My life, so far, hasn't changed dramatically so I've been letting down my guard slightly but I'm still cautious of those people who were trying to kidnap me.
Right now I'm sitting on a log, watching as the kids play around in the open field but my eyes weren't on them but rather the new template I have received.

Right now I'm leaving it alone as I want to fully mastery my blood manipulation and then work towards this template, as having at least one mastered template is useful if I'm constantly switching template which has a time limit until I can use the template again.
Ratio allows me to divide my target into ten lines and forcibly creates a weak spot on line 3 and 7, I can choose which body part I can select to have a line over it.
One of the most useful close quarters techniques I could get.

I just need to keep this regime up and I'll be able to master blood manipulation in no time. Well that's if certain people don't disturb me.
"Hey Xicor, why are just sitting there, come and play" Kyouka called out.
I sigh at the girl always wanting to play but I don't dislike since it helps me relax a little and sends me back to when I played with my friends but the fear of losing it like how I lost everything when I was sent here was still lingering within my soul.
It's just hard to not get too attached to things that you fear will disappear as soon as you just blink.
Shaking my head of those thoughts I join in on the fun, playing tag, discovering wildlife, just being a normal kid again which most people want to relive as everything was more peaceful and simple.
We continued to play for a while until the sun began to set and was force to head home. Everyone's homes are lively with laughter echoing through the wind but this feeling of impending doom is making me paranoid, my senses stretch as far as possible but nothing.
Am I afraid of this place disappearing?
"Xicor, you okay?" Kazu's voice brought me out of my concentration, we were heading to our rooms after our dinner and our rooms were just in front of each.
"Yeah, I'm fine, you don't need to worry about me" I lied, truthfully I'm fully on edge any noise gets my attention.
"That's good, I was hoping Yami wasn't doing anything to you behind our backs"Kazu said.
"What do you mean about Yami?" I asked curiously.
"Well, I caught me staring daggers at you every time you're near Kyouka and I heard him cursing you under his breath" He explained.
"I see, well don't worry about Yami, I doubt he'll do anything" I reassured him as suddenly a dreadful feeling overcame me, halting me in my spot.
"Xicor?" Kazu called out but ignored him as the sound of bells ringing resounded around the village.
"Kasu, wake up Renna and Kazuma and get somewhere safe" I immediately said before dashing out the door.
Running out of the woods are black creatures running like a gorilla with white masks for faces that have various expressions. It's hard to tell how many are coming as more and more are just rushing out of the woods.
I didn't care about keeping secrets right now as there are demons, from what I'm guessing the unknown creatures are, attacking the village that gave me another chance at survival and plus I can up the level of my master on my templates.
Without wasting time, I clapped my hands together and fire piercing blood, going through several in the chest killing them.
Jumping on the roof, I'll act as a sniper by picking off weak and any almost about to one of the villagers but there are so many that the villagers die left and right, not even the child or the elder are safe.
Gritting my teeth, I continue to fire blood until I was force to jump from my spot as a cart smashed where I was standing.
I land steadily on the ground and lock onto the demon that threw it, who was rush towards me with only one directive, kill.
My hand coat in cursed energy and twist my body to dodge its fist before I leaped up and uppercutted the creature as green blood was pushed out of its eyes.
I look around, ready to fire more but the sight and noise caused me to freeze. Fire everywhere, collapsed buildings, people running and screaming with blood staining everywhere, clothes, the structures, the ground and the demons bodies.
It was hell but I swallow down my fears and push forward.
My body became a blur, quick strikes to throw off the demons, making them trip or even making them attack one another.
I let out a breath as more and more people run into the woods away from the demons or hide. Suddenly a young boys screaming caught my attention as well as a young girls in different directions.
Looking the boys source, I find Kazu as well as Kazuma and Renna back against the wall with demon creeping up to them like a sick game it's playing.
I then turn to the girls source to see Kyouka with Yami, another young girl with brown hair and eyes and a woman with black hair and pink eyes, a towering demon, completely different from the others that looks like an oni with one long horn, I can feel its strength an its dreadful.
Damn it!
I quickly send a blood slash at the demon cornering Kazu and the parents before firing a piercing blood at the head of the oni like demon.
But unexpected the demons head jerked slightly before bringing up its fist to cover its head to block the attack. It lowered its hand and inspect it as did I.
No damage.
Only just a tiny scratch.
Great, I'm fighting a damn boss not even a year into this world, just my fucking luck.
We stare at each other for a bit before the oni demon began to walk towards me. I also walk towards it, my cursed energy answered my call as it covered my hands, its red and black flames flicked through the chaos around it.
I do have Ratio as back up if I'm being overwhelmed and if not enough damage is done to it.
"Xicor, run away, what are you doing!?" Kyouka screamed out but the woman and the young girl are holding her back as Yami is just staring at the creature in fear, his whole body shaking.
"Stalling it so you can escape of course" I called out, not taking my eyes of my opponent.
"That's suicide!?" She screamed again, desperately trying to escape from the hold she is in.
"Maybe, but it's you who can't last a second against or me who can probably last 10 minutes" I said before looking at, tears flowing down her cheeks, "get as far from here as possible now before more of these things get yo-" I said before I was forced to jump away from the oni's fist crashing down from where I was.
Appearing above the oni, I swiped my arm and launch a horizontal blood slash but the oni back and destroy the attack and hit me but I managed to put up cursed energy reinforcement to nullify the attack as much as possible but even then.
"it hits like a damn truck" I murmured.
I get out from the home I was sent into before I twist my body to side and jump back and quickly activate Flowing red scale.
With a boost active I rush forward, with cursed energy coating my hands, and plant my fist into the oni's side making it grunt and retaliate by swinging down but I managed to get away in time but wind it pick up push me back a bit.
Off to the side, I spot a couple running away from a demon, its claws reaching out to grab them but I managed to kill it with a blood slash, slicing its head and arms off.
The oni's roared returned my attention to it as I brought up my arms, while having cursed energy reinforcement and pushing blood into my arms to strengthen them, the impact came in as the ground cracked and kicked up roar.
I grunted through the pain, I shot up my arms as the demons arms were thrown up, giving me a opening that I took back coating my arm in blood and coating my hand in cursed energy, maximising the amount of damage I'm putting in.
My body blur forward that my fist appeared in its stomach, making it spit out its green blood before it sent into a home before the structures collapsed on it but i doubt it went down that easily.
While it's down for a bit, I jumped onto a sturdy roof and sniper down more of the demons allowing more people to escape.
I didn't have to wait long as piece of rubble went by me, I attempted to jump away but the oni grabbed my leg midair before it smash me into the ground.
I tried to get up but its fist struck my back, gritting my teeth I roll out of the way before another fist smashed down where I was.
With my body now facing the demon, I immediately clap my hands together and fire piercing blood that hit its right eyes, causing it to roar out in pain and anger.
I roll backwards and jumped off the ground before crossing my arms in the air and sending a blood cross at the demons chest that hit it directly.

"Just a few more until I can use Ratio and kick the living shit out of this thing" I said with a grin but it faltered slightly as I looked down at my hand where flickers of his cursed energy flow out, carry through the wind.
"My cursed energy is getting low, I better use the last of it in my blood manipulation in the hopes of getting that extra cursed energy" I muttered before returning my focus back to the demon as it swung at a house next to it before roaring at me like an angry toddler.
The demon charged at me as I charged as well before I ducked under the oni's fist before I crushed an orb of blood before it shot out like a shotgun between my fingers, into its back.
The demon jolted forward before sharply twisting around and landing punch on my face as blood splashed out of my nose and onto the demons face, my body was shot through house and against a tree.
My breathing was heavy and ragged, I heard a rustle of leaves which made me sharply turn to find Kyouka coming out with that young girl.
My eyes widen at them, "what are you doing here, I told to get out of here" I yelled as I hear the sound of heavy steps coming over.
"I'm not leaving you, come on we can make it out of here!" She yelled back, desperately trying to pick me up and pull me away from the hellscape but I pull myself free from her grasp and run back into the fight despite her pleas going through my ear.
I stop at the side of the another house as the oni smashed it, looking for me.
"Hey, ugly" I shouted as I throw a cursed energy infused rock that hit the demons face in the forehead, the demon growled at be before it started lick the blood on its face, my blood.
I grinned as it did so before bringing a hand up, "dumbass" I say as I click my fingers causing the blood to explode in bursts.
Out of the corner of my eye I spot a swirling portal with an unknown destination but it must be where they came from and my ticket to gain more power, the temptation to go there consumes my greed for power.
"Let's switch the arena, shall we" I grinned.
The demon tilted its head before it watched me make a be line to the portal before stop in front of it before turning to burning village one last time before taking a deep breath, "Hey, you ugly demons, come and get it!!" I screamed out through the burning village as every single demon stopped and looked at me.
Their eyes flashed with hunger as all of them rushed towards me, the oni shoved the other demons out of the way to get to me.
I could see Kazu, Renna, Kazuma, Kyouka, Yami, the young girl and the woman with several other villagers looking at me in shock, but Kazu and Kyouka had tears flowing down their cheeks.
I let a smirk play up on my face before giving a double finger salute and jumping back through the portal as the horde of demons follow through.
3rd Pov:
As the final demon run through the portal, Kyouka immediately got to her feet and run towards the portal, her feet desperately reaching further than she ever ran.
She didn't realise the amount of damage the village was under as she tripped over a piece of burnt wood, she didn't care about her current injuries nor did she care if any other demon were still lingering around. All she cared about was to save her friend who saved her and her mother as well as the friend she see's as a sister.
As her fingers were about an inches from the portal it shrank rapidly until it was never there. Kyouka's body roll across the ground until she stop against a tree. Her body shook with as her tears fell onto the grassy floor, her body laid defeated as her mother came rushing over and comforted her, bringing her daughter's head into her chest as she wept.
Kazu buried his form into his parents arms, Yami just stood there looking at the chaos around him, his hands shook from the close encounter of death, his mind still drifting to the demons face every time he thinks back to this chaos.
The sound of distant sirens echo through the wind but most of people barely acknowledged it, their will stripped in a single night.
While the image of a young boy have a blood ability still lingered in their minds but it was overshadowed by the demons slaughtering their friends, family, lovers.
Multiple police and black vehicles as well as ambulances stopped at the villages entrance as woman rushed out and immediately assisted the people and searched through the rubble for any survivors but it was very slim.
The fire was already gone as they got there but the damage was done, homes destroyed, multiple lives lost, will crumbled.
In total out of the 65 villagers, a total of 12 survivors and 4 injured were the only ones who survived this encounter.
