Erica: (leaning over her desk) "Did you see Ruby's new robot head? It's like something out of a sci-fi movie!"
Ruby: (adjusting her glasses, proudly) "It's not just any robot head! It's a TV head! I can stream shows on it! Who needs a TV when you have a robot?"
Lavi: (rolling his eyes) "Yeah, but can it do your homework for you? Because that would be impressive."
Louis: (flipping his hair dramatically) "Homework? Pfft! I'd rather watch Ruby's robot do a dance-off with Tara's cat."
Tara: (smirking) "My cat would win. She has moves that could outshine any robot!"
Chloe: (giggling) "Only if your cat doesn't fall asleep halfway through the performance!"
Zoe: (leaning in) "Speaking of performances, did you hear about the substitute teacher coming in today? I heard he's a magician!"
Max: (raising an eyebrow) "A magician? What's he going to do, make our grades disappear?"
Finn: (snickering) "Or make himself disappear when he sees our homework!"
Jake: (grinning) "I hope he can pull a rabbit out of a hat. I could use a pet."
Heist: (leaning back in his chair) "I just hope he doesn't make us do any 'magic tricks' with our assignments. I'm not ready for that kind of pressure!"
Sam: (chiming in) "As long as he doesn't turn us into frogs, I think we'll be fine."
Lily: (giggling) "Imagine if he did! We'd have to hop our way through the rest of the year!"
Ava: (smirking) "I'd be the best frog in class. Just watch me leap over all the tests!"

8:00 AM - The Classroom Door Opens
The door swings open, and in walks Mr. Hocus, the substitute teacher, wearing a bright purple suit and a top hat. The students stare in awe.
Math teacher Mr. Hocus: (with a flourish) "Good morning, class! I'm Mr. Hocus, your substitute teacher for today! Are you ready for some reason?"
Erica: (whispering to Ruby) "This is going to be epic!"
Ruby: (nodding) "I hope he can make my robot head come to life!"
Mr. Hocus: (waving his wand) "Now, who wants to see a trick?"
Louis: (raising his hand) "Can you make my hair even more fabulous?"
Mr. Hocus: (chuckling) "I can't promise that, but I can make this pencil disappear!" (He waves his wand, and the pencil vanishes.)
Tara: (gasping) "Whoa! How did you do that?"
Mr. Hocus: "A math lesson never reveals his secrets! But I can teach you how to do a trick of your own!"
Chloe: (excitedly) "I want to learn! Can we make our homework disappear too?"
Mr. Hocus: (grinning) "Only if you promise to bring it back later!"

As the class erupts in laughter, Mr. Hocus begins to teach them simple magic tricks. The students are fully engaged, forgetting all about their usual routine.
Zoe: (trying to balance a coin on her elbow) "I'm going to impress my parents with this one!
Max: (attempting to pull a card from behind his ear) "I hope it's not a bad grade!"
Finn: (laughing) "If it is, just make it disappear!"
Erica: (to Ruby) "This is way better than math class!"
Ruby: "Agreed! Who knew a substitute could be this fun?"

As the bell rings, signaling the end of the period, Mr. Hocus takes a bow.
Mr. Hocus: "Thank you for being such a wonderful audience! Remember, magic is all around you; you just have to believe!"
Jake: (grinning) "Can you come back tomorrow?"
Mr. Hocus: "I'd love to, but I have to go make some more magic elsewhere. Keep practicing your tricks!"

Erica: "I can't wait to show my parents what I learned!"

Tara: "And I'll bring my cat! She'll be the star of the show!"
