Kaelen's POV
The industrial rubber gloves stretched tight across my hands as I pulled them on. Each finger settled into place with a sharp squeak against my skin. The material was thick enough to handle the most corrosive chemicals known to our kind.
The sentinels wheeled the massive barrel into position at the center of the interrogation room. The container was wide enough to accommodate a grown man's head and shoulders. Liquid sloshed against the metal sides as they maneuvered it into place. The sharp, acrid smell immediately filled the chamber, burning through my nostrils like acid.
Wolfsbane juice. Concentrated to lethal levels.
The bound Omegas began weeping the moment they understood what they were seeing.
"Please, Alpha," one of them sobbed, her voice breaking. "Please, we know nothing about this."
"We are innocent," another cried. "We would never harm the Grand Luna."
