I bit my lip as the pain intensified. I looked around and realized I was in a decent place if the world was ending. Their was a bathtub right there. I climbed in and tried not to scream as Benjamin and Dylan fought outside. I'd scream when Dylan won. I couldn't distract him.
I gripped the bathtub until my knuckles went white. I grabbed a hand towel and bit down on it. After a minute, contractions started. I struggled not to scream as tears rolled down my face. I wanted Dylan by my side, but more than anything, I wanted my mom here. She was always so calming.
I groaned and bit down harder on the towel. I heard somebody drop to the floor and prayed it was Benjamin. Somebody knocked on the door, and I gripped the bathtub walls harder. I heard Dylan start speaking from outside, and I struggled to listen.
"Allaris, are you alright? The threat is gone now. Benjamin is out cold. Do you need anything?" Dylan asked. When I didn't respond, he put his back against the door and slid down. "I understand you're scared. I am, too. I just want you to know that he won't hurt you again. I know you won't want me to, but I'm kicking him out. He is too dangerous."
He paused for a moment, and another contraction started. I screamed into the towel, but he must've heard because he jumped up and the door flew open. He saw me, and his face went pale. He ran to my side, grabbing a clean towel and placing it over my stomach and legs.
"It's okay. You'll be alright. I've got you." Dylan was saying, but I couldn't hear him anymore. I heard my heartbeat in my ears, and I felt the pain of a child ripping their way through me. I started screaming frantically, as if I was being attacked. I was gasping for air, screaming my lungs out, when Dylan put a hand on my shoulder and shook me. "Allaris! Calm down! I'll take care of you! Trust me." I took a deep breath and nodded. "How far apart are your contractions?"
"Maybe three minutes." I replied, trying to keep my breathing steady.
"Okay, when I count to three, I need you to push."
"I'm scared." I said, grabbing his arm. My nails dug into his skin, but it seemed he didn't even notice.
"I've got you. I won't leave. I'll be right here the entire time." Dylan replied. He waited a moment before my contractions started again. "Three, two, one! Push!"
I groaned as I felt the baby move outwards a little more. I dug my nails into Dylans arm, and he winced gently. My contractions stopped about a minute later, and I took a breath. When the next contractions hit, I groaned again and cried as I pushed. After a few hours, the baby came, and it was the scariest moment of my life.
Dylan cleaned him up and gave him to me. I looked at his tiny body as he wailed in my arms, and I couldn't help but cry with him. He was so small. He held onto my finger like a lifeline as he calmed down, and I noticed his hair. It was blue. This was Benjamin's child as well.
"What should we name him?" I asked Dylan.
"He isn't my child. You should get the honor of naming him." Dylan replied, but he looked destroyed at his own words.
"Dylan, he is your child. He is our child, biologically or not." I replied. "Will you be this child's father? Will you help me raise him?" I asked.
"Of course I will." Dylan replied, his eyes watering as he started to cry as well. "We should name him Leo, short for Leonardo. That was my grandfather's name on my mom's side. He helped raise me when she couldn't afford to feed me or bathe me."
"That's perfect." I replied. "Our little Leo."
After a few days, I was completely healed because of the miracle pills, and Leo was screaming his little heart out almost every night. I breastfed him and changed his little diapers every few hours. Dylan was very helpful as well. He cooked and cleaned the house, rocking Leo to sleep when he was done cooking.
"Allaris." Dylan started after it had been two weeks since Leo's birth. "I've been thinking, the medicine healed you, and I kicked Benjamin out that day, so we have nothing to worry about right now." He moved closer to me and started taking off my clothes slowly. "Maybe we could have a little fun while the baby sleeps?"
I kissed him gently as we folded ourselves in the blankets. He slid my pants lower, and I slid his off completely. He pushed me against the bed as he I served himself, and I moaned quietly. My face burned as I grabbed his ass and pulled him deeper. He reached his head down and kissed my neck, over and over.
We lost track of time as our bodies heated up in the cold room. We engulfed each other in our own body heat until we ran out of energy. We collapsed after a few hours, out of breath. I laughed as he wrapped arms around me. We fell asleep like that, and it wasn't until the next day that I realized just how far we went.
I looked at my neck and saw hackles running all over it. My body ached with pain, but I loved it. Every time I took a pill, my body reverted back to its shape as a virgin. It gets tight, and it hurts like the first time, every time. Dylan goes gentle until my body isn't as tight anymore, but it is still affected.
I collapsed on the ground as pain inveloped my legs. I tried to walk to the bathroom, but my body was in too much pain. I crawled there instead and got changed while I was on the toilet. Then I realized the pills that healed me, also sped up my period, because I had it.
I put a tampon on and left the bathroom. I grabbed a new pair of Dylans sweatpants and shirt and got into those instead. I didn't have underwear or bras, so I just used Dylans clothes. That worked out with a tampon, but not with pads. Laid down next to Dylan again, and he wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Are you okay, baby?" He mumbled, just waking up.
"Yeah. It's just my period. It came early because of the pills." I replied.
"Okay. I'll make you some soup for lunch. Are there any requests for breakfast?"
"Hashbrowns, eggs, and toast, please." I replied and smiled as he emidiantly rose to go make it for me.
"Okay. I'll be right on it. I'm just going to check on Leo first because he didn't wake us up last night."
I followed Dylan to Leo's room, and I smiled at the tiny creature in his little crib. Leo was awake and rubbed his eyes. I picked him up and walked with him to the storage room on the first floor. I found a baby carrier and put it on. It made life so much easier.
I brought Leo back into the kitchen, and I heard banging on the front door. Somebody was trying to get in. I walked back into the main bedroom and opened the door a crack. There was a terrified looking guy outside, and he wasn't alone. Benjamin was holding a knife to somebody's throat, and he demanded to get inside. I screamed and backed away. He walked in with the boy, and I ran to him. He looked very unique. His hair was white as a ghost, and his eyes were the brightest blue I'd ever seen. They were even bluer than mine.
"Are you alright?" I asked. "Who are you?"
"I'm Tristan. I'm eighteen. I was by the basement door when Benjamin came I side demanding I come with him. When I refused, he held a knife to my throat and brought me here. He said this is our new home now."
I grew furious as he spoke, and I turned to a cocktail looking Benjamin. He was staring at Leo with a horrible look in his eyes.
"That's my baby. What did you name him?" Benjamin asked.
"Leo, and he isn't your baby. Genetically, he is, but there are no laws anymore. You don't have rights here. You don't have parental rights either, so get out." I replied, and Dylan entered the room. As soon as he saw Benjamin, he flipped out.
"I kicked you out for assaulting Allaris. You have no right to be here. Get out!" Dylan screamed.
"I don't think so because I have this guy here, and he has a little problem." Benjamin said.
"What? What's his problem?" I asked, turning to Tristan. "Tristan, what's wrong?"
"I used to be friends with Ben in middle school. I told him about my disorder, and he left me. I have a condition where I black out and do whatever I want. I can't control it and I can't remember it." Tristan said, getting emotional. "And Ben said that you would be my type. He said that I'd falk in love with you in no time, and you'd be my new target."
I gasped and looked at Dylan. He was angry. He grabbed Tristan by the throat and started choking him, pushing him up against the wall.
"She already has me. Leave before that happens, or I'll kill you." Dylan said.
I screamed and pulled Dylan off him. I turned to Tristan and said, "That won't happen. You wouldn't fall in love with me because I'm not very likable." Then I turned to Dylan. "I'm not going to let you hurt, Tristan. It's not his fault. I'll never let you hurt him, but Ben is free game. You catch, you kill, I don't care."
"Tristan, you can stay here, but I can't promise you friendship. If you fall in love with Allaris, we are enemies." Dylan said.
"It's too late. I think I already love her." Tristand said, blushing and staring at the floor. Benjamin, Dylan, and I all gasped in unison. This was not seriously happening.
