"Little Lis Little Lis Ah! Honestly, wake up, Little Lis~"
Who am I? Where am I? Didn't I just get carried back home by the knights to rest in bed?
Artorius forced his eyes open against a throbbing headache. He was greeted by a serene plain blooming with vibrant, colorful flowers. The only thing obscuring his view was a distant forest; there were no fences, no buildings, and no houses. The sunlight was warm, the breeze cool and gentle, carrying with it what sounded like the playful laughter of fairies hiding by forest springs—yet it also bore the heavy, blooming scent of midsummer.
A pair of small hands covered Artorius's eyes from behind. Then, a petite, soft, yet surprisingly well-endowed body pressed against his back. The girl's hot, moist breath tickled his earlobe.
"Guess who?"
"Knock it off."
With an exasperated expression, Artorius pulled the soft, delicate hands away from his eyes and turned his head. He saw a face of peerless beauty. With snow-white hair and violet eyes, her skin was flawless, and her features were arranged with such divine precision they seemed like a masterpiece of the gods.
Even though he had looked at this face for over a decade, and even though he had just seen her the previous night, seeing her again so suddenly and at such close proximity made Artorius freeze for a split second. Then, he let out a weary sigh.
"Teacher."
"How mean! Little Lis is cheating!"
Merly pouted aggrievedly, looking as though she were about to burst into tears—like a child throwing a tantrum because her father wouldn't play a silly game with her.
"How am I cheating? Teacher, you play this 'guess who' game with me at least ten times a month. Not only is your voice exactly the same, but you press your entire body against me. It would be a miracle if I didn't guess it was you."
"I don't care, it's still cheating!"
Watching Merly roll around on the grass, Artorius let out a heavy sigh. Who did I offend to deserve this? During the day, he had to coax Artoria; at night, he couldn't even get a peaceful night's sleep because he was dragged into a "dream" to keep coaxing his teacher.
"Fine, fine. I was wrong. I'm sorry, Teacher. From now on, I'll play the game seriously. No more 'cheating'."
"You promise?"
"Yes, I promise."
Seeing Merly's mood improve, Artorius immediately changed the subject. "Teacher, didn't you say the Selection Ceremony was starting and there would be no more lessons? Why did you suddenly pull me in here?"
"Oh, that. I mainly wanted to ask... Little Lis, do you really not want to try pulling the sword?"
"I don't," Artorius said firmly.
"I see. That's a real shame then. I went through all that trouble to create such a wonderful opportunity for you."
"An opportunity?"
"Mhm. I'm the one who suggested your foster father send you to the town to find Artoria."
Merly looked into Artorius's eyes with anticipation. She didn't need to say more. Given Artorius's intelligence, she knew he would understand exactly what she meant: I knew the Saxons would attack the town, and I intentionally sent you there without armor.
Disappointment? Agony? Rage? Just imagining the normally gentle Artorius making those expressions made the corners of Merly's mouth curl in delight.
"I see."
"Eh?"
Watching Artorius lie back lazily on the grass, Merly blinked. "You're not surprised?"
"Surprised by what? I guessed it the moment I saw the town on fire. Under normal circumstances, why would my foster father send me to find Artoria? He could have sent any squire for a job like that."
Teacher is a handful. This was a truth Artorius had grasped within days of meeting her. Between Artoria and Merly, his life was a constant cycle of managing trouble-makers.
"Of course, I also considered it might have been an accident. After all, Artoria and I almost died this time."
"Then aren't you angry?" Merly tilted her head. It was strange—she didn't see any of the negative emotions she craved in Artorius's eyes. All she saw was resignation and... pity?
Is he pitying me? Why would he pity me?
"A little."
"But you don't look angry."
"Because I knew the moment I saw you, Teacher..."
Teacher wasn't human. Not in a spiritual or emotional sense. Artorius could feel that Merly's focus was driven solely by "pleasure." If it meant a bigger laugh, this woman would likely send him and Artoria to their deaths without a second thought.
"Teacher, if you want to find entertainment in the future, just come to me. Leave Artoria out of it."
He liked her. From the moment he first saw her, Artorius knew he had fallen in love. Of course, he was also painfully aware that he didn't deserve someone like her.
"And what if I do involve Artoria?" Merly teased, adding, "And what if something happens to her?"
"Then I'll probably be very sad. And after that, either I'll die, or we'll both die together."
A gentle breeze blew past. Merly blinked. She didn't fear death; on the contrary, she was quite curious about how she would eventually end.
"Teacher, you wouldn't want to run out of entertainment in the future, would you?"
"That is true."
Suddenly, Merly leaned forward and pinned Artorius to the ground. Her white hair fell over his face, tickling him. Her soft, full body pressed against his chest with absolutely no regard for modesty.
"Little Lis, you've wanted to sleep with me for a long time, haven't you?"
"..."
"I've known since the first moment I saw you. Your eyes were filled with a lust you couldn't even begin to hide."
Merly smiled and wrapped her arms around Artorius's shoulders, her cherry-red lips brushing his ear as she blew a warm breath. "It's okay, you know~"
Artorius felt like his head was going to explode.
"If it's you, you can do whatever you want to me," Merly whispered, rubbing her soft cheek against his. "From this moment on, you can have me whenever you want. My body is your toy. Everything I am belongs to you."
Take me. And then, fall completely and hopelessly in love with me.
And then, one day in the future, when you are deeply in love with me and you learn of your sister's death—and you find out it was my doing—what will you do then?
Just thinking about the agony, rage, and desperate roar of "Little Arthur" in that moment filled Merly with exquisite joy.
Let us die together in the most extreme form of love!
Ah, just thinking about it now is making me climax from the excitement! Come on, take me, my dearest Little Arthur~
