As they were safe now Riya being the leader called a meeting about how that attack occurred. No one had any opinion but Vidit had some thing to say, he gave Riya a piece of paper with To Riya written on it. He told her that it was written by Rudra long ago but he never had courage in this matter to actually give it to her. She read it
Dear Riya
If you are reading this then I am rather dead or besides you. I know if I am besides you, I have probably told this to you so no need to read this but if I am dead then listen carefully. I loved you but never had the courage to tell you though being the most courageous one. I knew you loved me too but still I never got a feeling to tell you as I thought I had a lot of time.
If I had given a sacrifice to save you all then never let my sacrifice go to waste. I will always be alive in you though dead for every one else my dear.
She was almost in tears but could not afford to show them in front of the whole crew as Rudra's death had already made everyone loose confidence and if she also broke down then the others would have lost hope.
The meeting continued and they went to a conclusion that they were a lot more evolved than expected they had a lot more coordination than humans. They were smarter, tougher and more coordinated than before. But they needed a way to kill them in order to reach the station and leave for Mars.
They made two teams one would go into the bunker and bring resources and the other would keep guard to alert them if animals came there. Both th teams had 4 members each. The plan had started the team which reached in the bunker contained Vidit, Yug, and other two soldiers where as the other team contained Riya, Veda and other two soldiers who guarded if any animal showed up.
The group 1 went in the bunker, they started searching for something useful when Vidit remembered that once Rudra told him that if any apocalypse broke out then he would have to take out the bag which Rudra had kept in case of any apocalypse, he started finding it under the bed, on the shelf but at last found it in his closet. He took the bag and other essentials and went out of the bunker before the animals could notice them.
They ran but forgot the kit that let them communicate with the colony on Mars and people in other bunkers. Vidit ran to take it when suddenly Yug passed ahead of him and ran in to bring the kit. Vidit saw that the animals were coming to the bunker but Yug seemed to know it. He was the fastest one and he actually ran with a 7kg machine inhis one hand and was too close when he fell on ground but not to worry the animals were a lot away so he was alight. He took the machine and gave it to their leader Riya.
