After waiting for a while and realizing that no one else seemed interested in starting another confrontation, Grace Piao finally shifted her attention away from the people in the room.
Everyone was quiet.
Some were writing notes. Some were pretending not to look at Garfield Everworth as he chewed. Some were staring at the table, lost in thought.
Grace decided they could be left alone for a moment.
She turned her head slightly and looked at the screen to her right.
The screen lit up at her touch.
It showed the meeting room from above. Then another angle. Then another.
Small numbers appeared at the top of the screen.

In the corner of the screen, a small indicator blinked quietly.
On: Camera 1Recording: 00:40:12
The meeting had been recorded for the past forty minutes.
The footage was being captured by five small floating drones that moved quietly around the room.
They were no larger than the size of two fists stacked on top of one another, smooth and white, with a single dark lens.
They hovered near the ceiling, near the walls, and occasionally drifted slowly to adjust their angles.
Together, they captured nearly every corner of the room.
However, the system was designed with strict privacy filters.
The broadcast did not allow viewers to see the screens on the main table where individuals were writing notes.
It also delayed any close-up footage of documents written by assistants, ensuring sensitive information could be reviewed before being shown publicly.
Faces, voices, body language, and general movements could be seen clearly.
Private notes and sensitive text could not.
This broadcasting system was one of the technologies developed by the Piao family.
Viewers could switch between camera angles manually by swiping the corners of their screen, or they could select a specific camera from the top panel and immediately switch to that view.
There was also a multi-view option that allowed several camera angles to be viewed at once.
In the top right corner of the screen, another indicator sat quietly:
Comments: OFF
Grace looked at the screen for a moment, watching the silent room from the perspective of the drones.
After a while, she tapped the comment indicator.
Comments: ON
Instantly, the side of the screen filled with scrolling messages.
Grace began to read.
