The next day Ethan woke on his bed.
The sun had risen long ago, and since he always wakes up before sunrise, Sister Mary got worried and came to check on him. She only left after confirming that everything was ok with him.
He slowly sat up; just then he clutched his head with pain obvious in his face, and the memories of blue started flowing in his head.
It took half an hour for him to become normal.
"So what he said is true. Ahh, he really merged with me. But other than the memory integration, I don't see any changes happening."
Only now he looked around the room. "I must have teleported here after my awakening."
"Wait a minute, what happened to the awakening? I only remember the shaking of the temple, then I lost my consciousness and appeared in my sea of consciousness, and now I am here."
"Just how many times is this going to happen to me? Fine, let me test it."
Suddenly he becomes very excited. "Oh my god, I can't believe that I am going to say the magic word, hahaahaaa. Never in a million dreams did I think this day would come…"

Seeing the system panel, Ethan was surprised and shocked at the same time.
"It's good that the system still names me Ethan Hart, but the true name feels like the name of a villain. Seriously, who would name someone Ruin? Does the system even know what it means?"

"You can talk?"
No answer came. "Right…but what does it mean by that?"
"Am I some kind of time bomb or what? Is that the reason why they cursed me? The questions are piling up, but where do I go to find the answer?"
"Wait, why did I use 'me' instead of using Blue? Is it because of the merging? Whatever, let's think about that later. Now let's see the rest of the panel."
He saw the species tab and was once again shocked.
"Whattttttt…what the hell is this? I am a motherfucking dragon. You have got to be kidding me. Even if it's just 1% of the bloodline, it is from the true dragon."
Ethan has some knowledge about them from his light novel readings. There are different types of dragons, like humans having their lineage and bloodline, who are also called "dragons."
There are also half-dragons in both beast and human forms, but a true dragon is superior to every one of them; they are like ancestors to others.
"And what's up with these question marks, sigh… Just what the hell have I become?"
"Now what are these? I have just awakened, and I already have titles!"
"Cool, but why do most of them feel more like curses than titles?"
Then he read the backstory and just said a simple word, "overly dramatic."
Then comes the status: "Now we are talking. My strength and stamina seem to be highest. Is it because of my bloodline or the training?"
But what is the average for a human? I don't feel that much stronger than a normal human, though.

He then saw the ability section. "I have three different sections for abilities alone; that's delightful. Innate abilities must be the ones I am born with; racial, as the name says, is related to the individual's bloodline; as for the awakened, it must be the one that I awakened in the temple."
"Let's see what these titles and abilities are."

Once again, so many questions with no answers. But the attribute increase is more than welcome; it would make me much stronger than my peers.
Future Swordsaint: You are born to be a swordsman; it's in your blood. The sword will feel like an extension of your body. You will excel in all sword- and sword-based abilities, and your comprehension of all sword-related techniques will be increased.

Then he saw the system summary, and his lips curled. "Why do I feel like the system is mocking me? Does it have prejudice against me?"
"Is it because of what happened in the awakening temple?" He remembered seeing the little destruction his awakening caused to the temple. "Surely it wouldn't be so pitiful, right?"
After reading through the entire panel, he got up, stretched his body, and said, "I really wanted to test my abilities now; let's get out of here." Coming out, he saw Sister Mary.
He went to her and said, "Hello, Sister, how is your day?"
Hearing him, she turned and said, "Oh, hi, Blue. It seems you woke up. You slept really long today; I was getting worried, you know."
"Sorry, sister, I was a little tired from yesterday's training," he said. "Don't push yourself too hard, Blue; you are still a little kid, remember?" she said worriedly.
"I am going out for a little bit." "But didn't you just wake up? Anyway, come back before it's dark." "I will, don't worry."
After saying that, he walked out of the orphanage and went to his usual training place.
