That evening, after everyone had returned from their color-match dates and dinner was finished, the contestants gathered in the living room again. By now, everyone already expected what would happen next.
Right on cue, the familiar chime echoed through the villa.
The recorded voice followed.
"Contestants, the night game will now begin."
Some of the girls clapped lightly while others laughed nervously.
"What kind of game is it this time?" Jiyeon asked with curiosity.
A staff member wheeled in a long table filled with small cards and a large board.
The voice continued.
"Tonight's game is called Memory Swap."
The board was divided into twelve sections, each filled with face-down cards.
"The objective is simple. Each contestant will take turns flipping two cards. If the cards match, the contestant keeps the pair and earns a point."
"But there is a twist."
The girls leaned forward with interest.
"Each card contains a small personal fact about one of the contestants. In order to claim the pair, the contestant must correctly guess which contestant the fact belongs to."
Laughter broke out immediately.
"This is dangerous," Areum said.
"So everyone will learn our secrets?" Sora added.
The game began.
One by one, the contestants flipped cards.
Some guessed correctly.
Some guessed hilariously wrong.
Jiyeon flipped a card that read "Used to sleepwalk as a child."
She immediately pointed at Chaewon.
"Definitely you."
Chaewon gasped.
"How did you know?!"
Everyone laughed.
The room quickly filled with playful accusations and surprised reactions.
But one contestant stayed particularly focused.
Dahye.
She carefully observed every revealed card, remembering positions and details.
When her turn came, she flipped two matching cards quickly.
"Plays the piano since childhood," she read aloud.
Her eyes moved toward Yerin.
"Yerin."
Correct.
The board confirmed the match.
By the time the final round ended, Dahye had collected the most pairs.
The screen lit up.
Winner: Bae Dahye
Applause filled the room.
Jiyeon shook her head.
"She's too calm for these games."
Dahye gave a small smile.
The staff member quietly guided her toward the hallway once again.
The Secret Box Room awaited.
This time, however, the camera followed her only to the door before cutting away.
Inside, Dahye opened one of the boxes.
But the name she chose…
Remained a secret.
The Next Day
The following morning felt energetic.
Everyone knew the producers liked surprises.
And sure enough, just before noon, the chime sounded again.
"Contestants, please gather in the garden."
Outside, a large obstacle course had been prepared.
Colorful ropes, platforms, rings, and puzzle stations filled the lawn.
The contestants looked at the setup with excitement.
The voice spoke again.
"Today's game is called The Triangle Challenge."
The rules appeared on a screen.
Contestants would run through three stages:
Stage One – Rope Balance
Walk across a narrow rope bridge without falling.
Stage Two – Ring Toss Puzzle
Throw rings onto numbered poles and solve a small math puzzle based on the scores.
Stage Three – Team Reaction Wall
Press the correct flashing panels in sequence as fast as possible.
The voice continued.
"The three contestants with the fastest times will earn a special privilege."
Everyone immediately became competitive.
"I'm winning this," Jiyeon declared confidently.
"We'll see," Sohee replied.
The game began.
Contestants raced through the rope bridges, some wobbling dangerously while others moved carefully.
The ring toss puzzle caused chaos—Areum missed several throws and laughed at herself.
"Why am I so bad at this?!"
Meanwhile, Jiyeon flew through the course with surprising speed.
Dahye remained calm and precise as always.
Sohee nearly lost her balance during the rope stage but recovered just in time.
After everyone finished, the final rankings appeared on the screen.
1st Place — Lim Jiyeon
2nd Place — Bae Dahye
3rd Place — Kim Sohee
Cheers and playful groans filled the garden.
The voice spoke again.
"The top three contestants will receive a date selection privilege."
Everyone immediately became curious.
"However," the voice continued, "there is an important rule."
The screen displayed the rule clearly.
You are not allowed to choose a contestant you have already gone on a date with.
Several girls reacted immediately.
"Ohhh," Jiyeon said, understanding the challenge.
The voice continued.
"Each winner must choose a new contestant."
"Selection order will follow the rankings."
First — Jiyeon
Second — Dahye
Third — Sohee
Jiyeon grinned.
"This is interesting."
But before any choices could be made, the voice added one more thing.
"The date selections will take place later."
"For now, contestants may enjoy lunch together."
Immediately the competitive energy relaxed.
The contestants headed back inside the villa to eat.
But even as they sat around the table chatting and laughing…
Everyone's mind was thinking about the same thing.
Who would Jiyeon pick first?
And more importantly—
Who would Dahye and Sohee choose next?
