"Haaaaaa!"
I wake up with a frantic jerk, looking left and right. Total darkness fills the hut, so I quickly turn on my phone's flashlight. It's only been an hour since I passed out.
Opening the door, I see the fire I started before losing consciousness has already burned out. I head back inside the hut and inspect my body.
A sticky, thin layer of goo covers my skin and when I take a small amount to smell it, an awful stench instantly assaults my nose.
I glance around the room and thankfully spot a covered metal container in the corner, filled to the brim with water.
I carry it outside and quickly take a shower behind the hut. At the same time, I heighten my senses. Even though I'm prepared, I still can't help but feel nervous about what the ghost would look like.
After showering, I return inside and put my clothes back on. Though a faint strange odor still lingers on my body because I didn't use soap. However, it's significantly better than before.
