"Owner! Today I'm sleeping with Owner!"
Xana wagged her tail excitedly as she followed him, completely ignoring the mermaids who watched her with distrust before guiding her to her assigned room.
"Not today, I want to be alone," Cassian replied in a flat voice.
Xana pouted in response, though her eyes shone with a sharper trace of suspicion. Meanwhile, Thalassa had already said goodbye to the duo some time ago; she had been assigned a room long ago, as when she was chosen as Lumia's master, they made sure she had every comfort there.
"You're not running away from a fight… right?" Xana looked up at him with suspicion and insisted.
He closed his eyes and shook his head in amusement. He gave her a light caress on the head and entered the room without saying goodbye, leaving Xana to turn around resignedly and head toward her own room.
When Cassian's bedroom door closed completely and he had barely had time to relax…
"Master!"
An excited Xingyue threw herself into his arms, rubbing her face against his chest with euphoria.
"Xingyue…" he replied, feeling helpless against her.
She let out a laugh.
"Master, did you miss me? You did, right? You MUST have!"
Cassian lowered his head and looked at her in silence. The youngest sister slumped her shoulders in surrender when she received no response.
"Master, I'm starting to think the real reason you told me to stay behind and 'investigate' was because you didn't want me with you."
"Did you find anything?"
"I haven't checked yet…" she whispered guiltily.
A sigh escaped his lips.
"I got involved again, Xingyue. When I arrived here, I honestly believed I could avoid it, but I have a sister, you know? This body does, at least. You might have a couple more sisters once everything is resolved and we return to the sect."
"Resolved? What is there to resolve that you can't do immediately? And don't tell me it's about Nyx… Or is that thing you mentioned about this world being wrong really that important?"
He shook his head.
"There are quite a few things I can't resolve right away, and you and your sisters know that well."
Xingyue clenched her fist, but spoke with more doubt than anger:
"Are you still looking for a way?"
"I never gave up, Xingyue."
The youngest sister slumped her shoulders, helpless.
"She doesn't deserve it. You've already paid so much trying to fix it… But it makes no sense if the person herself doesn't want it."
"Agh…"
A headache struck Cassian's mind at Xingyue's last words. He brought his hands to his head, trying to ease the pain without success.
"Master, what's wrong? Did I say something bad?"
However, when his eyes regained clarity and returned to their usual indifference, he simply moved closer to her. He grabbed her by the waist, lifted her up, and carried her toward the bed in the center of the room.
"Let's stop talking about that. After tomorrow, go back to where you were. If you don't want to investigate, just seize power over some territories in this world. There are women here who matter to me, and until they are strong enough, we're staying."
"They matter to you? Who are they? Is it the sister you mentioned?"
While asking multiple questions, she settled close to him on the bed, minimizing the distance between them.
"Mmm, partly."
"Is that why you're at the bottom of the sea now?"
"Maybe. I promised someone I would help her, though it's more of an excuse."
"For what?"
He looked at her.
"To have fun," he answered slowly, as a crooked smile grew wider on his face.
In response, she lightly punched his chest with her closed fist while letting out a laugh and scolding him through her teeth:
"Master!"
"Did my little Xingyue come here to have fun with me, right?" he teased again.
The youngest sister responded by sliding the hand resting on his chest lower and lower, looking at him provocatively.
He simply stayed silent, waiting. But she stopped just before reaching the end.
"Master, don't let too many get close to you… I won't be able to justify it to the other sisters…"
"Don't worry, I know how to distinguish between fun and real connection, Xingyue."
But she narrowed her eyes in doubt and, in response, squeezed his member at the same time. He smiled, encouraging her to continue. Xingyue brought her face to his neck and bit him in annoyance, marking her territory.
"Celestia won't stop talking about you, and that woman you spared is unbearable," Xingyue complained.
He smiled softly and began stroking her hair to calm her, while she continued to deliberately tease his lower half. Finally, she stopped hiding her face buried in his neck, revealing her flushed and aroused expression.
Cassian stared at her and, with a voice full of indifference, replied:
"You can kill that woman if you want, Xingyue."
She smiled happily at his words, licking her lips as if she could already feel the pleasure it would bring, or perhaps what she was about to do next. She joined her lips with Cassian's, accelerating the movements of her hands. He wrapped his arm around her waist, reversing their positions without breaking the kiss.
Xingyue opened her eyes, clouded by the strongest drug.
"Master~"
"You should take advantage of today to cultivate, Xingyue. This world seems to have much more energy than usual. Turning this into dual cultivation will benefit you."
"Master…" Cassian's words pulled her slightly out of her fantasy. She shifted her legs uncomfortably, still feeling like something was missing, but seeing the seriousness in her master's gaze, she decided to focus and do as he said. Not without whispering first:
"I haven't been able to break through to the Immortal Emperor Realm even after millennia cultivating in the sect… Why would it change now?"
"I'm not saying you'll break through, Xingyue, but it might help you."
She made a noticeable pout, though she obeyed. She began circulating her star cultivation method, adapting it for dual cultivation.
Cassian smiled in satisfaction. He took one of her legs and hooked it over his back, while with his other hand he positioned his member at her eager and ready entrance.
He pushed in slowly, opening his way inside her in a suffocating manner.
"Ahng~" Xingyue let out a moan, arching her back as her inner walls clenched tightly around him.
"Master… mmngh… so deep…" she panted.
The dual cultivation activated immediately: Cassian's pure energy mixed with Xingyue's starry light. Each clash of their hips made the energy circulate faster, nourishing their meridians and provoking intense spasms of pleasure in both.
Xingyue ran her hands over his shoulders and wrapped her legs around his waist at the same time, pulling him deeper inside her. Her breasts rose and fell with every agitated breath, and her moans grew louder and more desperate.
"Don't get tired," he teased with a smile.
But there was no way Xingyue would ever have enough. It never was. Still, she knew they would have to stop before someone came to disturb them.
Even so, they remained joined, breathing heavily, wrapped in a sweaty and lustful embrace. The unfamiliar room felt surprisingly cozy.
Xingyue lifted her gaze toward him with a satisfied and mischievous smile.
"Definitely going to come more often…" she whispered against his chest, nestled against him, her voice hoarse and full of desire. "I have to take advantage of not having to compete with the other sisters…"
Cassian let out a low, warm laugh that vibrated against her body as he hugged her tighter.
