Amelia got up bright and early from both fear and excitement she vowed to make the most of the coming rest of her life, she had her bath ate and got dressed and head outside meeting Gertrude on the way with a surprised face "good morning miss Amelia" good morning Gertrude I said with a bright smile on my face " the rest of our journey will be only an hour and then we will reach the dukes castle" do we have a gift ready for the duke " yes your parents made sure to get him something" alright then, i just thought we would get something from the market from him that's all it is a beautiful day "miss Amelia seems very happy today she must be trying to lift her spirits to meet the duke, miss Amelia we are early we could just branch around in the market and see what they have to offer" her face light up and she clapped her hand really! Oh how wonderful let's go I giggled and started walking towards the market " I hope the duke doesn't take the smile out of this wonderful girl's heart, miss Amelia wait for me we can't get you lost now can we" you just have to catch up Gertrude hehe and she started skipping Amelia was mesmerized by the sights of the market the smell of fresh food being cooked and roasted, the beautiful and different antiques the sounds of the sellers arguing prices with their customers it was all so new to her she has never been to the market she was so excited she kept bumping into people "miss amelia you have got to calm down" Gertrude came beside her now "anyone could be lurking her you have to mindful of the people around you" I'm sorry Gertrude but it's just so colorful here, so new for me it's making me a little dizzy " do you need to sit down" now getting worried "maybe this was a bad idea, we should head back to the carriage" I chuckled I don't mean literally dizzy I mean theoretically and everything is so cute I could just buy the whole market "miss I have nice kitchen appliances right here you could buy, you would love it", a store seller yelled to me oh? " no I have curtains that will absolutely complement your skin" another gruff man spoke, the two men started bickering"she was looking in my shop" no she said she wanted to spend her money in mine! Gertrude grabbed my hand and pulled me forward " if you ever come to the market again in the future make sure to never say anything like that okay?" Okay, I was so confused I dint understand what was going on "it happens to the best of us " a woman spoke and I looked at her she was light skinned tall and thick with short brown hair and piercing purple eyes it was mesmerizing, she was standing inside a fabric shop "I'm guessing it's her first time in the market" she said speaking to Gertrude " it is she has me extra worried " the woman chuckled tucking her hair behind her ear I'm sure she'll be fine I was worse my first time, git scammed and robbed in the same second she said laughing now and as she swayed her head the light shined through into her shop and reflected on the most beautiful fabric she had ever seen in her life so beautiful she didn't realized when she started walking towards it in a daze the woman and Gertrude halted their conversation to look at Amelia, she stood in front of the fabric mesmerized by it's beauty she forgot to stop breathing, "it's a one in a kind fabric only special people will notice it's beauty you have impeccable taste" the shop woman spoke up, yes it is now reaching to touch the fabric and it glided under the skin of her hand it was almost like the fabric was beckoning her to take it, Gertrude standing by the side noticed and then asked "how much is it" the woman also noticed how Amelia looked at the fabric "it's free" both Amelia and Gertrude looked at the woman in shock "surely you can't give it to us for free I mean we just met" the woman just smiled and walked over to where Amelia was standing with the fabric "I know it seems crazy but I've never seen anyone look at this fabric the way you have and it would kill me if I sell it to you when it's clearly meant for you" then she took Amelia's hand in hers "my only wish is that you use it wisely, when the time is right so will shine brighter than anyone ever could and show them you are meant to be in any room you walk into" Amelia noticed the glimmer in the woman's eye and smiled back at her " I promise miss ?" Oh please just call me Kristy she grinned at Amelia "of course thank you Kristy I promise I will use it wisely" Kristy then took the fabric and packed it up for them and handed it to Gertrude "I hope we meet again goodbye now" the two walked off waving goodbye to the shop owner and smiled at the two retreating figure "that fabric hasn't shown itself to anyone in over 500 years she must be very special " she turned back into her shop to continue her work.
