Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 The Advice From Idiots

Morning breeze slipped softly through the curtains.

Sunlight touched the messy room.

Clothes were scattered everywhere—

On the bed… on the floor… everywhere.

A perfect example of Ashura's lifestyle.

Ashura slowly sat up and yawned.

"…Huhh… why is it morning again…?"

He rubbed his eyes, stretching his arms lazily.

"Can't I just sleep forever…?"

A sigh escaped his lips.

"…Why did I say yes…?"

Silence.

It's more like… I'm engaged to a girl I don't even know…

He leaned back slightly, staring at the ceiling.

Shina…

A faint thought crossed his mind.

She's cute…

A small pause.

No… she's actually beautiful…

Perfect…

But then—

His gaze shifted.

He looked at his hand.

Slowly—

He clenched it.

These hands…

They're always covered in blood…

His expression darkened slightly.

Even my sisters hate this…

A quiet breath.

And girls… hate violence…

A faint chuckle escaped him.

"…But she said she loves me…"

He looked away.

"…maybe that's enough…"

Another sigh.

He stood up slowly.

"I'm sixteen…"

A pause.

"…and I'm already engaged to a billionaire's daughter…"

A small smirk appeared.

"…that's kind of a flex."

He stretched again, shaking his head.

"Maybe fate isn't completely evil…"

He walked toward the window.

Sunlight hit his face.

His expression softened.

"…But now…"

A pause.

"…I have a responsibility."

His voice lowered.

"…to protect someone… who actually cares about me."

Silence.

For the first time—

Ashura wasn't thinking about killing.

He was thinking about…

someone else.

The scene shifted—

To a tall building in the city.

Glass walls reflected the morning light.

Peaceful.

Silent.

Then—

CRASH—

A man was thrown through the glass.

His body slammed onto the ground outside—

Covered in blood.

"AAAHHH—!" he screamed in agony.

Inside—

Stood him.

The mysterious man.

Unmoved.

Calm.

"…Looks like you were under a lot of stress, boy," he said quietly.

His tone—

Almost amused.

Suddenly—

"Drop your weapon!"

Police officers rushed in.

Guns aimed.

Hands shaking.

"Step away from him!"

The man slowly turned his head.

"…Really?"

A smirk formed.

BANG. BANG. BANG.

Gunshots echoed.

Bullets rushed toward him—

And then—

They stopped.

Mid-air.

Silence.

The officers' eyes widened.

"…How…?"

The bullets trembled—

Then suddenly—

REVERSED.

SHRRAK—!

They shot back—

Piercing through the officers' hearts.

Bodies dropped.

One by one.

Dead silence.

The mysterious man tilted his head slightly.

"…Kids."

A pause.

Then—

He started laughing.

Low at first.

Then louder.

Then louder.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA—!"

The entire room trembled.

Glass cracked.

Walls vibrated.

The air itself felt… unstable.

Like reality was breaking.

A madman.

No—

Something worse.

A being…

That ruled over death itself.

Slowly—

He stopped laughing.

His face returned to calm.

Cold.

Emotionless.

"…I found it."

A whisper.

"…that gem."

Darkness swallowed the room.

And then—

BANG.

A single gunshot echoed.

Everything—

Went silent.

Ashura slowly walked down the stairs.

His hair was completely messy.

He wore a half-sleeved torn T-shirt…

And loose, wrinkled pajamas.

Barefoot.

Half asleep.

Yawning.

…Feels like someone was remembering me…

"Huhhh…" he sighed lazily as he stepped down.

Then—

He stopped.

His gaze locked.

Ashura froze.

"…Huh?"

Standing in the living room—

Shina.

Smiling brightly.

"Good morning, Ashura."

Her voice was soft.

Warm.

Ashura's face instantly turned red.

His brain stopped working.

"G-Good morning… dear—"

He paused.

Then suddenly—

"WHAT?!"

He screamed so loudly—

Even the crows outside flew away.

"WHO LET YOU INTO MY HOUSE?!!"

Ruhi quietly placed a hand on Ashura's shoulder.

"…She came at 6 AM."

Ashura slowly turned his head.

"…What?"

He glanced at the wall clock.

"…It's 12 now."

Ruhi nodded seriously.

"…Yeah."

A pause.

Then she leaned closer and whispered—

"…She's definitely a yandere."

Ashura blinked.

Ruhi sighed, puffing her cheeks slightly.

"I'm actually scared…"

Her voice softened.

"…what if she takes you away from us?"

Before Ashura could respond—

Shina suddenly held his arm.

Firmly.

"You want to test that?" she said with a gentle smile.

"…Let's try."

"…"

"…"

The air went silent.

"Ashura jii…" she called softly.

Ashura glanced at her—

Calm.

Cold.

"…Sorry, Shina."

A pause.

"Today… I'm not giving time to any girl."

The room froze.

Even the atmosphere felt awkward.

Ashura straightened his posture.

"My friends are coming today."

He added casually—

"So no girls in the house."

From the kitchen—

Avni's voice echoed loudly.

"IDIOT!"

"I already told you—go find another house!"

"I don't like your friends!"

Ashura:

"…Why am I getting attacked from everywhere…"

Ding Dong—

The doorbell rang.

Ashura glanced toward the entrance.

"…They're here."

Ruhi walked toward the door, already annoyed.

She puffed her cheeks.

"Uff… why do I even have to deal with your idiot friends…"

Her eyes turned cold.

"I especially hate that red-haired guy…"

A pause.

"He always flirts with me."

Ashura sighed from behind.

"…He says he likes you."

Ruhi stopped.

Her expression darkened even more.

"I hate him."

She grabbed the door handle—

And opened it.

"Hii Ruhi! How are yo—"

BANG—

She slammed the door right into his face.

"AHHHHHHH—!!"

A loud scream echoed from outside.

Silence.

Ashura slowly lifted his hand…

…and facepalmed.

"…Idiot."

The door slowly opened again.

The red-haired boy stood there—

His face completely red.

"…Ruhi…" he said softly.

"Why did you do that to me…?"

A pause.

"…Don't you love me?"

From behind—

Laughter exploded.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA—!"

Ashura couldn't hold it either.

He chuckled.

Behind him—

Shina covered her lips, trying to control her laughter.

Ashura smirked slightly.

"…Poor Yash."

"Always getting bullied."

Yash snapped instantly.

"Ashura! Tell your sister not to do this!"

Ruhi crossed her arms calmly.

"…Sorry, Yash."

A pause.

"This was self-defense."

"SELF-DEFENSE?!" Yash yelled.

"I'M GOING TO DIE ONE DAY BECAUSE OF YOU!"

From behind—

Another voice cut in.

"Ashura…"

Reyansh stepped forward, narrowing his eyes.

"…who's that girl beside you?"

Harsh, still holding his book, glanced up lazily.

"…Did you hire a maid or something?"

Ashura replied calmly—

"No."

A pause.

Then casually—

"…She's my fiancée."

Silence.

The world froze.

Brains stopped working.

And then—

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA?!"

The entire house exploded with screams.

Ruhi giggled softly.

"…Look at their faces."

Yash stood frozen.

Completely shocked.

"…When did my boy get a girl…?"

Ashura glanced at him casually.

"I didn't expect you guys to meet her this soon…"

A pause.

"…but yeah."

"I'm engaged."

Reyansh grabbed Ashura's shoulders and shook him.

"BROOO!"

"I thought you were a sigma boy!"

"What happened to you?!"

Ashura chuckled.

"I'm not sigma…"

He pointed lazily.

"…Harsh is."

THUD.

Harsh's book fell from his hand.

He slowly looked up—

"…Ashura…"

"…you got engaged?"

Before things could calm down—

Avni walked out of the kitchen.

"Ohh… Harsh, Reyansh, Yash…"

A fake smile appeared on her face.

"…welcome."

Reyansh looked at her, still confused.

"Avni didi… when did Ashura get engaged?"

She tilted her head casually.

"…Yesterday."

"YESTERDAY?!"

Yash grabbed his own hand dramatically.

Tears filled his eyes.

"You never even found a girl for your brother…"

"And now you're getting married?!"

Ashura laughed.

"…Idiots."

Shina stepped forward gracefully.

A calm smile on her face.

"I'm Shina Velryna…"

A small pause.

"…Ashura's fiancée."

Ruhi crossed her arms.

"Huhh… at least now you know."

Suddenly—

Yash grabbed Ruhi's hand.

"PLEASE!"

"Let's get married too!"

"So we can make your brother jealous—"

SLAP.

Before he could finish—

A sharp sound echoed.

In one second—

Yash was on the ground.

Face red.

Soul gone.

Avni quickly grabbed Ruhi's arm.

"Ruhi—stop!"

Ruhi's eyes burned with anger.

"Let me kill him—"

She pulled out a knife.

Ashura chuckled.

"…Calm down, sissy."

Yash, lying on the ground—

"…I think Ruhi really loves me…"

And then—

He blacked out.

The scene shifted—

Avni placed glasses of juice on the table.

"Here," she said calmly.

"Drink."

She glanced at Ashura.

"…And go change your clothes."

Her eyes narrowed.

"Do you want to look like a beggar forever?"

Reyansh leaned back casually.

"Honestly…"

"Ashura looks good like this."

A smirk appeared.

"He's definitely not a king though."

Avni shot him a look.

"Why do you always defend him?"

Her tone turned slightly sharp.

"You didn't even come to see him in the hospital."

Yash immediately raised his hand.

"WRONG."

"We came 67 times!"

He puffed his cheeks.

"But Ruhi kept sending us back…"

"She says she loves me but hates us—"

Ashura chuckled.

"…Even after getting disrespected, my brothers still show up."

Harsh adjusted his posture slightly.

"Avni didi… can you cook something for us?"

Avni sighed.

"…Fine."

"But don't make trouble."

Ashura waved his hand.

"Yeah yeah… now give us some private time."

Avni nodded and walked away.

The moment she left—

Reyansh instantly moved closer to Ashura.

"So…"

A grin spread across his face.

"How is she?"

A pause.

"Her nature… her figure—"

BAM.

Ashura punched his head.

"Idiot."

"You really asking that?"

Yash nodded seriously.

"Yeah bro… be respectful…"

A pause.

"…but still…"

"What's her size?"

BAM.

"OUCH—!"

Yash held his cheek, nearly crying.

Harsh spoke calmly, ignoring the chaos.

"I don't know about everything…"

A pause.

"But…"

"I can sense loyalty from her."

Ashura nodded slightly.

"…Yeah."

"She's loyal."

Reyansh leaned back.

"I don't know much…"

"But if my brother is happy…"

"…then it's fine."

Yash suddenly leaned forward again.

"Important question."

"Does she have a sister?"

A pause.

"…Talk to her for me."

"Ummmm…"

Silence.

Yash froze.

"…I'm going to die, right?"

He gulped.

"…Sorry."

Ashura suddenly chuckled.

"…Relax."

"Just joking, brother."

After a few hours of chatting—

Avni's voice echoed from the kitchen.

"Dinner is ready, boys."

Her tone was calm.

But strict.

Ashura nodded.

"…Yeah, we're coming."

All of them stood up.

Yash suddenly grabbed water—

SPLASH.

"IDIOT—!"

Ashura got drenched.

"…You're dead."

SPLASH.

He threw water back.

Reyansh joined instantly.

"Let's gooo—!"

SPLASH. SPLASH.

Chaos.

Water everywhere.

Laughter filling the room.

Until—

"…Are you done?"

Avni's voice came from behind.

Calm.

Deadly.

All boys froze.

Slowly turned.

"…Yes."

They nodded nervously.

"Completely done."

They walked into the kitchen quietly.

Like innocent children.

Sat at the table.

In front of them—

Ruhi and Shina were already sitting.

Silent.

Scrolling on their phones.

Yash leaned forward slightly.

"Ohhh Ruhi…"

"You look cute when you're on your phone."

Ruhi slowly lifted her gaze.

"…How do I look now?"

Her eyes turned cold.

Yash gulped.

"…Cute… plus devil."

Reyansh smirked and pointed at Shina.

"So…"

"…are you really loyal to my brother?"

A pause.

"Or planning to break him?"

Ashura glared.

"…Idiot. Don't say things like that."

Shina suddenly stood up.

Puffed her cheeks.

"I am loyal."

She looked around.

"…How should I prove it?"

Harsh, without hesitation—

"…Kiss him."

Silence.

Ashura:

"…WHAT?"

Shina froze for a second.

Then—

Slowly stepped closer.

A little shy.

A little nervous.

And—

kissed Ashura on the cheek.

Ashura's brain crashed.

"…Huhhhhh—?!"

Yash jumped up.

"I TOOK A PHOTO—!"

"I TOOK A PHOTO—!"

Ashura looked down.

Face red.

Completely stunned.

Shina then turned—

Pointed at Reyansh.

"…Now your turn."

"…Show your loyalty to your friend."

"…Kiss Ashura."

Ashura:

"…Wait—what?"

Reyansh stood up confidently.

"…Say less."

Ashura's eyes widened.

"WAIT—"

"NO—"

"SAVE ME—!!"

Chaos exploded again.

Ruhi burst out laughing.

Yash and Harsh struggled to control themselves.

Ashura stood on the chair—

Looking absolutely done with life.

"…I regret everything."

Yash stretched his arms and stood up.

"…Thanks for the dinner, Avni didi."

Avni crossed her arms.

"…It's fine."

A small smirk.

"Feeding the poor is a good deed."

Ashura glanced at her.

"…Yeah, yeah… whatever."

Reyansh looked at Ashura.

"…You still angry?"

Shina spoke softly from behind.

"…We already said sorry…"

Ashura puffed his cheeks.

"…Nope."

"Don't come near me for the next hundred million years."

Harsh placed a hand on his shoulder.

"…Ashura."

"No matter what happens…"

"Don't forget your brothers."

Ashura didn't reply—

But his expression softened slightly.

Meanwhile—

Yash suddenly grabbed Ruhi's hands dramatically.

"Ruhi… my love…"

"Let's run away together and live happily—"

Ruhi froze.

Her cheeks turned red for a second.

And then—

SLAP.

Yash held his cheek.

"…Ouch…"

Ruhi turned her face away.

"…Don't come near me."

Shina smiled softly and looked at them all.

"…I really liked today…"

"I wish I could spend more time like this."

Avni gently patted her head.

"…Don't worry."

"One day, you'll be part of this family too."

Ashura glanced away.

"…Yeah… whatever."

Reyansh waved.

"Bye, bro."

"Take care."

Yash and Harsh followed.

"See you."

One by one—

They left.

Silence returned.

Shina turned toward Ashura.

"…Bye, Ashura."

A small pause.

"…and sorry."

She started walking away.

Ruhi lightly hit Ashura's shoulder.

"…Go drop her home."

Ashura frowned.

"…Why?"

Ruhi rolled her eyes.

"…Because she's your fiancée, idiot."

"…Oh."

Ashura nodded.

He walked after Shina—

And gently held her hand.

Shina froze.

Her cheeks turned red.

"…Ashura…"

She spoke softly.

"…Let me walk with you tonight."

The two walked together.

Side by side.

Silently.

Rain started falling.

Soft.

Calm.

Almost peaceful.

The scene shifted—

A dark place.

A man stood there.

The mysterious man.

In his hand—

A photo.

Ashura's photo.

"…I found you again…"

His voice was low.

Cold.

"…in this city."

A smirk slowly formed.

"…Ashura."

A pause.

"…I'm coming."
