"Why do you always dislike him?" Ada was a bit puzzled.
"Because only I can have the last laugh; no one else can," Eddie's tone was domineering. It implied that only he could take advantage of situations, and others should get lost.
"You're really overbearing. What if I also stood against you?" Ada asked thoughtfully.
"You? Impossible. What's yours is mine, and what's mine is yours. We won't be on opposing sides." Eddie waved his hand. If she really opposed him, he would have no choice but to resort to the last method: tie Ada up to prevent her from being playful in front of him.
At the Waste Disposal Plant, Marvin didn't let the agents follow him in. Instead, he had them escort the remaining civilians away from that dangerous place.
"Rita, we're leaving. Hurry and catch up!" Marvin called out.
The blonde beauty, Rita, shook her head, "I'm going with Eddie. You guys go first."
"That Eddie guy sure has good luck!" Kevin joked, clearly a bit envious and jealous.
"Women are unreliable. It's better to rely on yourself," Leon muttered softly. He had even been friend-zoned before coming to work.
"Bring Enrico. He's injured. We can't stay in this hell any longer." Marvin went to gather the other agents. While it was still safe, they had to leave quickly. Who knew what might appear later?
Fortunately, the Highway was not congested, and these agents were able to find usable vehicles nearby to leave Raccoon City, which had become a monster paradise, by land.
Chapter 253: The Bullying Parasitic Tyrant
What Eddie needed was precisely this kind of person. People without use value had no need to be saved. Only useful people could survive.
The law of the jungle applied everywhere. If you had no ability, you might as well just wait for death in Raccoon City.
At Mendes Wharf, Rodriguez, having received orders, used a helicopter to transport the container carrying the Nyx to the Waste Disposal Plant. Although he didn't know why this was necessary, it wasn't something a small fry like him could question.
After noticing the movements on the periphery, Suzuki Yoko tipped off her man, "Eddie, an Umbrella helicopter is flying towards the Waste Disposal Plant, carrying a container. It might be some kind of bioweapon."
"I know. Can you find out what it is?" Eddie refocused. This place had already turned into a free-for-all.
"Not yet, but there's another piece of news. The Guard stationed at the Arklay Mountains defense line has sent another three hundred reinforcements. This time, there's also a new type of weapon. That's all the information I have. Be careful and come back soon!" Suzuki Yoko's voice was full of worry.
"No problem, I'll find an opportunity to leave." Eddie nodded.
Just as he hung up, he heard Moira's call, "Eddie, a very strange Tyrant has appeared here. It's found us, and we're engaging it. Are you guys almost done over there?"
"I'll come help you. It's time to leave now." Eddie hung up. "Ladies, we should go."
"You go first. I still need to observe a bit more. I'll catch up with you later." Ada continued to observe with her monocular telescope.
Eddie nodded without speaking, then quickly leaped onto the open ground outside. Svetlana, Jessica, and Lisa also followed, and in the distance, a strange Tyrant with pincer-like limbs could be seen wrestling with Moira and the others.
Seemingly sensing an attack from behind, the Parasitic Tyrant turned its head to dodge, but it hadn't expected Eddie to directly kick the Alpha Parasite on its back, causing it to fly out.
Observing it up close, he saw that this Tyrant was somewhat deformed. Its right arm had shrunk to the size of a normal person's, but its left arm had mutated and become giant. Coupled with the parasitic pincer limbs on its back, it looked incredibly grotesque and monstrous.
"Eddie!" Moira exclaimed joyfully.
Eddie pulled Moira, dodging the Tyrant's pincer attack. "Don't get distracted during a fight. Focus. We can talk about anything else after it's over."
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! The giant pincer limbs were incredibly agile, even capable of suddenly changing direction during an attack, making them impossible to defend against.
Eddie himself would have been cut if he wasn't careful, but his powerful recovery ability meant that his wounds healed before even a drop of blood could flow out.
The Parasitic Tyrant's strength was formidable, and its power had increased significantly, but its intelligence was somewhat low.
Svetlana dodged one of the pincer limbs, turning her palm into a hand-blade. With a swift motion, she brutally severed the pincer limb, which even assault rifles couldn't penetrate!
"Oww! Squeak!" The Parasitic Tyrant let out two pained cries, one from the Tyrant itself, and the other from the Alpha Parasite.
The attacked Parasitic Tyrant quickly retracted its pincer limbs, which then rapidly dug into the soil, disappearing as quickly as an earthworm, leaving no trace.
Eddie stood silently, sensing, but there was no movement at all.
"Has it disappeared?" Moira was a bit puzzled. The next moment, she quickly leaped to the other side as a pincer limb rose from the ground, nearly piercing her.
The pincer limb then retreated into the soil very quickly, hiding without a trace.
The next moment, Svetlana, as if by inspiration, took out a Magnum. Her two-handed grip on the gun was heroic and dashing. As Emma dodged a pincer attack, Svetlana frowned slightly, her beautiful eyes fixed on that pincer limb, and bullet time appeared.
Bang! A Magnum bullet flew out, striking the joint just as the pincer limb was retracting into the ground. The powerful kinetic energy of the bullet hit the vulnerable spot, almost severing half of the pincer limb.
The Parasitic Tyrant let out another strange cry. This time, it stayed hidden in the ground. It sensed the offspring laid by infected earthworms nearby—small, mutated earthworms over a meter long, similar to pythons, all with sharp teeth.
These earthworms would normally grow into mature earthworms over ten meters long in just a week, becoming top predators similar to sandworms.
However, now they had become food for the Parasitic Tyrant to fill its energy gap. It was just unknown if they still contained rich protein.
"Let's go, while it's not out." Eddie called out, returned to the building to pick up Rita and Claire, and found a car to prepare for departure.
Ada, meanwhile, installed high-intensity explosives in the lounge. After receiving the call, she jumped ten meters down in her high heels.
Her grappling gun fired a triangular hook, which embedded itself in a large tree, allowing her to gracefully land like Spider-Man. She ran towards the rendezvous point with a "Dadada" sound, her speed exceeding twenty meters per second, which would be impossible for a human.
The Parasitic Tyrant hiding underground was controlled by the parasite, seeking advantage and avoiding harm, understanding the most basic hunting rule: hunt the weak, not the strong. It was eliminating the small mutated earthworms that looked delicious and had no power to resist.
Rodriguez dropped the massive container in front of a building in the Waste Disposal Plant, then turned the helicopter around, flying at low altitude to approach the landing zone.
Meanwhile, inside the sulfuric acid pool, five Tyrants, free from their restraints and functional limitations, emerged. Their bodies were covered in hardened scales, and their hands had mutated into enormous claws, each half a meter long and exceptionally grotesque.
Their heart areas were well-concealed, and their speed had broken through all limits.
The Guard present couldn't track the Tyrants' attack routes. They were often rushed into the formation, taking a few shots without harm, and then casually swatting unfortunate soldiers to death with a claw.
The transformed William also attacked the Guard. In his residual consciousness, he clearly remembered that these gun-wielding individuals were all bad news, all beasts coming to steal his samples!
Chapter 254: Nyx
The Guard, already in a precarious situation due to being attacked from both sides, was further exacerbated. The third-form G-Creature was extremely fast, having transformed from a human into something akin to a predator.
Its back, like wings, allowed for more balanced airflow during rapid assaults, increasing its maneuverability. When necessary, it could also lower itself to deflect bullets and avoid injury.
From an evolutionary perspective, the G-Virus was indeed impressive. If it could be improved and a new, controllable virus created, that would be perfect!
"Fire!" The squad leader desperately shouted, only to be riddled with bullets the next second!
In a distant corner, an Ivan-type Tyrant in white clothing was sweeping with a Gatling gun, only stopping when it ran out of ammunition.
It cleverly avoided the G-Creature that was currently hunting. Its orders were to use weapons to kill the Guard soldiers, avoiding hitting the G-Creature.
Sergei was very clever. He wanted the G-Creature to become his ally, to hunt down the Guard. Only after those troublesome individuals were dead would it be time to deal with the William clones.
On the other side, the Echo Six Team, fighting and retreating, withdrew to a building. Nearby, a small squad of ten men was approaching the container with their guns, intending to kill any bioweapons that might emerge from inside.
