Chapter 47 - Chapter 49 Caught and Raped

My name is Zhu Zhuqing. I grew up in a "happy" family. My father was strict, but I knew he still loved me. My mother was kind, and my sister was good to me. I should have been a happy little princess.

When I was six, I awakened my family's inherited martial soul, the Netherworld Cat, and my innate soul power was quite good. This should have been a happy thing.

But all of this brought me endless pain. I

was forced into an engagement with a complete stranger; my sister's personality changed drastically, and she bullied me in various ways, even trying to kill me; my father watched coldly, and although my mother wanted to save me, she was strictly stopped.

At that moment, all of this shattered my faith.

What's wrong with this world? Is it sick?

Later, my mother told me the truth, and I finally understood why my sister wanted to kill me.

Only one of them could survive.

This was the fate that the Zhu family bore.

But I didn't want to die; I wanted to live. For this, I desperately cultivated, just to survive.

The person I was engaged to must have felt the same way! After all, we were in the same boat, practically bound by fate.

Yet he escaped, fleeing the Star Luo Empire, choosing to fall into depravity, choosing to linger among women.

I, isolated and helpless, was abandoned. My sister's murderous intent towards me became even more ruthless, constantly sending assassins to kill me.

When I was almost ten, after arduous training, I finally reached level 20 and acquired my second soul ring. Who knew my sister would arrive too?

At that moment, I thought I was doomed. Just then, a very handsome blue-haired boy appeared. He saved me, healed my wounds, cooked delicious food for me, and told me stories.

That period was the happiest time of my life.

Before parting, somehow, I blurted out, "One day, you must come and save me."

  I was terrified.

  To my surprise, he agreed.

At that moment, tears blurred my vision—tears of joy. For the next two years, I missed him constantly, missed our life together in the cave.

So I decided to go find him.

After much delay, I finally met him.

However, at first, he didn't recognize me, and he was accompanied by two pretty girls, which made me very angry.

Later, the misunderstanding was cleared up, and we both confirmed our feelings for each other.

  My happiness was coming.

  But I never expected...

--The above is a self-narration from the protagonist's first girlfriend.

Looking at Zu Zong, who was intimately involved with another girl, Zhu Zhuqing frowned slightly. But she quickly recovered and said coldly, "Can I come with you?"

Zhu Zhuqing's face was very calm, extremely calm, like a calm sea. Her deep black eyes were fixed on Zu Zong. She was very unhappy. In the morning, she was first "persecuted" by Ning Rongrong; then she was forced to eat that disgusting sausage from that uncle at Shrek Academy during class; she finally had free time and came to find Zu Zong, but she didn't expect him to be so affectionate with another girl.

A breeze blew, ruffling everyone's hair. Affected by Zhu Zhuqing's icy aura, the streets were already deserted, and the whole place was silent.

Zu Zong broke out in a cold sweat. Just yesterday, he had sworn to protect Zhu Zhuqing for life, only to find her embraced by another woman the very next day, even if that woman was a rabbit. If he couldn't explain himself clearly today, he feared he would have no good days ahead.

Releasing Xiao Wu's arm, Zu Zong gave an awkward smile. "Zhuqing, what brings you here? I thought you were in class! Let me introduce you."

"No need, I already introduced you last time," Zhu Zhuqing interrupted.

Women are sensitive creatures, even the oldest female rabbits are no exception. Sensing an impending crisis, Xiao Wu put her hands on her hips and said to Zhu Zhuqing, "Your name is Zhuqing, right? Hello, I'm Xiao Wu, the 'Wu' in 'dancing.' I'm from Xiao Zong's clan."

She paused, a thoughtful look in her eyes.

Calling him her girlfriend? She couldn't bring herself to say that, and that blockhead had never admitted it.

Calling him her sister? Although she recognized Old Tom as her grandfather, calling him her sister would clearly be beneath him. No way.

  Hey, I've got it!

  "I'm Xiao Zong's childhood sweetheart."

Zhu Zhuqing glanced at Xiao Wu, then at Ye Lingling beside her. She was certain Ye Lingling was just an ordinary friend of the zuzong, but this Xiao Wu was clearly lusting after her idol's body—what to do?

Zhu Zhuqing simply nodded to Xiao Wu and Ye Lingling as a greeting.

"Xiao Zong, I have something to say to you." Before the words were even finished, Zhu Zhuqing grabbed Zu Zong and pulled him towards the teahouse.

Zu Zong gave Xiao Wu and Ye Lingling a satisfied look, and under Zhu Zhuqing's pull, they entered the nearby teahouse.

"Uh..." Xiao Wu blushed, her fair face turning bright red. She had been ignored, and Xiao Zong had been brazenly taken away. Most importantly, this damned guy hadn't even offered a hint of resistance.

"Waaah..." Unable to hold back, Xiao Wu threw herself into Ye Lingling's arms and cried, "Waaah... What do I do, Lingling? Xiao Zong has been kidnapped by a wild woman!"

Hearing this, Ye Lingling's forehead creased with annoyance. "Wild woman?" What a peculiar description, at least better than Yanzi's "old woman." Gently patting Xiao Wu's back, he comforted her, "Alright, don't cry. I don't know if they're up to something, but I know the zu zong isn't the kind of person who acts casually. I think they might have known each other for a long time."

"Known each other for a long time?" Xiao Wu stopped sobbing and immediately began to recall.

Suddenly, Xiao Wu's eyes lit up, and she murmured, "Zhu Qing? Zhu Qing? Could it be…"

As she spoke, Xiao Wu grabbed Ye Lingling's hand and followed her. Ye Lingling shook her head helplessly, letting the other lead her away.

Inside the teahouse, the two ordered a pot of fine jasmine tea.

The zuzong poured a cup for Zhu Zhu Qing, smiling, "Zhu Qing, try this. This is a specialty of Soto City, jasmine tea. It has cooling and heat-clearing effects; it'll help you cool down on such a hot day."

As he spoke, the zu zong reached into his right hand and took out a paper fan, fanning Zhu Zhu Qing.

Zhu Zhuqing rolled her eyes at the clan leader. "Unsolicited kindness is always suspicious. Tell me! What exactly is your relationship with that Xiao Wu?"

The zu zong nodded. From the moment he saw Zhu Zhuqing—no, from the moment they confirmed their relationship—he had been pondering Xiao Wu's place in his heart.

When he first awakened his martial soul, Xiao Wu was seen as someone with a 100,000-year soul ring and soul bone. At

their first meeting, considering he couldn't absorb a 100,000-year soul ring and that she was a young girl, he didn't make a move.

As they spent more time together, the zu zong had long since abandoned that selfish idea. But he still hadn't opened his heart to her; all he felt was the thrill of stealing Tang San's thunder.

Even after a year of living together, the zu zong still reminded himself, "She's a rabbit, she's a rabbit."

It wasn't until Notting Academy's break and their return to Emperor Soul Village that Xiao Wu recognized Old Tom as her grandfather. This gave the clan leader a reason, a reason to treat Xiao Wu as family—a reason he had been searching for, and one that had gradually begun to accept her. This is why he inexplicably gave Xiao Wu the "Transformation Pill."

Now, six years later, it's impossible

for him to say he had no feelings for Xiao Wu. He was wrong from the start. The first time he saw Xiao Wu, he subconsciously saw her as Tang San's wife from the original story: a soul beast who allowed her husband to steal the divine nature of the auspicious beast, leading to the destruction of the soul beast.

Looking back, he arrogantly imposed mistakes on Xiao Wu that she hadn't even committed. Unlike Tang San, who was deeply influenced by feudal ideology and the ruthless and vicious members of the Tang Sect, he treated the code of conduct in the *Xuantian Baolu* as everything. His outdated ideas were deeply ingrained.

Xiao Wu is different now; she can no longer make the same mistake as in the original story. Because the person beside her is no longer Tang San, but her ZuZong.
