"Yeah, I guess, but chances are PewPew is coming with a recording request," Angel noted. "Where we are going is not for regular people to see…"
"Wait—" Angela interrupted before Angel could finish her thought. "Weren't we planning a showcase of the Piao Family Treasure's Trove anyway?"
"Yeah. Eventually we'll showcase it."
"Then why don't we start the advertising now?" Angela said. "Just a small preview. Not everything. Enough to build anticipation for the real opening."
Angel thought for a moment, then nodded slowly. "Fine. But only the entrance and a few pieces. No deep vault, no restricted sections. Preview only."
Angela nodded, agreeing to the conditions.
"Alright. Go ahead, then."
"After we leave here, send PewPew live location. He'll need it to find the entrance. Not a one-time ping. Live tracking."
Angela nodded.
"Do you think he'll make it?" Angel asked.
"We should keep moving. He's close enough," Angela replied. "I'm keeping an eye on his location."
Angela glanced at Angel. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
Angel tilted her head. "You're weirdly… protective."
Angela hesitated. "I've already given him access. Instinct, nothing more."
"One-time location access?" Angel asked.
Angela looked away. "Yeah. But I could've turned it off any time. I just… didn't want you to get mad."
Angel sighed. "Fine. But next time, control your instincts. People notice. PewPew's important to you. Don't let that be a weakness."
"I know. Promise. I'll try."
They started walking.
"Are we waiting here or out there?" Angela asked.
"Let's walk first. Meet at the front of the treasure trove door."
Angela nodded. "Okay… switching to live location now."
"By the time we reach there, he should be close. Ten minutes, give or take."
Angela frowned. "I wanted to wait for PewPew here, though."
Angel smiled faintly. "There is always another chance. Now focus."
As they walked, Angela noticed a cute little hat she had found earlier and placed it on her head.
Angel stopped. "Where'd you get that?"
"In that corner. Wouldn't it look great on PewPew?"
"Nope. Not for broadcast. PewPew can't properly record while wearing that."
"I know, I know. Fine. The hat stays off-camera," Angela said, putting the hat back.
They continued, heading toward the Piao Family Treasure Trove.
"Here we are," Angel said, looking around. "How long do you think it will take PewPew to get here?"
"Not long. I have his live location," Angela replied.
Angela checked the device. "Huh… he's heading this way. Strange. Why this path?"
Angel leaned closer to the screen. "He's not wandering aimlessly this time. Maybe heading to the area you prepped for him."
Angela blinked. "You think the cameras are guiding him?"
"Maybe," Angel said. "Could be fun to check when he arrives."
Angela crossed her arms. "If the cameras have autonomy, we don't have to worry about abuses in unseen areas?"
Angel shrugged. "Could backfire, but it's a step forward."
"Also, about PewPew?" Angel asked quietly. "Since he's the first of his prototype. What if the cameras target him?"
Angela paused. "I have plans. He won't get bullied."
Angel raised an eyebrow. "You favor him, huh?"
"Not really," Angela said. "But… he's special."
Angel looked down. "I feel bad for him sometimes. He calls you mother, but you see him as an experiment."
Angela exhaled. "I'm clear with him. Still… I treat him like mine."
Angel smiled faintly. "Guess… he's your child, in a way."
"Yes, but I care for all my projects. Some just… matter more," Angela said, looking down as well.
Just then, PewPew rolled into view and snuggled against Angela's leg.
...
Angel laughed softly. "So, what was the reason you requested Angela's live location?"
Angela could barely respond, still hugging PewPew.
PewPew projected a small screen and brought up a request from Grace. Angela read it and blinked, realizing Angel had predicted it.
"It's a request from the Main Office," she said. "Someone paid for a live viewing."
Angel sighed. "Can't they wait?"
Angela tapped PewPew lightly. "Switch to live broadcast mode."
PewPew's eyes glowed red. His lens shifted forward, and a faint hologram of scrolling comments appeared in the air.
"Hey guys," Angel said. "You wanted to see us? Here we are."
She gestured toward the large doors. "This is a sneak peek inside the Piao Family Treasure Trove. A private collection, centuries in the making. Today is just a preview. The full interactive tour will be available later."
They walked inside slowly.
Angel pointed toward several reconstructed chests and explained Amelia Piao's reconstruction technology and the significance of each piece as they passed.
Angela smiled softly. "Feels like an advertisement."
Angel chuckled. "Kind of. But it works."
They continued walking.
"Why is this medal here?" Angela asked, pointing.
"It's Max Piao's Medal of Honor," Angel said. "He died in the war. Families kept medals when bodies weren't recovered."
Angela nodded slowly. "Mind if I come back later and look properly?"
"Sure. You're a Piao."
Angel glanced at PewPew's camera lens. "This is your only live preview. Full interactive tour later."
Angela laughed softly. "Advertisement vibes."
"Yes," Angel agreed. "But it's convenient. Now, let's go."
"Yeah," Angela said. "Time to leave."
