They were just too less to create a whole rocket crew, they were alone, discouraged and heart broken. Though they were in such a condition they decided not to quit. It was Veda their group leader who gave a big and inspiring speech which made the other 6 members a bit courageous.
They started off the journey with 4 men including Vidit and 3 women including Veda and a 7 year old. The journey was to be difficult as they were still 57 km away from the station which would usually take 1day but due to a foot injury of the other women who was injured in the building incident, it would take them 3 full days.
They began by mapping the whole route and also took the computer thing that caused Yug's death as they had gone back for it. Veda was about to break down again when she chose to shift her focus to the young girl who was too afraid to speak. Veda confronted her and lifted her up to help herself win the girl's loyalty.
As they started their journey, they were afraid to see any more animals as even one small falcon was enough to finish their story. But who knew that neither falcon nor any other animal would affect them till they reach the station as even the animal masters were with them.
They reached what used to be a convenient store, they thought there won't be anything necessary but remembered that canned food may help them for some time till they reach the station and even during their stay there.
It was good that they decided to visit it as they found another bunker there which contained not more but atleast 6 more people making them 13 in total but there was a problem cause one of them was also injured but fortunately in hand so she could atleast walk.They decided to stay there for the night.
But at night another young boy of the other bunker was doing some thing with the computer thing when the girl from Veda's crew asked him what he was doing when Veda replied from behind to not worry as he was doing it under the guidance of Veda and she was teaching him to send a message and he was writing politely so that the one's who would read it would also agree to it. The message was sent to all bunkers all over the world to call everyone to the station that,
' We have got a sign that the system in the station near us is almost alright and if you all help us then it will have enough fuel, space and capacity to take almost 7000 people to Mars in one go and even if it is not enough then there is another capsule attachable to carry 2000 more in the same go. I insist that you all leave your bunker and help us it this fight as if not helped then you all may live a little longer but will eventually die due to the animals and at that time you all will remember that we were ready to take you, the rocket would be ready too but if you would have taken a bit more courage then your and all others whole would be different. Even if it is not ready to take any of us then our try would be the most respectful failure and if not now then we will at last die soon in captivity according to me a slow death in captivity is far worse then a fast death for a cause of others freedom. Wish you all good luck for the journey and don't worry for space as many of you will die in the process of coming here so don't let their deaths go to waste. And also bring ammunition and other resources. We will not be able to do it alone we need you and your help. Thank you.'
After this long speech as Veda turned behind to hide her tears she saw every one staring at her with confidence in their voices but as they started to cheer their voices had caused animals outside to notice human activities in the bunker and broke the wall entering from all sides killing almost everyone except for Veda, Vidit, the young girl, the young boy and the leader from the other group as they were sent unconscious by the attack from the wall they were facing and even though unconscious Veda was protecting Vidit and the other leader was trying to save the others but she little did she know that everyone else was dead. Leaving the place a carnage and making it unlivable for anything.
They woke up to see this carnage which made them leave from that area and start the journey early in the morning.
