Chapter 119 - Chapter 119: a new civilisations

The cold, heavy darkness of the subterranean labyrinth finally broke as Cipher and Temi Nova emerged onto a massive, high-altitude ledge. The air outside was thin and bitingly cold, but the jagged, claustrophobic walls of the multicolored diamond cave were finally behind them.

"We are finally out," Cipher said as he stretched his body, his joints popping loudly after hours of navigating the tight crystal tunnels.

Temi Nova stepped up beside him, her sharp eyes scanning the vast, open horizon of the planet.

"Yeah, now we just need a space ship," Temi nova said .

A confident, slightly mischievous grin broke across Cipher's face. He reached into his tactical vest pouch, pulling out a metallic capsule no larger than a standard communication device.

"Yeah, that's why I came prepared," Cipher said.

He stepped back, clearing a wide radius on the flat stone ledge. With a smooth flick of his wrist, he dropped the small device onto the ground. The moment the capsule struck the rocky surface, a blinding flash of blue kinetic energy erupted. The mechanical components unfolded violently, expanding and multiplying in volume as a dense structural frame materialized out of thin air, rapidly assembling into a sleek, compact two-seater scout ship.

Temi's eyes widened in genuine astonishment, her jaw dropping slightly as she looked from the freshly manifested vessel.

"Wow, how did you get that and why didn't you bring it out sooner," Temi said, gesturing wildly at the fully functional spacecraft parked on the ledge.

Cipher rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks flushing slightly but his voice carrying the proud tone of a mechanical engineer.

"Well back on earth I built it secretly and shrinked it just in case, secondly I didn't have any fuel, but it turns out this cave crystal can actually fuel it, so it took time to convert it to fuel and so I decided to find an exit," Cipher said, pointing toward the ship's rear propulsion matrix, which was glowing with the unmistakable, brilliant pink hum of the processed diamond crystals he had harvested inside the cave.

Temi smiled, her initial shock melting into a look of deep admiration.

"You really are full of surprises," Temi said, her voice soft and warm.

The direct praise immediately broke Cipher's composure. Cipher began to blush, a deep crimson color painting his ears as he cleared his throat and quickly turned toward the ship's primary boarding hatch to hide his face.

"Ok let's go," Cipher mumbled quickly, punching the entry codes into the console as the canopy slid open, allowing them to climb inside and escape the high-altitude winds.

High above the planetary rings, the silver Xenocides spaceship cut through the dark void of space, its stabilization thrusters firing rhythmically.

Suddenly, a violent crimson alarm light began to flash across every single monitor on the flight console. The entire structure of the vessel groaned, a massive, invisible force slamming against the outer hull with the weight of a dying star.

The steering matrix locked up entirely, the nose of the ship violently tilting downward toward an unmapped, dense celestial body nested deep inside the core layers of the moving planet.

The ship was crashing down; something was pulling it. A planet gravitational force was pulling it.

"Shit what's happening," Nyx said, as she gripped the back of Kiki's chair.

"We are going to crash, Kross do something," Elias said, as he clamped his hands onto the secondary structural restraints.

Kross's fingers flew across the keyboard in a desperate blur, sweat dripping from his grease-smudged chin as the navigation joystick violently resisted his movements.

"I'm trying, like I said I ain't the brain guy," Kross shouted over the deafening roar of the atmospheric entry alarms. "Well, looks like we are gonna crash and let's be clear this is not my fault".

Kahn stepped up behind him, bracing his heavy legs against the floor plates to manual-override the auxiliary engine vents. "This is no time for jokes"

"Shit I can't die now," Mira Ice said, her hands freezing the metallic armrests of her seat solid.

"Relax we aren't gonna die," Kiki said, though her own knuckles were white as she clutched her safety harness, trying to maintain her compusure

"Isn't there an escape pod," Elena said, .

Kealen shook his head grimly from the secondary terminal. "Yeah but the pod will also get dragged by the gravitational force if we eject.!"

BOOM!

The silver spaceship breached the final cloud layer, tearing through an artificial atmosphere before skidding violently across a vast, sandy plain.

The landing gear snapped instantly under the immense friction, sending the ship tumbling through a series of massive, crystalline dunes. Metal tore from metal, throwing up a colossal wave of white dust and sand before the main fuselage finally came to a complete, grinding halt inside a deep, subterranean basin.

The primary emergency hatch hissed open, releasing a cloud of white cooling steam into the foreign environment. Elias was the first to step out onto the hull, his boots sinking slightly into the pale, shimmering sand. As the rest of the crew scrambled out behind him, their expressions shifted from panic to absolute disbelief.

They weren't in a barren wasteland. Spread out across the massive basin was an entire, sprawling civilization of aliens. Towering spires made of polished blue stone and translucent glass rose from the sand, interconnected by floating bridges and glowing energy aqueducts. Thousands of extraterrestrial figures stood along the perimeters of the architecture, their eyes fixed on the crashed vessel.

Just as the Xenocides were about to move, a lone figure descended from the nearest floating platform, hovering gracefully down to the sandy floor.

The alien possessed a majestic, slender build with iridescent, deep blue skin that seemed to shift color under the light. Four crystalline eyes rested on his face, and he wore a ceremonial robe woven from pure light fibers.

"Hello there, I am -Thal," the alien said, his voice carrying a harmonic, echoing resonance that translated perfectly through the atmospheric frequencies. "And we are called the Astrons."

Elias stepped forward, lowering his hand away from his weapon belt to signal peace. "I'm Elias. Wait you speak our language"

"Na, we all have fixed in our suit" Kross muttered, kicking a piece of ruined metal trim off his boot. "Your planet's gravity grid completely crashed our ship."

"Oh I understand" Elias said as he put his hands into he's pocket.

Nyx stepped up beside Elias, her eyes narrowing as she scanned the surrounding alien spires. "Are you hostiles? Because if this is an ambush, we've got enough firepower left to make things very complicated for you."

"Lower your voice, Nyx," Elena whispered. "This doesn't look like they are trying to ambush us or anything."

Lyra looked around"wait , looks like their planet is in one piece ".

"She's right," Kahn said,

Mira Ice crossed her arms. "Ok, enough let's not forget we are running out of time "

"Yeah, you're right we really need a new ship," Kiki said, flashing a cheerful wave toward a group of smaller Astron children watching from a distance.

Kealen kept his eyes on -Thal. "You knew we were coming, didn't you?"

-Thal bowed his head slightly, his four crystalline eyes blinking in unison. "We did not know your names, travelers, but we knew the moving world would eventually deliver souls of defiance to our valley. Come. You are survivors of the sky. We offer you our shelter."

The Astrons welcomed them with hospitality that the battle-weary crew had not experienced since leaving Earth. They were led through the majestic blue stone spires into a massive, open-air ceremonial pavilion.

There, the aliens had prepared a massive feast. Long tables made of polished quartz were piled high with exotic, glowing subterranean fruits, deep-sea star-flora, and crystal carafes filled with a shimmering, nutrient-rich liquid that restored their drained physical strength instantly.

As the crew sat together, the initial tension completely dissolved into a loud, frantic conversation.

"Okay, I don't know what this blue fruit is, but it tastes exactly like fried chicken," Kross said, stuffing three of them into his mouth simultaneously.

Elias smiled, taking a small sip before looking at the head of the banquet table. "We appreciate the food, -Thal, but we are running out of time. This planet is on a collision course with our home."

Lyra nodded, placing a half-eaten star-fruit down.

"We need to know where the central power core is."

"He's right,we need a new ship and a way to locate the core," Elena stated.

"Damn it," Mira Ice murmured, her glass clicking softly against the stone table.

The chatter instantly ceased as the heavy quartz doors at the end of the hall swung open. Walking slow and majestic into the pavilion was the ruler of the Astrons—the Emperor. He was a towering, ancient figure whose iridescent skin had faded to a deep, dark silver color, his robes woven from dark cosmic matter, and his face bearing the heavy scars of ancient orbital wars.

The crew stood up out of respect as the Emperor took his place at the apex of the banquet hall. His four eyes looked down at Elias's sliver eyes, recognizing the raw evo- energy residing within the young fighter.

"Welcome, visitors of the distant blue world," the Emperor spoke, his voice sounding like the deep vibration of shifting tectonic plates. "I am Emperor Sol-Varn. I see the fire of battle in your spirits, and I know why your vessel was dragged into our horizon."

"Emperor Sol-Varn," Elias said, stepping forward. "We are trying to stop this planet from destroying Earth. We need to reach King Malkor."

The Emperor let out a long, hollow sigh, the light across his royal robes flickering dimly as he looked out over his sprawling, beautiful city.

" We you have to prove to me you are worth my time"
