Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The Boar and the Princess

As a suffocating pressure that sent the warhorses into a frenzy drew closer, the realization dawned on everyone: they had encountered a Phantasmal Beast. These formidable creatures, born of Mystery and wielding innate magical arts, were far beyond what any ordinary steed could withstand. The horses began to bolt in terror, their ranks scattering in an instant.

Artorius dismounted decisively. He noticed that while his pure white foal, Dun Stallion, was clearly afraid, the creature leaned into him with a striking, near-human sense of loyalty. This only deepened his conviction that the foal was anything but ordinary. In the forest beyond, deer, tigers, and even black bears were fleeing in a mad panic. Seeing the "King of the Jungle" tremble in such a manner made even the veteran knight commander, Bart, feel his scalp go numb with dread.

Then came the deafening sound of snapping timber. The culprit finally revealed itself—a wild boar the size of a small mountain. Its hide was covered in pitch-black bristles as sharp as rapiers, and its eyes glowed a malevolent, blood-red hue. The Demonic Boar let out a roar and charged, launching the needle-sharp quills from its back like a rain of arrows. In a heartbeat, several armored knights were pinned to the spot, dead before they could even scream.

The convoy's morale collapsed instantly. The boar locked onto its target and barreled forward, a living siege engine aimed directly at Guinevere's luxury carriage. Watching the soldiers and knights in its path being torn asunder like ragdolls, Bart realized he was too far away to intervene. He could only let out a roar of absolute despair.

At that critical moment, a silver silhouette flashed into the boar's path.

"Lis?!" "Young Master?!"

Bedivere and Moore shrieked in unison. Artorius hadn't even drawn his sword. Instead, he met the mountain-sized monstrosity—capable of shattering ancient oaks—with nothing but his bare hands.

The tragedy everyone expected didn't happen. Following a dull, heavy thud, Artorius's hands slammed against the boar's forehead, locking it in place. His feet plowed into the earth, carving furrows several meters deep until his heels finally caught against the edge of Guinevere's carriage, anchoring his weight.

Man and beast were locked in a dead heat right in front of the carriage door.

Bedivere's jaw dropped in disbelief. Moore, who had been prepared to throw his life away, froze where he stood. Bart stared at the blonde youth as if he were looking at a monster, his heart hammering against his ribs. How is this possible?!

Artorius's feat of "stopping a truck with his bare hands" shattered the worldviews of everyone present. To intercept the full-force charge of a mountain-class Phantasmal Beast while unarmored and without a blade was no longer the mark of a "promising talent"—it was the realm of true heroes.

Inside the carriage, Guinevere must have felt the violent shock. Would you like me to translate Chapter 16 to see how Artorius finishes off this beast and how the Princess reacts to her savior?
