Chapter 51: Thor Begins to Change
Hearing Lan Xingyu's words, Thor's eyes lit up. He looked at Tony with a face full of longing.
"Forget it, I'll just open a door for you!" Lan Xingyu said, waving his hand to open a Teleportation Gate.
Watching Thor run over like a simpleton, Lan Xingyu couldn't help but sigh. As expected, he hasn't been beaten down by society yet. This scene would pass during the day; he'd probably get rubbed the wrong way from a distance by Hawkeye.

"Yes, exactly. It's Asgard's spatial technology, the Bifrost Bridge. Or what you call the Einstein-Rosen Bridge," Lan Xingyu gave them a definitive answer.
"That's great! I knew my research wasn't wrong," Jane was overjoyed.
"Your research? How far have you gotten? Are you interested in a collaboration? Stark Industries is very happy to work with scientists like you who dare to discover and explore the unknown." Tony also became interested. No wonder Lan Xingyu didn't hide certain secrets; he must have deduced something.
Thinking of Lan Xingyu's non-human deduction skills and seeing this female scientist's research, Tony reached a conclusion in his heart.

Afterward, the two groups gathered for lunch. During the meal, Tony, Erik, and Jane chatted about high-end topics. Although the others couldn't understand, it felt very impressive.

"Jane, Jane, this matter is more complicated than you imagine," Erik said.
"So you're robbing Stark Industries' property? You're not showing any respect for this consultant!" At this moment, Tony walked in and spoke to Coulson.
"We just reached a collaboration. Now she is a Stark employee, and this equipment also belongs to me," Tony added.
Now it was Coulson's turn to be frustrated. What was this? He really couldn't afford to provoke Tony's group, especially since the Director had just invited him to become a special consultant for S.H.I.E.L.D. yesterday.

"Thank you. I know this is an opportunity. And thanks to your help, otherwise I might have had to start all over again!" Jane said gratefully.
Seeing Jane's group depart, Lan Xingyu asked Tony, "Tony, when did you become a special consultant for S.H.I.E.L.D.?" Lan Xingyu asked curiously.
"The afternoon you went to Asgard. That Cyclops came to invite me to join them. After all, it was founded by my father. So I agreed."
"Oh! Then let's find a hotel to rest for a bit. I'm getting sleepy," Lan Xingyu said.
"Hmm, that's fine. Let's see what specialty hotels are nearby. But aren't you worried about that Thor? Doesn't he have no Divine Power right now?" Tony said.
"It's fine. He really needs to experience some failure. We can just go pick him up tomorrow," Lan Xingyu said.

By the time Lan Xingyu woke up, the sun was already setting. Feeling his stomach growling, Lan Xingyu got out of bed and went to the living room. Seeing Tony and Pepper leaning together watching TV, Lan Xingyu felt a bit depressed at the immediate display of affection. He decided to turn his frustration into an appetite and had the hotel staff buy all the New Mexico specialties they could find.
Lan Xingyu perfectly embodied the spirit of a foodie, launching an attack on those specialties. Just then, a heavy rain suddenly began to fall.
Lan Xingyu vaguely sensed the aura of Mjolnir. It must be Thor going to try the hammer with Jane's help.
But clearly, he failed. Loki should be going to chat with his brother, who was as silly as a Husky, soon. It seems the plan is going smoothly.
Since they were in a hotel, Lan Xingyu couldn't play games. After dinner, he watched TV with Tony and Pepper.

But Lan Xingyu didn't know their conversation was overheard by Coulson. At Jane's request, Coulson had agreed to let Thor approach Mjolnir. Although Thor didn't lift it, Coulson had seen the energy fluctuation recorded by the machines when Thor tried.
