Talus was frustrated but he knew it was time to stop fooling around. The general on stage
had already at this point explained the plan but he was also concerned with a certain ace
up Dr. Lingotes sleeve. "His name is Dr. Balthazar has been experimenting with reaching
out into the outer worlds for years. He is working with Dr. Lingote and he is far more
sinister, he's currently at Lingotes base now. I can't even imagine what he's gotten up to."
Zaiyal for his part knowing that everything had been discussed stood up and said, "My
friend Daniel entrusted me with the position of Gate Keeper, it is the responsibility of the
Gatekeeper to seal the evils from other worlds away and to protect this world. Enough jibber jabber. It's time to finish this nonsense!" said Zaiyal. It wasn't long before all of
the heroes flew straight to what seemed just like a glacier of ice but Zaiyal would not fall
for such tricks. "Behold the power of a Solarian warrior!" With a single blast from his
hand a metal floor was discovered which was clearly the top of the underground lair. And
out from it flew an army of what looked like demons led by a strange superhero by the
name of "Music Man," who had become a turncoat, Dr. Lingote himself who had given
himself powers, and a strange being with the head of a lion. Zaiyal smirked, "well where
is Dr. Balthazar? We've heard oh so much about him."
Dr. Lingote speaking through his
slug-face and his mandibles said, "he is becoming one with the great beyond, he will be
with us shortly." A chill went down Zaiyal's spine and he thought to himself, "what the
hell does that mean." Talus cracked his neck and his pelvis, "Well I think I've heard
enough, I think its about time we threw down." Talus leaped into the air punching Dr.
Lingote all the way through a giant block of ice. Next Ungar clashed with the being with
the lion head who was a Gnostic deity named, "Sabaoth." Saboath threw a punch at
Ungar but Ungar countered it with a kick. As Talus leapt through the icy air, smashing
Dr. Lingote through a massive block of ice, a resounding crash echoed across the frozen
expanse. Zaiyal, sensing the importance of his role as Gatekeeper, stood tall, his eyes
scanning the chaotic battle. He knew their world teetered on the edge of darkness, and the
responsibility to restore balance lay upon his shoulders and those of his brave friends.
Ungar, facing the mighty Sabaoth with his lion's head and fierce, blazing eyes, parried a
crushing punch with a swift, countering kick. "You roar, but do you have the bite?" Ungar
jested, a playful spark in his eyes. Sabaoth growled, his mane crackling with otherworldly
energy, but Ungar was unyielding, matching his opponent blow for blow. The clash of
their powers lit up the frozen battlefield like fireworks on a moonless night.
Meanwhile,
Zaiyal kept his gaze fixed on Dr. Lingote's fortress, which had emerged from beneath the
ice. He knew this wasn't just a battle of strength, but one of will and purpose. "Talus, hold
strong!" Zaiyal called out as Talus engaged Music Man, the once-hero whose betrayal cut
deep. Music Man unleashed waves of hypnotic sound, but Talus, focusing on the rhythm
of his own heartbeat, resisted the melody's pull. He clapped his hands together with such
force that the sound disrupted Music Man's tune, sending him stumbling backward.
Zaiyal turned to face Dr. Lingote, who slithered and hissed, his mandibles twitching with
malice. "You may have corrupted others, Lingote, but your reach ends here!" he declared.
Lingote only laughed, his voice echoing unnaturally. "You think you can stop the
ascension of Dr. Balthazar?" he sneered. Just then, the sky darkened, and a swirling portal
appeared above them.
Out of this portal came a giant being made of twisted flesh meshed together. It had a
human being's face, the face of Dr. Balthazar, a giant terrifying monstrosity that was almost beyond explanation. The battlefield crackled with tension as the sky itself seemed
to bow to the overwhelming power of Dr. Balthazar's ascension. The twisted flesh of his
monstrous form glistened ominously, and his human face—barely recognizable amidst
the chaos—was contorted with both agony and cruel triumph. As the portal whirled
above, dark energy pulsed outward, forcing the heroes to steel themselves against the
encroaching waves. Zaiyal clenched his fists, his gaze unwavering despite the horror
unfolding before him. He could feel the weight of his role as Gatekeeper, the ancient
responsibility of sealing away such abominations. "This ends now," he vowed,
channeling his power into a radiant sphere of light that blazed like a miniature sun.
"Talus, Ungar, stay strong! We have to hold the line!" Talus, battered but unbroken, rose
from the ice, his body sparking with raw energy. He grinned through bloodied lips, his
eyes fierce. "You heard the man! No holding back!" He lunged at Music Man, striking
with relentless fury. Every blow shook the ground, disrupting the hypnotic melodies that
had once mesmerized their allies. "This song ends here, traitor!" Talus roared, his fists
blazing with energy. Ungar, still grappling with the lion-headed Sabaoth, gritted his teeth
and launched into a spinning kick that caught the deity off-guard. "I've faced gods
before," he growled, "and you're no different!" The clash of their strikes sent shockwaves
through the ice, splitting the ground beneath them. Sabaoth's roar was deafening, but
Ungar's resolve remained as solid as the earth itself. Dr. Lingote slithered closer to
Zaiyal, his twisted form pulsing with dark energy. "You think you can protect this world,
Gatekeeper? It belongs to the beyond now!" he hissed, his mandibles snapping with
malice.
Zaiyal's light flared brighter in response, his voice steady and defiant. "This
world belongs to those who fight for it. To those who won't give in to darkness!" The
swirling portal above began to widen, and Balthazar's grotesque form stretched out,
seeking to devour everything in its path. Zaiyal took a deep breath, focusing on the light
within him. He knew this battle would determine not just their fates, but the fate of
countless worlds. With a roar that echoed across the frozen expanse, Zaiyal unleashed his
power, a blinding wave of energy aimed at severing the connection between Balthazar
and the portal. As his light met the darkness, it sparked and crackled, a desperate clash
between hope and despair. Every hero fought with everything they had, knowing that this
moment would either seal away evil or consume them all. There was a certain numbness
to the evil monstrosity before them despite how grotesque it was.
Zaiyal for his part was in a battle with Music Man. Music Man's ability was that while he
was fighting a song known or unknown would begin to play magically. A big musical
note on the front of his superhero attire, the fight was interrupted by a single word,
"STOP!" Zaiyal and Music Man looked to their right and saw Talus.
"Stand down Zaiyal,
let me handle this one!" Zaiyal simply nodded his head and moved out of the way. Talus smirked, "I appreciate it friend. Now what to do with a powerful foe like you," said
Talus. Music Man began to laugh, "you really are precious. Do you think you're capable
of beating me or are you just being cute?" Talus cracked his knuckles, "Oh, I'm fucking
adorable." Talus flew through the air, landing a clean shot straight to Music Man's face.
Music Man flew through six giant glaciers in a row, as the air stood still. The glacier's all
exploded and Music Man in a fit of anger began fighting with the song, "I'm still
standing," by Elton John playing. Talus dodged every attack by Music Man like it was as
simple as breathing. Talus arrogantly remarked, "perfect song choice. I've been alive for
over 10,000 years and here I am still standing. The wizard [Ungar] knows that very well
and I like that you are a part of him. I've battled beings you couldn't even fathom, I've
been pushed to the brink countless times, you have no chance of beating me, you're
nothing but a joke, I've spent thousands of years toning my body for battle not to best my
opponent but to best myself, I've nearly killed myself through my neglect through
training more times than I can count," said Talus as he was dodging all of Music Man's
strikes with incredible speed. The Music Man shouted, "YOU BASTARD!" But Talus
caught the fist, "But guess what... I'm still standing." After this Talus landed a blow
straight to Music Man's gut. Then he used his feet to push Talus down towards the
ground while he was laying on his back. Talus unleashed a flurry of his own attacks while
singing, "I'm Still Standing," in sync with the music. The beating was absolutely furious,
and Talus gave no quarter, finally knocking Music Man into the ice below. There was a
brief pause. Talus smirked, "pathetic." But in a flash Talus was knocked to the earth
himself falling into a patch of ice below covered in large chunks.
Music Man landed before him. Holding some kind of grotesque beating heart with eye
balls and sharp teeth on it. "Well, I underestimated you. I guess I'll start taking this
seriously. Do you need a break after that attack?" said Music Man. The large chunks of
ice began to move and Talus with a single hand moved the largest piece from his body.
Talus stood there with ripped clothes, he slowly cracked his neck and his left wrist, and
then cracked his right wrist and the rest of his neck. Afterwards holding his arms up and
saying, "I guess I'll get serious too." Music Man began to laugh hysterically. "I'll tell you
this. You haven't seen anything yet." Music Man ate the grotesque heart and began to
shake, "behold the power of the Demiurge." Music Man's body began to shake and dark
energy began to grow around him. Ungar shouted, "Talus watch out!! He's more
powerful than you think!!" Talus laughed, "If you're right I hope he kills me, I've been
dying for a challenge since the elf died." Music Man began to laugh, "You hope I can kill
you. Well I think I can do that." Talus smirked, "I won't make it easy. What's the fun in
that?" The transformation had just completed and Music Man turned into a giant
terrifying monster, with large horns, eye eyes and disgusting putrid teeth. Ungar shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TALUS?! THIS ISN'T A GAME!" Talus simply smirked,
"It is to me!" Talus shape-shifted into the form of the new Music Man and then
multiplied his number of copies 25 times so 25 of those creatures charged towards the
original. This did not faze the creature at all, the creature leaped into battle and dealt with
each of the clones one after another.
The creature did this with incredible ease as if it was
nothing. And after each of the clones was defeated they disappeared and all that was left
was the original copy. The beating was something that would send shutters down the
spine of even the most resilient of warriors. Ungar growled, "that fool!" Sir Rhyme
shouted, "He needs help." Ungar replied: "Yes but his pride will never allow it."
Meanwhile... in a large beautiful building in City Z one of the great centers of the Qadari
Empire, a man with a large gut and a ridiculous mustache sat at his desk with his feet up
talking into some strange other worldly device, "yes sir, I understand, he's here right
now?! Sir, that's not necessary." The door was kicked open and a weird creature with the
head of a Koala Bear stood there, "So you think this is all just fucking cute! We're about
to speak before the entire board and you decided to fuck me like this?" The man shivered
in fear, "please sir, I didn't mean to make a mistake, honest." But the Koala Bear simply
kicked the man in the face. The man fell to the ground crying out in pain as blood poured
out of his nose. He felt his nose and realized it was broken. After this he began to beat the
man mercilessly. As the man cried out eventually he passed out from shock. "Get up you
bastard we're going out right now." A group of strange beings sat around a table, a girl
with giant eyes dressed as a toddler with pink pigtails, green eyes, and a squeaky voice,
sat next to a giant bear, beside him sat what looked like a giant egg shaped bird with a
little duck beak with a young girl's voice, beside that creature sat a weird alien with large
protruding eyes like a snail and tendrils like an octopus over his mouth and blue skin, and
next to him some man dressed as a chicken, and a humanoid chameleon and so on and so
on. "Sorry we're late," said the Koala. "What happened to you?" said the Bear. The fat
man said, "I fell down the stairs." Everyone began to howl with laughter. The alien said,
"You fool as if we don't know what happened, you probably deserved that beating. No
use in covering that up." A little kitten sat at the head of the table he was in charge of this
organization, "enough, Qatar, what's the situation with the Mechs?" The bizarre alien
who was Qatar sat up, "as a foreigner myself from the planet Gluten I know a thing or
two about advanced technology and the Mechs that the Qadari realm are the peak of
Helion technology. There can be no doubt our enemies will bow before us." The cat
sneered, "Trixie, what's your position, do you agree?" The girl with the pig tails and the
pink hail sat up in a huff, "Once again bug eyes doesn't know what he's talking about.
You're just such a dumb-dumb! The mechs have plenty of room for improvement. Of
course a freak like you wouldn't freaking understand, so why don't you buzz-off you stupid-face," as she said this she stuck her tongue out and closed her eyes.
Qatar's eye
began to twitch and he said, "typically the brat has a problem." Trixie threatened to leap
across the table which frightened Qatar, "You little shit! I'll have you know I'm the most
powerful warrior here!" The cat smiled, "that is true, speaking of power have you seen
the team that Professor Nova is assembling? We need to speak with him immediately
we're old friends. I know he'll be interested in a merger. The cat shouted, "Grover, what
have you found on these people Nova has assembled." The bear sat up and explained the
situation, "this figure Ungar seems to be some kind of warlock and necromancer, this
demon is named Talus apparently he's a member of some demonic race, this is Narcis an
elf who is a powerful Buddhist monk, that's Zaiyal he seems to be some kind of alien
warrior and there are several others as well."
The cat turned his chair around, "do you think they could fully harness the power of the
Mechs?" Everyone looked around until the large bird creature sat up, "All the tests have
come back positive." The cat smirked, "good I'll make the call, all of them will be here
within 24 hours." Meanwhile, on the battlefield Talus had been utterly devastated by this
new horrific monster that was formally the hero Music Man. Talus was on the ground
bloodied and beaten as Ungar came to his rescue. "Talus, that's enough! Narcis heals him
now!!" said Ungar. Music Man began to laugh, but in a flash Ungar appeared before him.
And blasted Music Man into oblivion. Narcis had just finished healing Talus. "That was
entirely irresponsible of you Talus!" said Ungar. Talus sneered, "you shut your mouth!
Watch me put an end to this nonsense!" said Talus. Talus leaped into the air before the
giant grotesque monster and transformed into 200 copies of Music Man in his monstrous
form, Ungar, Zaiyal, Narcis and all the others and simply overwhelmed the beast striking
him down and cutting him to ribbons. In a matter of moments, the threat was neutralized.
The portals began to slowly closed and everything became calm for now. Talus snarled,
"weaklings." "TALUS! That was way out of line!! I thought you were over this
nonsense?" said Ungar. Talus turned around slowly chuckling to himself, "I have no time
for such things wizard, I only care to grow stronger and break through my own limits.
Even if I must die it is no consequence. You should have known that about me by now. If
you didn't that's your own damned fault." Zaiyal descended to the earth, "He's right
Talus!! This whole ego trip is out of control!" Talus simply lifted off into the air. Ungar
was shaking with anger he thought to himself, "What is wrong with him, his arrogance is
going to get himself and the rest of them killed. How petulant." Nova descended himself,
"what's the matter with the demon?" Narcis had just descended as well, "there's nothing
new about it. He does this quite often. His soul has not reached the end of its suffering,
and he is not completed his way through the Great Vehicle." Zaiyal sneered, "I've had
just about enough of this hot-head."
Later that night Nova and the others returned to the compound. Nova received a
notification through his electronic device. "Hmmmm." Nova clicked on the message and
realized who it was immediately. "Well, I guess we have an appointment tomorrow. We
won't be the only heroes once again. We're heading out to City Z tomorrow." Zaiyal was
kind of annoyed, "What is it now?!" Talus could have cared less and simply replied,
"Wizard I'm going to use the simulator to train but first I want to go all out with the
wizard in a one-on-one fight." Ungar simply grunted, "Fine we'll do it in the backyard."
The ship slowly landed, Ungar and Talus walked into the backyard of the large
compound. "If this we'll get you to calm down, I'll play along," said Ungar. "Enough
talk, fight!!" said Talus. Talus immediately flew in with an attack landing blow after blow
Ungar but his armored hands over his helmet being pushed back through the air at Moch
speed. Talus's eyes glistened with red light, and his mouth salivated with intense desire.
Ungar tried to counter with a kick but Talus simply grabbed him and flung him through
the air by the cape. Ungar was thrown 5 miles in the opposite reaction crashing through a
forest. Ungar began to glow with red energy. Ungar leaped forward punching Talus in the
arm, this triggered a memory from Talus, he remembered himself on the battlefield with
the other demons. A large powerful demon with a large patruding gut was chewing on the
Sinue of human bones. The demon was wiping the gunk collecting between his yellow
teeth. He snarled and grunted as he began to pass what was clearly a human skull. His
putrid and disgusting aura and smell was beyond anything that was remotely acceptable.
The 10 foot creature turned around and said, "Talus! Why are you so quiet?" Talus
responded by simply saying, "all of these humans are so weak. For once I would like a
real challenge." The giant demon began to laugh, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! A
challenge, we're here for the meal. To be honestly that was a poor attempt at a joke Talus.
Anyways, I'm going to enjoy the buffet, enjoy the hunger strike." A female demon
walked closer to him, "you want a challenge, you should fight someone like Lucifer the
boss has to be strong." Talus began to chuckle, "I know somewhere out there in this big
world there's someone who could put the boss to shame. I know it in my heart. I'll find
him. And I'll either defeat this monster or die trying." Talus continued his fight with
Ungar. Ungar shot a ray of atomic energy towards Talus. Which Talus knocked out of the
way with his hand. After this Talus transformed into Lord Nyalthrotep. "Is this form to
your liking?" without missing a beat Ungar struck him but it was nothing and Talus
copied the abilities of Lord Tep perfectly creating black holes and terrifying monstrosities
with his magic. Ungar struck Talus in the jaw and as this happened Talus changed form
again this time into Ebisu, which flustered Ungar as he encountered his former master.
But Ungar quickly gained control and began to parry Talus, next Talus transformed into
Tatu the Wasp Prince but still Ungar made quick work of him, and then finally he transformed into something Ungar didn't expect.
Talus transformed into Daniel.
"Remember me?" Talus leaped through the air with the spirit blade, Ungar conjured his
own blade and blocked the attack. Talus lifted his hand and unleashed Daniels, "Meteor
Shower," attack which caused countless beams of light to fall to the earth. Ungar landed
on the ground and began to dodge all of the falling beams of light. Talus for his part
screamed in delight, "this is the power I sought to battle!!" Ungar charged up and began
to finally get serious. The ground began to shake. Talus could see over 600,000 Universal
size orbs appear at once which only makes sense as Ungar's body was made up of over
600,000 Universes. The planet and the world around it began to buckle as electricity
began to form around Ungar. "I'm done playing for fools. Its time to finish this." Ungar
shot a beam of energy that hit Talus head on which sent him flying. Talus ended up
landing in a cave. He was on his back laughing hysterically. Ungar grunted, "you haven't
had enough yet?" Talus smirked, "It's enough for now friend, I guess I'll get in the
simulator and start my training." A voice could be heard nearby, "so you've found where
I've been hiding." Ungar and Talus looked around confused. Until they noticed a tall man
with a chain around his neck, large and ripped frame, blonde hair and blue eyes with no
shirt and baggy pants and a backwards baseball cap. "Yo' you fools are from the Hero
Association, right?" Ungar and Talus slowly nodded. "Well, it's too bad for you, I'll kill
you both then, sorry."
