The explosion of light didn't destroy;it unveiled. As the amber pillar shattered, the oppressive, heavy air of the Elder Wood vanished, replaced by a breeze that smelled of jasmine and ancient sunlight. The membranes of the chamber dissolved into crystalline leaves, and the golden sand turned into a lush, violet grass that hummed beneath her palms.
Beside her, the "Yesterday" girl stood tall. She was no longer a fading ghost or a hollow reflection. Her skin glowed with the same lilachue as the bracelet, which had now fused into the protagonist's skin, appearing as a delicate, glowing mark rather than a piece of metal.
"The serpent was the Wood's fear," the girl said, looking up at the canopy. The trees were no longer gnarled claws; they were pillars of living light, thier branches reaching towards a sky that was now a deep, vibrant indigo. "It kept the Heart locked away to protect it from the world outside, but it only ended up starving the forest to death."
The protagonist stood up, feeling a strange, new strength in her limbs. The forest wasn't just breathing—it was singing. Every lead, every root, every stone was part of a grand, harmonious choir.
"Is the door still there?" she asked.
The girl pointed toward shimmering archway made of woven white vines." The door has changed. It no longer leads back to where you came from. It leads to where you you are needed."
As they walked towards the archway, the once-terrifying Elder Wood bowed. The " hunt" was over. The forest was no longer a trap; it was a sanctuary. But as they reached the threshold, a new sound echoed from beyond the white vines—a mechanical clanking, sharp and discordant, coming from the world outside.
The "Needed" world was under attack.
