"KANJI KICK!"
The alternate got smacked into the wall again and now it was getting pissed. This alternate was a 3rd Class Medium and its unique ability allowed it to release sleeping gas from its mouth. It started regenerating its broken bones and glared at Kanji-Man.
"You think that'll scare a hero like me, huh!? I am Kanji-Man! Did you already forget, monster!?"
"KILL FUNNY HUMAN! MAKE ME ANGRY!", It shouted and after regenerating its jaw, it stretched out its mouth and released an enormous amount of sleeping gas.
"What is that gas!?", Kanji-Man said as he jumped backwards using 2nd form on his legs. "That won't be enough to deal with me though, monster!"
This time he put slid out a paper from the floor and began writing on it. He wrote the kanji for reflect, 映, on it and faced it towards the gas. The paper disappeared as it made contact with the gas and the gas suddenly started to head towards the alternate completely ignoring Kanji-Man.
"AHHHHHH!? WHY!?"
"I hope you understand it now, monster. The immense power that I wield is beyond your level... You were never going to defeat I, Kanji-Man!"
"This is a bizarre sight..."
"Its sure is, senpai... Who the hell is that guy and why is he wearing a Senshi suit!?", Rento replied with a weirded out face.
The alternate had fallen victim to its own ability and fallen unconscious. Kanji-Man walked towards Koizumi Sakura's body that was laying on the ground. He kneeled down and slowly closed her eyes with his hand. "I am so very sorry this happened to you, young lady. I pray that your soul makes it to heaven's gates.", He said in a soft saddened voice. Kanji-Man raised his other hand, removed his Senshi suit's glove and began sharpening his nails preparing to stab into the body's head.
"Oi! You over there, Who the hell are you!?", Rento shouted from outside. Kanji-Man turned his head and saw 2 people wearing black suits being completely casual about everything happening, the destruction of the coffee shop and all.
"Why aren't these 2 folks freaking out about this situation?"
"Citizens, I'm currently dealing with a monster. Please get away from the scene like the rest of the common people have."
"I asked you who you were, weirdo."
"What's wrong with this kid?"
"I AM KANJI-MAN! YOUR PROTECTOR!"
"You making fun of me, pal? I guess words ain't gonna cut it. 2nd form."
"2nd form? What is he saying? Is he an anime fan or something?"
Yuko walked up in front of Rento and told him to calm down. "Seriously, Takahashi-kun! You're the one escalating the situation here, you always act like this even when I've asked you not to so many times."
"Uhh... Sorry, senpai...", Rento said as he lowered his head in shame.
"Aww man... I disappointed my Senpai again... I really need to fix this attitude of mine!"
Yuko looked towards Kanji-Man and asked, "Hmmm... Kanji-Man-kun, it seems you've dealt with the alternate for us."
"Alternate? What is this young lady talking about?"
"Are you an alternate-user like us?", Yuko asked in a very polite voice and with a soft smile.
"What? What are you saying, young lady?"
"Oopsies! Of course you wouldn't be familiar with the terminology. I'm asking if you suddenly gained supernatural abilities like this, 2nd form." Yuko began stretching out one of her fingers and made it freakishly long.
"See? I'm asking if you ca-"
Kanji-Man began running away from the screen. "OH I KNEW IT, THOSE TWO ARE MONSTERS AS WELL! I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING OFF ABOUT THEM! THERE ARE NO CITIZENS AROUND SO I DON'T NEED TO FIGHT THEM FOR NOW AND SOMETHING TELLS ME THAT I COULDN'T WIN AGAINST THEM! MY INSTINCT IS TELLING ME TO RUN!
WHAT A SHAME! KANJI-MAN RUNNING AWAY!? IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN MORE THAN 2 WEEKS SINCE I BECAME A SENTAI HERO AND I'M ALREADY RUNNING!? I'M A SHAME, A GODDAMN SHAME! TO BOTH ME AND TO MY FRENCH FOLKS BACK HOME!"
Kanji-Man ran out of the scene looking more awkward than Takeru back in the day trying to talk to girls and Rento and Yuko gazed at scene with completely different reactions, one laughed and the other one looked annoyed as shit.
"Lets go after him, Takahashi-kun. We'll catch him in no ti-"
"WAHHHHH!!!!!! FUNNY HUMAN! WHERE!?"
"Change of plans! My Kohai, I'm giving you the mission to go and catch Kanji-Man-kun while I deal with alternate-chan over here."
"OK, SENPAI!", Rento said and dashed off to chase after Kanji-Man.
The alternate had awoken from its sleep and was now even more furious, it glared at Yuko while dripping out a gross amount of saliva from its mouth. "WHERE!? TELL WHERE FUNNY HUMAN, HUMAN!?"
Yuko looked back at the alternate with soft relaxed eyes and said, "I'm so very sorry, alternate-chan. You will be dying at my hands shortly."
The furious alternate leaped towards Yuko bursting through the shop's window wall but just as it was about to slash Yuko with its nails, she unleased a barrage of concussive force pulses that pushed the alternate back into the shop. The blasts didn't do much damage, they just made the alternate more furious.
"Come on, alternate-chan. Lets make this battle a bit more showy."
Kanji-Man was running with all he's got and meanwhile, Rento was catching up to him without even trying using 2nd form on his legs. "HOW IS THIS GUY SO FAST? I HE REALLY IS A FUCKING MONSTER!"
"LEAVE ME ALONE! I'M SORRY FOR HURTING YOUR MONSTER FRIENDS!"
"Huh!? Just relax, you weirdo! You think I'm alternate? I'm not! I'm not gonna hurt you so just let me ask you some questions, alright!? Just stop! I'm gonna catch up to you soon anyway."
"I got a whole bunch of questions to ask this guy... How did his awakening go unnoticed by SOMA, how was he not affected by Otori-san's ability and most importantly, why the hell is he wearing a Senshi suit!?
Geez, another weirdo managed to pop. Is this guy a weird case like Takeru...? Damnit, I hope that guy's okay..."
It was already 6:30 PM and it was starting to get dark meaning SOMA agents could start going back to the headquarters. Hikari was currently drunk as hell in a random bar, the other 2 members of Group 2 had already made it back to base but they had left Hikari since he said he wanted to drink more.
When the driver of Group 2's car came back, he saw Hikari laying flat on a table passed out from being drunk. "Not again, Kagura-san...", He said as he picked up Hikari and dragged him into the car.
As the car started driving back to the headquarters, 4 ominous figures sitting on a nearby rooftop glared at Hikari with the intent to kill burning within their hearts.
