practice Uchiha-style swordsmanship. Once the ninja sword was in his hands, he would have to set aside time every day to practice swordsmanship.

'I also lack combat experience.' Senba frowned.

This shortcoming needed to be addressed soon. The practical combat classes at the Ninja Academy were too mild and served no purpose for training.

Perhaps he could go find Tsunade?

Although she was a gambling addict, her strength was indeed formidable. Sparring with her occasionally should allow him to accumulate a lot of experience.

Or... find Uchiha Setsuna?

That radical had failed in a rebellion; his strength should not be weak. Having lived in isolation for so many years, he must have had plenty of time to ponder Ninjutsu and combat techniques.

Thinking this, Senba turned and walked toward the study. Those few genjutsu scrolls were still lying quietly on the desk.

He picked up one of them and unrolled it under the lamp. A B-rank genjutsu that makes the opponent feel as if they are pinned by metal nails, completely losing their ability to move.

Senba looked at the text on the scroll and began to study it seriously.

Compared to using the Shadow Clone Jutsu to study while he slept, it would be better to study until tomorrow morning and then sleep, letting a Shadow Clone go to the Ninja Academy.

At least this way, he wouldn't have to endure hours of feedback after the clone dispersed. The impact of those memories was still a significant burden for his current self.
