Mimosa leapt in front of Sly with a protective shield.
Just in time to repel another wave of the parasites' poisonous attacks.
It had split its body into multiple poisonous spores and was now bombing the area all around Sly.
Finally the offended parasite got what he wanted, which was for Mimosa to take his opponent seriously.
This parasite was a dark spirit bone master who failed his tribulation and got reduced to a pint sized insignificant fungus.
Even in this tiny form he still retained all of his dark sadistic memories and the fallen spirit master wanted desperately to teach the offensive shrinking coward a lesson.
Mimosa was determined to no longer hold back.
As he transformed into a bloodthirsty plant soaking up all of the spirit essence that Sly had gained from the rare purple fruit.
Mimosa's eyes shone with purpose and determination.
From Mimosa's body several flaming diamond tentacles jutted out.
Like torpedoes going after the parasite.
The multiple tentacles wrapped around the parasite that had grown ten times its original size.
While squeezing it violently, instantly wrapping up the parasite in tentacle vines.
Until not a speck of the parasite was visible to the human eyes.
Sly Foxx watched this ongoing battle in confusion; he saw the parasite trying so hard to break through its confinement as it kept trying to get to the spot that Sly was located.
Countless blazing diamond tentacles rapidly expanded and spread around the parasite like a surging tide.
Then fiercely attacked the parasite eating up his spores.
Every time he tried to set more spores free they were gobbled up by the devouring mimosa plant.
Until the parasite shrunk to its original size in defeat but Mimosa wasn't done with it yet.
In an instant, more intense dazzling flames with heat intensified engulfed all of the parasite's remaining consciousness.
"Wahhhhhharrrrrrghhhhhhh," shrieked the parasite.
It emitted several painful roars as the tentacles burned away the parasite's body before fully absorbing him.
Then five minutes later, there was complete silence and the roiling waves of the spirit sea returned to its usual calm.
With nothing to attack, Mimosa's diamond tentacles ceased their attacks before retreating inside its host body.
Sly couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief that his newfound spirit landscape would not only remain intact but was also slowly starting to change.
Healing was taking place thanks to Mimosa as the numerous spores that formed a black mist rapidly dissipated.
Revealing that out of the intense battle snow covered mountains had formed in his spirit landscape and Sly marveled at the sight.
His grandparents always used to take him to play in the snow back when they were alive.
Out of the intense fight, dark had given way to light and now there was sunlight in his world that shone over the snow-capped mountains at that moment.
"Sly… what I just did to save you please keep a secret from others for the time being. I will slumber for some time before I can be of any use to you again. Please try to stay out of trouble."
Sly nodded in agreement.
Then Mimosa dragged his body to the shore and curled up to sleep.
Sly could feel his body rapidly recovering and rare trust gleamed in his eyes.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jennings was extremely worried about Sly as it was the first in a long time that as a doctor he felt extremely useless.
Especially with his body covered in thick purple black goo from the dead ants.
Sly Foxx had barely turned ten years old and his young body was undergoing so much trauma.
Who knows what hidden dangers Sly was currently facing in his spirit landscape!
Even if Dr. Jennings wanted to help he couldn't
Somehow Sly had managed to erect an enormous barrier with diamond like flames.
Impossible!
Where was this intense aura of a seasoned diamond spirit master really coming from?
Dr. Jennings continued to stare at the scene ahead of him in astonishment.
A sea of dead purple ants and Sly was the cause, he no longer looked innocent.
Instead he reminded Dr. Jennings of a seasoned combat soldier from the special forces with the magnitude of his unrestrained power.
The doctor robbed his eyes twice to make sure that he wasn't hallucinating.
The boy whose throat Dr. Jennings had forced the last purple fruit down looked like he was on the brink of death.
Could it be…
This is really… Sly Foxx.
Slowly Sly's body was lowered to the ground.
All of his strength was drained and Sly's clothes were soaked in sweat while his body trembled.
Fortunately, energy had been restored to his body, he was no longer paralyzed and could move again.
"Sly… Sly Fox… what in the world just happened?" inquired Dr. Jennings forcefully.
Dr. Jennings ran over to examine the young boy and found that he appeared healthy for the most part.
It seemed the diamond essence aura that he exuded earlier was now gone perhaps it was just a fluke?
Still the doctor continued to look at Sly with complicated eyes, not knowing the best way to coax a child for answers without scaring him too much.
To think that this young man managed to use his plant powers to do such serious damage to a colony of ants.
Just imagine the spectacular things he could do in the future with the right military training from Paradise Academy.
All of his wounds and injuries from earlier were gone.
The doctor even checked his chest, even the scar from the transplant surgery had rapidly healed.
This was no ordinary beginner stage ability for spirit plant practitioner.
With the right training Sly would surpass his grandmother someday as a renowned Spirit Plant Master.
"Did you gain such immense power from eating the last rare fruit?"
The kind doctor's eyes were filled with anxiety and concern.
Sly didn't want to lie to him but he didn't want to talk about Mimosa without the spirit's permission so he simply nodded his head.
"I don't remember much…my head hurts," responded Sly.
He knew that Dr. Jennings was an honest man and had no ill intentions towards him but Mimosa's warning still lingered going forward he needed to be careful.
Besides how could he explain all that happened in his spirit landscape when Sly barely understood it himself.
Dr. Jennings whistled and the pronghorn came leaping out from some bushes and lowered his head so that its two passengers could climb on its back.
"I daresay that with a little shortcut through an active volcano we can reach Paradise Military Academy in another two hours."
An active volcano was nothing in the face of what he had experienced since morning.
So Sly took a deep breath and relaxed against Dr. Jennings, "Alright, let's go."
