Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Birth of the spirit-body resonance method

Silent Night's POV:

A Shiver from the HeavensThe evening air was still, the only sound the rhythmic lapping of the waves against the shore, yet a sudden, crystalline chill raced down my spine. It wasn't the cold of the wind; it was a spiritual frost that seemed to bypass my skin and settle directly into my marrow. I froze, my breath hitching in my throat.

Did a God from the Divine Realm find me?The thought was a jagged shard of ice in my mind. I immediately closed my eyes, retracting my aura to a microscopic point before exploding my Divine Sense outward in a silent, invisible ripple.

It expanded for miles—tracing the silhouettes of the trees, the heat signatures of the sleeping birds, and the deep, dark currents of the ocean.Nothing.

There was no golden aura, no oppressive heavenly pressure, and no spatial distortions.I let out a long, shaky breath, the tension leaving my shoulders.

It seemed I was chasing by a ghosts.

My trauma come from my mother memories about God Realm and here I am think god playing tricks on my instincts. I shook my head, my gaze drifting to the clearing where Yin and the others were practicing cultivation techniques.

For now, the world was quiet. As I sat there, keeping a watchful eye on the toddlers stumbling through the grass, I turned my attention inward.

I delved into the vast, swirling nebula of my Inherited Memories—the legacy of my mother and her dragon Inherentage.

I sifted through thousands of scrolls of light, searching for a foundation for these children.I searched for the Heavenly Dragon Breath, but it required a royal dragon bloodline and they didn't possess. I looked into the Flowing Jade Script, but it was too delicate for their current childish temperaments.

To my frustration, the higher-tier techniques I inherited were too "pure" Or too "powerful" —for them to handle or not suitable at all for them.

These children were mortal; their meridians were like narrow streams even if they are genius compare to other.

If the Heavens haven't provided a path for them, I thought, a spark of defiance lighting in my eyes, then I shall tear the stars apart and forge one myself.

I began to mental-map a new system. It needed to be robust but flexible. I decided to call it the Spirit-Body Resonance Method. Instead of simply storing energy in the Dantian, they would use their Martial Spirits as a secondary heart or a furnace—a filter and an engine combined.

The Evening Catch and the sun set By the time I had the first three tiers of the technique mapped out, the sun had dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in bruises of purple and gold. It was time for the evening meal.I walked to the shoreline, the water parting at my feet as I stepped onto the surface of the sea.

With a flick of my wrist, I used my supreme God Method, sending a vibration through the water that gently stunned a school of silver-fin fish. Among them, a flash of radiance caught my eye—a Golden-Scale Snapper, a creature rich in spiritual lipids. That one would be my food for today again ; the others would feed the growing hunger of the children. When I returned to the camp, I expected the usual riot. Instead, I found a scene of surprising order.

Yin stood at the center of the camp, her small hands on her hips, while Min stood behind her like a silent sentinel. The younger children were sitting in a neat circle, their faces scrubbed clean.

It seemed Yin and Min had established a "no-chaos" policy backed by what the younger ones whispered was the "Iron Fist of the Siblings."

I hid a smile. Discipline was the first step toward cultivation.

Yin's POV:

The Mystery of the Master.

We ate in silence, the taste of the fresh fish filling us with a strange, buzzing energy. But despite the warmth of the fire, I couldn't stop the nagging feeling in my chest.

Master was a goddess to us—she had saved us, fed us, and protected us—but she was so mysteries. We didn't even know what to call her when we prayed. My siblings kept glancing at me, nudging my elbow. They were too scared to speak, so the burden fell on me. After we finished the last of the food, I stood up, my knees feeling a bit like jelly.

I walked over to where Master was sitting, her silver hair shimmering in the firelight."Master?" I whispered, my voice cracking slightly. She looked up, her expression unreadable. My heart hammered against my ribs. "You... you have done so much for us. But you haven't told us your name yet.master..."

Master blinked. For a second, she looked genuinely stumped, as if the concept of telling your name to other was a foreign thought. Then, a soft, self-realizate smile touched her lips."Oh," she said softly. "My apologies. I simply forgot. My name is Silent Night. You may address me as master Night."

The name sent a shiver through me—not of cold, but of awe. Silent Night. It sounded like the darkness that protects you from the sun, the quiet before a miracle. A wave of immense relief washed over me.

She hadn't kept it a secret because we weren't worthy; she was just... a bit forgetful.A strange, protective urge rose in my chest. Master was powerful, but she was clearly a bit air-headed about important things! I looked at her narrowed eyes.

I'll have to make sure I take care of her properly so she doesn't forget to eat or sleep next time.

Silent Night's POV:

I suddenly feel an inexplicable prickle of unease as Yin looked at me. Her expression had shifted from nervous to... oddly determined? It was the look of a hunter spotting a particularly clumsy deer. I cleared my throat, deciding it was best to move on to the business of the night.

"Yin, Min, come here. Listen with your very souls," I commanded. They scrambled forward, sitting cross-legged at my feet. I pulled out a fresh scroll I had spent the last hour creating it with my divine power."I have a cultivation technique for you," I began, my voice taking on the weight of authority. "Most cultivators draw energy from surrounding and put into their Dantian and keep it there like water in a pond. But a pond can grow stagnant. The cultivation technique, the Spirit-Body Resonance Method, is different. It is a water ecology."

I pointed to the diagram on the scroll. "First, you will draw the Essence from the air. But you will not take it into your body yet. You will pull it directly into your Martial Spirit. Let your Spirit act as a furnace, burning away the impurities of the world."

Min's eyes widened. "Refining it outside the body?""Exactly," I nodded. "Once the energy is purified by your Spirit, you will draw it into your meridians. It will be like liquid silk, strengthening your bones and tempering your flesh without the pain of raw energy. But the cycle doesn't end there.

Once the energy has circulated through your limbs, you will push it back into your Spirit."I watched them, ensuring they understood the gravity. "This constant loop—Spirit to Body, Body to Spirit—will forge a bond so tight that your Martial Spirit will eventually become an extension of your own nervous system. You will move faster, react quicker, and your Spirit will grow alongside your physical strength, but your cultivation speed will little slow compare to your peer."

I handed the scroll to Yin. "There is only one copy. You are the eldest; you will lead the study. If the words you don't understand or the flow feels blocked, come to me.""Yes, master Night! We won't let you down!" they shouted, their voices echoing off the cliffs.

They practically dove onto the scroll, huddled together in a tight knot of limbs and whispers. Watching them argue over the first paragraph of the manual, a rare sense of peace settled over me. I didn't know if the Gods were still hunting watch the continent, but for tonight, under the watchful gaze of the moon.
