"Here we have samples of the T+G Virus retrieved from the French Branch, now at version 0.92. It can achieve biological extremes never before seen, producing an electrical effect!" Oriana truthfully stated, a fact that could be found in documents at the French Branch.
"What do you intend to do with this virus?" Eddie seemed to enjoy the sensation, maintaining his posture.
"The T+G Virus can enhance the human body. If the physique is suitable, it can grant the experimental subject the strength of a Tyrant, and due to the electrical effect, incredibly fast speed," Oriana explained with her head bowed, keeping one secret to herself.
"She might be lying, or at least not telling the whole truth," Jessica suddenly interjected. She could sense the other party's heartbeat, and a heartbeat would surely fluctuate differently when lying. This was intuition, and Jessica always trusted her intuition.
Eddie thought of Morpheus's philosophical Tyrant, then looked at the alluring Oriana with a strange expression. "Your physique might be very suitable for becoming a Tyrant, so you want to use this virus to help you gain powerful strength, is that right? Well, that's quite a surprise!"
"You're talking nonsense, I'm not!" Oriana finally couldn't maintain her composure. She was terrified that her special physique would be taken for experimentation.
Eddie seemed to see through her thoughts, shaking his head with a smile. "Don't be nervous, I won't use you as an experimental subject. I think we can cooperate. I've looked at your work history; are you currently working for Simmons?"
Oriana was still a bit shaken. Her greatest fear was being used as experimental material. When she faced innocent victims, she would only feel like laughing, but when she herself became an experimental subject, she would also be afraid and tremble.
Eddie patted her back. "Don't be afraid, tell me. I prefer to cooperate with smart people."
"What do you want to know?" Oriana was still a little scared.
"Simmons' current experimental progress," Eddie said with a smile. Although January's hacking skills were formidable, Simmons' family was no pushover, and they still couldn't breach their laboratory network firewall.
Oriana took a deep breath, lit a cigarette, and calmed herself. "Simmons entrusted me to help him with an experiment: to transform a woman named Carla into a woman with a special appearance, named Ada."
Eddie's expression was peculiar. How had this already begun? "How did you do it?"
"Carla is a genius. Using the Progenitor Virus obtained from Umbrella, she isolated its toxicity. Then, she separated the highly lethal toxicity from the Veronica Virus and fused them. This resulted in the T02 Virus, which was then combined with some G-Virus, whose formula only she knows, forming the current unstable Pupa Virus."
"The substance known as the C-Virus, in theory, possesses gentle adaptability and the sudden explosiveness of the G-Virus. It's an ideal biochemical weapon, however, all of this is theoretical data and not yet achievable."
"Currently, what can be achieved is complete cosmetic modification. This modification can transform a person into another. The prerequisite is having corresponding genes; otherwise, it will only lead to death. Using it for cosmetic purposes is also not that easy to accomplish," Oriana calmly explained.
"So you started modifying Carla?" Eddie's expression was somewhat strange.
Oriana nodded. "That's right, Carla also knows this is Simmons' conspiracy. That laboratory is Simmons' unique private facility, equipped with the most secure configurations. Once the modification begins, outsiders cannot enter unless the time limit is reached."
"How long will it take?" Eddie asked another question.
"It should be a year, a conservative estimate, to ensure foolproof results. This is cosmetic modification, not the creation of a biochemical weapon," Oriana explained.
"Alright, I understand. I look forward to your masterpiece. Now, let's talk about you. What do you want to gain?" Eddie picked up a can of happy fat house water, opened it, and took a swig.
"I once doubted Umbrella's purpose in developing biochemical weapons, and Morpheus also had similar doubts. After our investigation, we found that all of this was a lie, and Spencer harbored some ulterior motive. Coupled with some clues, we discovered that he wanted to use the virus to extend his lifespan."
"If it were other viruses, this might not be possible, but the Progenitor Virus can. It can, to a certain extent, supplement genetic sequences, making humans stronger. I have always been working on deciphering the virus, searching for this possibility," Oriana said, her head bowed, her beautiful eyes shimmering with curiosity.
"Do you know what I'm going to do to you?" Eddie asked with a mischievous grin.
Oriana nodded. "I know your secret. Either join you or be killed by you. I choose to join you."
"I don't have any secrets," Eddie waved his hand. He needed elites, not trash. Even if they were beautiful women, they had to be high-quality, not like protagonists in some novels who take in everyone.
Oriana looked up, a smile curving the corners of her lipstick-painted lips. "The management here is strict; ordinary people can't break in. Secondly, some areas require extremely agile speed to pass through, and there are laser detections. None of these detected you, which only proves that you are excellent, and that is enough."
Alexia had been observing the phone she carried, but suddenly said, "She can join us. She has researched several viruses before, and with her special physique, she should make a good tool."
"No need for a tool. A blood test and some hair will give us a general idea," Eddie wouldn't use humans as experimental subjects. He had always used cell cloning for experiments; that stuff was like lab mice, and more accurate than using lab mice.
"If you recruit me, I will tell you some information about Simmons. I know you're at odds with him," Oriana eagerly demonstrated her value. She didn't want to be used as an experimental subject.
Eddie checked his watch. "There's still time. I can discuss some more important matters with you." With that, he pulled Oriana to the other side.
Chapter 409: Cheongsam Agent, Fong Ling
Alexia glanced at the smoky-eyed woman and said, "Follow Eddie, and you will gain more. What a foolish woman. It is your honor to follow him. Once you taste even a little benefit, you won't want to leave."
Oriana said nothing. She wouldn't believe what the other party said.
But the next second, Oriana's eyes almost popped out. She saw Eddie punch through the wall himself. This wall was constructed with steel and could withstand ten tons of impact, and with the force dispersed, it absolutely could not be broken by a human with bare hands.
"Did you see that? Surprised? Follow him, and you will get what you want. The man I fancy will never be a good-for-nothing, only a genius," Alexia didn't mind Eddie's domineering behavior just now. In her opinion, it was perfectly normal.
Perhaps Eastern women might find it a bit awkward, but Alexia wouldn't. If she accepted Eddie, she would accept everything about him.
"How is that possible! Unless he strengthened himself with a virus, are there no side effects at all?" Oriana was somewhat incredulous, her beautiful eyes flashing with doubt. She seriously wondered if she was seeing things, or if this was a dream?
"Side effects? Didn't you just experience it yourself? What's the point in asking?" Alexia sneered. Her reminder was merely a show of goodwill, not because she had become kinder, but to flaunt how powerful her man was.
Eddie broke through the wall, dismantled the electronic laser lock, and physically bypassed the laser passage. He didn't want to test how fun lasers were; even if he didn't die, it could lead to incredible mutations, so it was better not to take risks.
Meanwhile, beneath the branch island, a submarine surfaced, and three Federation agents jumped out, swimming towards the island.
These three were ace agent Bruce, vehicle killer Leon, and the optimistic Kevin. The three were ordered to investigate this Umbrella Atlantic Ocean Branch, which, according to Spencer's account, had been abandoned before the Raccoon City incident.
Their mission was to find the mastermind, destroy the virus missile silos here, eliminate the mercenaries on the island, and rescue the hostages.
It sounded incredible, but wasn't doing incredible things what agents did?
The three stepped onto the island. Kevin pulled out a Magnum. "This godforsaken place, you can't even see a single soul. It seems I'm destined to deal with these monsters my whole life."
"Don't complain. Finish early, and we can still visit the Iberian Peninsula Kingdom to enjoy some delicious food and a villa with a sea view," Leon also pulled out a Magnum, a firearm not typically associated with agents. They favored it for its powerful destructive force, capable of an instant kill.
On the other side of the island, a female agent, wearing a cheongsam top, denim leather pants, with her long hair coiled at the back of her head, a delicate face, and a slender figure, stepped onto the shore. She was an Eastern female agent dispatched due to Morpheus's threats and blackmail.
"This is Fong Ling. I have currently landed on Kazakhstan Island and am preparing to rescue the target," the woman in the cheongsam top calmly reported.
"Received. There will be agents from other regions on the island. Avoid engaging in firefights. Cooperate if necessary. Destroy the missile silos first!" a clear, cold female voice replied.
"Received." After Fong Ling hung up the phone, she stealthily infiltrated. This was a dense forest, but she chose not to enter it, instead climbing over the rocks.
Within the dense forest were Zombie Dogs, kept in enclosures and controlled by chips. These Zombie Dogs occasionally lost control due to extreme hunger. Under normal circumstances, they maintained a dog's vigilance and could quickly eliminate intruders.
Sure enough, as Fong Ling climbed the rocks, she heard screams and tearing sounds from the dense forest, which quickly subsided. Without looking, she knew it was some agent being ambushed and devoured by Zombie Dogs. Even if not dead, they wouldn't recover, and might even turn into zombies.
After crossing the cliff, Fong Ling deftly broke the necks of several guards, noticing that these guards quickly dissolved into a solution after death, a phenomenon that somewhat surprised her.
The slender Fong Ling quickly infiltrated the perimeter of the laboratory, entering it through the trash disposal area in an incredible manner.
Upon entering the laboratory, she found it already occupied by zombies. Many zombies were still wearing work clothes, seemingly the researchers from here.
There were also some zombies dressed very strangely, but clearly identifiable as mercenaries.
Fong Ling advanced, eliminating some obstructing zombies with her knife and silenced pistol. She then encountered a man swaggering towards her with several women.
"Oh, are you an agent?" Eddie was carrying a fully charged electromagnetic rifle, a modified weapon designed to deal with electromagnetic Tyrants.
"I am Agent Fong Ling. Are you Mr. Eddie?" Fong Ling nodded in greeting.
